The custom metal models built by Guillermo Rojas Bazán are considered the best in the world in their category by several institutions of wide international prestige such as the Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Notre Dame, the National Museum of the United States Air Force and Christie's South Kensington. See "Recognition letters" here:

After years of looking at models and modelling, I've never seen anything like this. Words simply fail me.
Thank you, Trent!
That's insane !! I started shaking my head in the first few seconds, and didn't stop till the end ! Unbelievable ! Amazing !!
Thanks for watching my videos, Gavin.
Thank you for posting more fantastic work and i'm so sorry for your loss of Mishi.
Thank you, Sir, I really appreciate your kind words.
You are, without a doubt, the most talented modeler to have ever graced this Earth. You have earned my utmost respect and admiration. If you could sell these, I would save up and buy them in a heartbeat. Well done.
Also- I'm very sorry about your cat. I loved watching her in your previous builds.
Thank you for your very kind words, sir.
rojasbazan its true you are a great aeromodeler
Thank you for the kind message. When building a model it is very difficult to know when you can finish it. Thanks you for visiting my channel, sir.
OMG. I also wish to express my condolences on your loss.
A cat lover is at another level, it visible in your perfect work. Mishi will remain in my memory
Sir, I really appreciate your very kind words. Mishi died in 2007 of a brain tumor when he was just 9 years old. That greatly affected my professional career during the following months.Two days after Mishi's death, and having the obligation to continue working because the client was rushing me, the OS2U model fell out of my hands and the central float supports broke. I fixed it as I could.
I dedicated a link to my dear kitty on my website (the site needs to be fixed because the texts and titles are very messed up, but it is still viewable):

@@rojasbazan sir, this morning i find your reply and curiously, last night i was admiring Mishi on your b17 video. I have now looked at your page dedicated to Mishi, what a beautiful being he was. Fortunately he got the life he deserved in your family. Thank you for sharing these wonderful moments. I am also impressed beyond words by the quality of your work. Thank you for taking the time to reply.
@@firststreet4771 I appreciate your kindness, sir. And thank you for your thoughts!
Sir I am in awe of you... A pure delight to watch such workmanship.. Having said that.... I found that I had to watch it at 0.5 speed so I could absorb all the exquisite detail. At normal speed it flashes by too quickly....I think most people would be prepared to watch for 15- 20 mins to admire your work... Regards :-))
Thank you, sir. The video is 10 years old and UA-cam "regulates" the speed.
@@rojasbazan Sir what I was trying to say was that you could make a video 2 hours long and I would still watch :-))
whilst looking for how to foil plastic model planes, i stumbled upon this video.
truly amazing.
if you make a living out of doing this my friend, then it deserves to be a damned good one.
good luck and thanks for sharing it with us.
Thank you, sir.
I'm speechless - I've just discovered your work, and I'm totally blown away... I've recently rediscovered the joy of modelling 1/72 aircraft kits and thought I was getting pretty good at it! But now I've discovered your work I feel pretty humbled to say the least.
I fly... but the true miracle are the men like you that build the machines. Forty years in the clouds, given to me by craftsmen such as you.
R.I.P. Mishi. :(
Unbelievable scale model!!
Thank you Ricardo for the kind words!!!
@myleftnutts
Thank you for your kind comment! A four- engine model in scale 1/15 takes me over two years of work and a model of two engines over one and half year. Because I want to build several models of two and four engines (Junkers Ju88, Heinkel He111, Avro Lancaster, Martin B-10, etc), the only way to do is changing the scale. My Stearman PT-17 is made in 1/24 scale and has all interior details, movements from both cockpits and working lights and propeller.
I have nothing to do with modeling planes. When I see all those tutorials aboud plastic modeling and air brush technics for weathering etc. which is also more then amazing, and I see your modeling I blown away. This is engineering in a high order. To read all those blueprints cut and build until such a wonder is pure magic. To work 15 month full time on this model I wonder where your models end up. Thank you for these nice tutorials Rojas.
kind regards Jeen
I really appreciate your kind comment, Jeen. And thank you for watching my videos!
Yet another enormous WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
An engineering genius.
Thank you.
Amazing work
Thank you Anthony.
As with all Master Rojasbazan's videos, I am in sheer awe at how jaw-droppingly detailed and accurate these works of art are.
Thank you for the nice comment, sir.
It's built just like the real one, piece by piece that had to be fabricated from raw materials. Insane! PS thanks for the silent treatment. I could actually hear myself gasp in awe multiple times.
Thank you, Donald. Yes, I prefer the silent video option (there is too much noise pollution on youtube).
I've said it before, but your work is unbelievably perfect. I do wish you'd do a video of you actualy making some of your parts, and your assembly methods. This would only be out of extreme interest, because I doubt anyone else in the world would even try to imitate your methods. You are unquestionably the best modeller ever.
Your work is truly outstanding and should be considered art in the highest sense. To plan, scale and fabricate all the parts needed to create one of your works is truly amazing. Having been in the art field for years, I've seen most mediums, but working with a soft alloy like aluminum...no one compares.
Ted, thank you very much for your words and appreciations.
Wow you have amazing talent. It's like a real aircraft but on small scale. Stunning
Thank you for the comment, sir.
This is absolutely amazing! These aircraft are true pieces of art made by a true artisan! Wow!
Thank you for your comment, Jay.
I am a judge of International Plastic Modeler's Society of USA ... i can say that your work is the best i have ever seen in every competition or has relative to this subject.By Far the best modeller ....i will prefer to say Artist .Here you choose a very hard subject and the final result is truly amazing....Now you need to make the USS Quincy and put this plane on :D
I am impressed every time i watch your work.
Thank you so much for being an inspiration to so many around the world showcasing your talents. I truly appreciate when you share your passion, techniques, and top level craftsmanship by means of your work. May God continue to bless your hands as your modeling talents bring much viewing pleasure and enjoyment. Keep up the good work.
this 1 is the best model ive ever seen
Thank you, sir.
Unbelievable detail and workmanship.
Thank you, Roy.
I always check here a couple of times a week at least and am amazed at the patience and detail it takes...beautiful work!
Amazing work with incredible detail. The fact that this is from scratch makes it even more astounding. Take a bow.
Thank you for your comment, Omar.
Thank you for your comment.There are several companies that sell aircraft blueprints on CDs (search the Internet). Anyway I do my own blueprints by comparing and correcting different 3 view drawings, photos, manuals and engineering drawings.
Run! Hes got a shrinkray! (Ive never seen such perfect modelling in my entire lifetime) you deserve a medal!
I have no words to truly express how amazingly beautiful this is!!!
@thhall459
You are very generous with your comment, thank you.
I am about to star working on my first commercial DVD to teach my techniques and tips. When the DVD is ready I will announce it through a promocional video here.
Excellent! There is no other word to describe your work other than excellent! You are a master!
Pretty sure the radio equipment actually works? Congratulations on another masterpiece!
Thank you, Steve.
Well, i'm more into building submarines, but i can really appreciate this kind of scratchbuilding and level of details, keep up the good work.
I'm more into building submarines, but i really can appreciate this kind of details and scratchwork, keep up the good work.
After watching this guy, I think I should just throw away all of my stuff and give up on my hobby that I have enjoyed for the last 40 years! This guy blows me away with the detail!!! Unbelievable!!
John, thanks for the comment, but don't throw anything away, you have to keep doing what you like, right or wrong.
Simply stunning! Even your under construction photos look like the real thing.
Thank you ,sir.
I can think of one word to describe your work and that's brilliant!!!
A true work of art! AWESOME...well done!!!
Thank you for your comment, Darryl.
Thank you, I really appreciate your comment.
Thank you, I appreciate your comment
What a true piece of pure craftsmanship....just staggering accomplishment!
I don't know what you charge but I am sure it is not enough for something so perfect! truely amazing artwork thanks for sharing!
No preshading, colour modulations, pinwashes, slushwashes, filters, etc etc and simply the best looking scale kingfisher out there... amazing! Sorrie to hear about your cat :(
Flying Dutchman WoT/WoWs Gameplay TV.
Sir, I really appreciate your kind words. As my models are built on the same material of the original -aluminum-, the paint does not need mysterious methods to produce effects. Everything is natural.
Im in awe Rojas, truely spectacular builds. Thanks for all the beauty you have created.
@cashpoboy
Thank you for your kind comment. Wives of those who work at home (like modellers) feel better, haha (well, sometimes I have doubts)...
Stunning, would still be a great understatement😳There is probably no appropriate adjective that would be worthy of this model. I see the pictures, but I can't believe it 😮Such abilities are not from this world ♥
Thank you for the comment, Lars. You can find more photos of this model in this link:

@TGraysChannels
Oh, thanks! I really appreciate your comment!
Mind Blowing detail incredible craftsmanship
Thank you for the comment, Sonny!
Been watching your builds thru lockdown and the craftsmanship and attention to detail is just another level. I like the ones with no music because, let's face it, the workmanship speaks for itself. It also adds to the silent 'mouth agape' appreciation I find myself in. LoL. Inspirational !
Jonathan, thank you so much for the nice comment. Regarding the lack of music, a lot of people think the same; "silent video" in this case is better (also someone always complains about the chosen music; I'm really tired of this). In addition, this way the video is "ad free".
@cackiebongeye
Thank you for your kind comments.
I already built many models in natural aluminum (B-17, YB-17, B-25, P-38, P-51, P-47, Spitfire, KC-130, Bf 190, FW190, etc.etc.). I do not decide if a model is painted or not. Are the costumers which decide about the painting.
Thank you, I really appreciate your words.
This is absolute genius and a far from easy subject either !!
Thank you, sir!
That truly is a work of art . You should be very proud
Thank you, Curt.
Cats make such good companions, sorry for your loss. Love your models, Do you have any plans to build any British medium or heavy bombers?.
@mp4f1
Aaron, very few people would be willing to pay for this kind of model. It is very expensive since I need a whole year (full time) to complete each model. I´m thinking of going back to the 1/24 and 1/40 scales. Thank you for watching my videos!
The absence of music mirrored my awed silence. The perfect way to show your talent.
Thank you Donald. I also think that making these kind of videos without music is better. In addition, there are millions of videos about music.
Incredible! Fantastic museum quality, way to go! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you, sir!
@QBlackDeathQ
Thank you for your kind comment, my friend!
You are truly the master of modlers my friend!!!!!!
ROJAS is the King of Modelers!!!!!
Sir, I really appreciate your kind words. Thank you!
I totally agree!
You truly have a gift. Your work is amazing.

Thank you, Tom
@TheSlick1962
Thank you for your kind comment!
Amazing talent! Thank you for posting!
Thank you, Mike.
I am sorry that you had lost your modeling buddy . As a child ,I had a black lab,he had to leave . Great models of great aircraft , in Metal ,absolutely awesome . Once again , thank you .
You're welcome, Paul. Good memories of our beloved little friends.
@QBlackDeathQ
Yes, they cost several thousand. The prices for copies of these original models are in the company´s website for which I worked for 15 years (see my website).
So what became of the video/tutorial you mentioned on your web site? Will you still produce it or not? I would love to see the actual techniques used on these amazing models.
My greatest desire is to finish my tutorial DVD, but for the time being I have to be employed at my current model because the client waits for it for several months. The model is a Ju87 B1 (you'II love it).
Wow! that's not Modelling, that's a work of art!
Shane, I greatly appreciate your kind words. Thank you.
Amazing model, great work!
Thank you, Fábio.
Absolutely incredible ! Thanks for sharing! - I am speechless!
+BetterAircraftFabric
Thank you, sir!
@vividconcept
Thank you for your comment, my friend. Tomorrow I´ll upload a new video with two ¨all natural metal finishes¨ models (made in 1996) ; the B-25 and P-38.
Outstanding work must taken ages to build but well worth it in the end 10/10 for details.
Thank you, sir.
Absolutely stunning, a true masterpeice.
Seeing this model in it's raw state, it 'almost' seem's a shame to paint over the intricate workmanship. Thank's for sharing.
Simply sublime. Have you ever thought to realize models of the SavoiaMarchetti SM 79 or the Reggiane Re 2005?
True Craftsmanship. Thank you for sharing this video sir!
Thank you, sir!
@myleftnutts
Still built models on request. I have no time to make models for auction. Thank you por your comment!
Dont feel bad, my friend; what I do is a job (I´m a professional model maker). What you do is to have fun through a beautiful hobby.
@CaptnDave69u
Thanks for watching my videos and your kind comments!
Thank you (again) for sharing your Artwork with us....
During WW2 , a land based Kingfisher Squadron VS-60 was based at the US army base Vernam Field, Jamaica 1943 and during their stay their conducted anti-sub patrol and training. One of them dissappeared with it's crew during a training mission one was never found in broud daylight and with other planes of it's squadron flying in the area but no one saw it go down. I tried getting the history of the squadron but it seems as if the squadron never filed but got bits and pieces else wear.
Thank you for the comment, sir.
Scratch another one up for the Bermuda Triangle, eh?
You are SUPER-MAN! Greate!!! (From Russia with LOVE)
Thank you sir (by the way, one of my favorite films of James Bond!).
You, sir, are a rock star! Do you use loops (magnification)? What happens to the models that you build? They go to museums? If you finish your video/DVD tutorial you may get many buyers. Then you wouldn't have to do so many models. Amazing, amazing craftsmanship.
Thank you, Thomas. You can find some information on my web site, link Press > International Press. Most of my models built in America are in private collections, and most that built in Argentina are in local museums.
@stomper12000
I am grateful to you for the emotive words. Mi intention is that modelers can see that in these times of high technology, where almost everything can be bought, good models can still be constructed completely by hand.
@stig99914
I also assemble plastic kits. Then I started to make my own models, first in cardboard, then in wood ad finally in aluminium.
Keep a pair of socks for the next video of the A6M2 Zero (model still under construction).
Thank you for looking at my videos, pal!
Estimado!!
Saludos.
@@rojasbazan Lo espero con ansias!!!!
That is just unbelievable work when you get that DVD made .Ill be in line for one .
I'm working on that, Stevie. Thank you for watching my videos.
Where are you getting the blueprints to build these incredible scale aircraft? If you don't mind telling us....and you may have already answered this.
To build this model and the F4U, Vought Aircraft gave me some drawings many years ago, but most of that kind of information (if any) can be found online. On my new Ju87 video I explain that there are no perfect blueprints; I make my own 3 view plans using different drawings. Thank you for watching, Jeff.
Awesome work ! Sincerest admiration.
+Karl
Thank you, Karl.
rojasbazan
Most welcome Sir.
@Knikebein
Thank you for your comment!
That's better than expert skill. It's savant level skill.
Thank you, Thomas.
An extremely delicate work of art in which each of the parts is beautiful.
The word "creation" is more appropriate than "production".
Every time I see it, I'm invited to a mysterious world.
Sir, I am thankful for your opinion, and I'm glad you enjoy my videos.
@PSPmaster321
About one year.
I sold all my models.
In the future I would like to switch to the 1/24 scale (like the old times). That will let me make more models and dramatically reduce prices.
splendidly done .Chapeau !
Thank you, sir.
@wendykdm
Thank you for your kind comment!
fantastico Guillermo.
Gracias, Guillermo!
Holy Moly.......you Sir are a master craftsman. Incredible work of art. Thanks for this video. I sure hope you have that DVD coming. Again, thanks.
+Barry Winslow
Thank you for the post, Barry (just look it). I am still being employed on that. The problem is that I need almost all my time to construct the models that the clients entrust me. As a professional model maker, I work under great pressure.
+rojasbazan Your welcome......ok, I'll give that a whirl. I'm not sure on the sizes of metal, but that will come with learning I'm sure. I'm a retired A&P mech. Pulled wrenches on Bell 206L's for a EMS company Airevac Lifeteam here in Missouri. So hopefully some of the little skill in sheet metal will help.Awesome job my friend. I understand the pressure. Try to find a little "you time" in the process. :O) Thanks for the chat....it's appreciated greatly.
Wow stunning as all your other videos sir ... When does your CD come out where you show the basics i remember you mentioned it somewhere i would love to buy it
Thank you for the message, sir. I am finished a huge B-24. Before uploading the corresponding video, I am going to edit my first tutorial DVD. I will announce that through an upcoming video and my new website (under construction).
Simply unbelievable!
