gotta be some good desert packrat action going on in that thing! Upside, in that climate, like here in deserts of AZ, that coach has got another 20+ years before it self-implodes.
We took a different view than Jimmy. We'd call the tow company and tell them "our car's too drunk to drive home, and you'll have one passenger". A $50 tow bill later, we'd wake up in our own bed, and our car would be in the driveway. WAY cheaper than a taxi back and forth, and definitely cheaper than a DUI.
Steven Keeffe You gave me one hell of an idea I have been forced into expensive (but great) car insurance, next time I’m driving myself to a bar not any of those taxi/ bus nonsense. And when I want to go home I’ll just rekt a tire, call a tow truck get a new tire and drive home 24/7 and I already have paid for it either way.
Yea, somewhere we lived (think it was Anchorage Alaska) did that and advertised on the radio as such. Your drunk and we'll pick you and your car up and bring them home for a flat rate.. Suppose it was MUCH better and more lucrative than picking up the pieces from drunks who drove and crashed as not every drunk will crash but if they all call the tow truck $$
must be more tow services than taxis in your area, 60-100$ is the average short distance easy tow here and taxis are 7-8$ for about a 5-10 min drive and 25$ from downtown which is about 30 mins worth a lil extra to wake up without the anxiety of finding your car though
Drive line or prop shaft (short for propeller shaft in the Uk), I was a truck mechanic working for ExxonMobil for five years, before moving to ExxonMobil Refinery, Southampton, Uk for 30 years as a Process Leader in the Refinery , ran the offsites operation from a massive control room,. Loved every minute of it, apart from the 13 hour night shifts, and Christmas days!
When you're in soft ground you need to start moving with the front wheels straight. Every time when you got in trouble it was because the wheels were cut. You've got a really tight cut angle with that truck which is great but its like a brake when you go to start moving. Let it move, even an inch BEFORE you turn the wheel.
It's amazing how worthless in general heavier duty trucks are off-road. Any two wheel drive passenger car with bald tires could make that turn. Front wheel drive or rear wheel drive.
You might not know computers, but man, you have an amazing mind!! You think in a way many of us can’t! I’m always blown away with what you come up with!! Keep up the awesome, friendly, hard work you do! 🤓God bless!!🙏🏼🕊

This was one of the most amusing ones to date!! Man, I loved that elderly woman!! She was good stuff, and knew her horses. This might seem like a small thing, but big ups to you Matt, for taking that Lifesaver from Jimmy! I was ashamed that your cameraman refused it. He didn't have to eat it, but accept an offering with grace, like Matt did!! It is my hope that I get to meet Matt and Ed in my lifetime. I wish I knew about you when I was living in Kingman, AZ a few years ago. I was through Hurricane several times, on business. I would have driven up on my days off, just to meet everyone, especially Ed. I have been Mapquesting the distance now. I am about 20 hours away, across the country. Would it be weird to plan a vacation just to get to have a short conversation with Ed? I am considering it!!
I really appreciate the fact that you don't take your surroundings for granted. When the guy helping with the brake cylinder asked if the call you got was going to be an all day thing, you said "yeah but you'll see some county" was cool.
I drove a flat bed in Sacramento California for many years. There was a program called "tipsy tow" that a few tow companies would help out with on new years eve and now I belive they doit for two or three more holidays now but if you drank to much you would call a number that the bar had on the counter top and a tow truck would come get your car and yourself of course 44⁴and take you home free of charge!! Lots of DUI's and crashes happen because the person did not want to leave their car somewhere so this was a pretty cool option to have. And for free to I mean come on!! I could go on for hours with some of the rather interesting stories that would take place just on new years eve alone doing that job!! Anyway thanks to the people that created the tipsy tow and thank you Jimmy for helping out and keeping the streets a little safer for everyone!!
That's what I call serious good service that customer thought it was some magic to just put that thing wherever you want with ease. Picked the right guy to do it.

The first Matt's towing video I've ever seen. But it wasn't till I saw the yellow banana in action that I got hooked on your channel lol. Thanks for all the awesome content matt
An 80 year old friend of mine crawled under his trailer house last year and ended up being bitten by something. The doctors weren't sure if it was a brown recluse or what it was, but the bite on his ankle took regular visits to a wound doctor for about 5 months until it finally healed up. It was a mess, they had to keep cutting and scraping away around the bite until he had a good size hole in his ankle. You might not have ever gotten bitten by something dangerous YET, but someday will come if you keep pressing your luck 👍
Watched a long flatbed tow truck driver try to flip a u-turn at the top of a mountain, off to the side of the road there was a ditch and he backed into it and the back tires were floating off the ground while the front tires and flatbed sat on the ground. Driver hopped out of the truck, extended the flatbed, and pushed himself out of the hole with the bed before i could offer help, this video reminded me a lot of that experience 😂
There's a guy in town that has a yellow Jeep that is good at getting people unstuck. You should have called him.

Suppose it was MUCH better and more lucrative than picking up the pieces from drunks who drove and crashed as not every drunk will crash but if they all call the tow truck $$
must be more tow services than taxis in your area, 60-100$ is the average short distance easy tow here and taxis are 7-8$ for about a 5-10 min drive and 25$ from downtown which is about 30 mins
worth a lil extra to wake up without the anxiety of finding your car though
AAA membership gets you 4 free tows per year
Drive line or prop shaft (short for propeller shaft in the Uk), I was a truck mechanic working for ExxonMobil for five years, before moving to ExxonMobil Refinery, Southampton, Uk for 30 years as a Process Leader in the Refinery , ran the offsites operation from a massive control room,.
I bet you are glad you brought Jimmy. You probably could not have done it without all his help. He sure worked hard. 😉
He was always sitting down haha..bt he made us happy so he was important i guess 😁
This was the first ever MORR Video I watched and what got me hooked! It’s amazing to see how far they have come, hitting 1,000,000 subscribers just the other day!!
Wow, what a character, touched my heart to hear his story. Love to watch your videos, very interesting and sometimes quite stressful to watch , some of the situations had me sitting up and tensing my stomach as if it will help you......but it is all cool, thanks
I loved Jimmy giving directions. This whole video is great.
Ikr those life savers are actually my favorite
Sometimes when you try a little more just get it right it bites you but we always get out of it that’s what makes the story great job
That RV is clean for its age
Love your videos, wish all tow truck drivers were as kind and patient as you are sir!
Ol jimmy signature glasses with his blue/green chums
I really appreciate the fact that you don't take your surroundings for granted. When the guy helping with the brake cylinder asked if the call you got was going to be an all day thing, you said "yeah but you'll see some county" was cool.
Also no fear that a vehicle could drop on top of you
I drove a flat bed in Sacramento California for many years. Anyway thanks to the people that created the tipsy tow and thank you Jimmy for helping out and keeping the streets a little safer for everyone!!
you wernt stuck just tractionaly challanged
Awesome comment !!
The new videos are so much more polished. Love this old content, shows your roots.
You should invest in some maxtrax. Keep some on the truck to help for this very situation and makes recoveries a whole lot easier.
At 5:45 awesome backing up skills and manuvering you can tell this guy here has towing experience. Nice work !!! 👍
A slice of real life.. Nothing fancy but interesting and fun
That's what I call serious good service that customer thought it was some magic to just put that thing wherever you want with ease. Picked the right guy to do it.
Make sure to post the video of Matt singing karaoke!
Drinking water and towing everyone home.
You're a patient man! And a kind one to boot. Well done! :)
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DON’T BRING ED ALONG.
Ed could have spoke their language.
"Want me to drive it?" I have a pretty good idea who would make it into Matt's top 3 personalities that have ever appeared on the channel ! LMAO 🤣 Oh and Matt, stop driving so out of control, especially when you're in someone's backyard and it's your own truck you're driving! 😂
Notification gang here just stopping by to show my support for the channel. Keep the videos coming I love them man👍👍
I have to comment...that old man saying "reckless driver" when you hit the rocks around the tree and that sweet lady that defended you...she is awesome...the way you stayed so calm you must have real good blood pressure. Awesome video and also thumbs up.
Neat use of the wheel lift.
Matt you are too good of a person! Those people you help are blessed to have a.person.like you in that area that cares! Besafe out there
This guy seems to be a good man.. you wouldn't believe the old people that get took advantage of by the younger guys!
Jimmy Aint right lol, every town has one :P
The first Matt's towing video I've ever seen. But it wasn't till I saw the yellow banana in action that I got hooked on your channel lol. Thanks for all the awesome content matt
Didn’t that old guy used to play in westerns as the drunk? LOL
yup good ol' jimmy ''jack' Elam
An 80 year old friend of mine crawled under his trailer house last year and ended up being bitten by something. The doctors weren't sure if it was a brown recluse or what it was, but the bite on his ankle took regular visits to a wound doctor for about 5 months until it finally healed up. It was a mess, they had to keep cutting and scraping away around the bite until he had a good size hole in his ankle. You might not have ever gotten bitten by something dangerous YET, but someday will come if you keep pressing your luck 👍
You done well to get out of there. 👍🦘🇳🇿
man.. the patience you have...Respect.
When Motorhomes become homes. I could have watched an hour of this!
