This is honestly my favourite MCU TV-show. Kate is great and the dynamic between her and Clint is fantastic. Don't have much to say about the villains, but seeing them work off each other kept me entertained all the way through. And MAJOR props for not turning Kate into some overpowered Mary Sue who never failed and didn't have a thing to learn from the "old man". She failed SPECTACULARLY a good amount of times and learned from it or from Clint trying to teach her.

I'm so glad they pointed out the similarities between this and Arrow because Eleanor Bishop really gave me Moira Queen vibes (and both their kids are archer vigilantes lol)
I actually loved this show! It was nice to get a break from the more crazy world ending threats of the movies and have a more grounded comic book story that still had loads of action and was a ton of fun. AND I loved that Clint actually communicated with people to explain things instead of the usual stupid convoluted problems that usually occur in stories like this where so many problems could be solved by just talking. And it was nice getting a look at his life. Him, Thor and Banner are the only remaining OG avengers and Thor is off world and who knows what Banner is up to. And that montage showing how he damaged his hearing was so good. He's been through some stuff and he is still human so it was nice to see some consequences.

True respect for Hawkeye. Imagine Hawkeye and Scarlet have zero superpowers have to rely 100% on skill but still hold their own against aliens guards and hydra right alongside every avenger with a power or technological wonder.
Seriously, this was a great series and the Kingpin appearance just made the world excited about the others from the Netflix world going to be making appearances.
Kingpin was the worst part of the show, the plot begins because he send the TM to steal the watch, but it's never stated why does it matter to him at all, in the end it didn't look like he care about the watch. Also Clint is the one that since ep 3 is worried about him knowing about the situation and the 2 of them never interact at all.
Imagine having no superpowers, no high tech full body armour, just a fucking bow and arrow and still fight killer robots, gods and aliens. That's actually boss level badass

He's not my favorite, but I've got huge respect for him. It's easy going into battle, knowing you're basically indestructible. I liked that they showed the toll it took on him.
Sorry, but this was my favorite of all the Disney MCU spin-off series. It was fun to watch, with a good sense of humor and a pair of protagonists whose on-screen chemistry didn't seem forced (unlike F/WS and Loki/chick-Loki). The action was decent, and the plot and characters' motivations made sense. Plus, we got to see what it would've felt like to get Blipped. I'm not going to see a Hawkeye movie without Jeremy Renner, but I enjoyed this show while it lasted. Wish it were longer.
What!!! F/ws and two Loki’s connections were not forced!!! They were just inherently more tense than Clint and bishop, so can’t really be compared. And those shows had more tension too, Hawkeye was like a superhero homelaone, more campy. Other shows were waaay more dramatic although had their silly moments. And the main chemistry was own Wilson and Loki which was great
Hawkeye isn't the problem. The stakes of this show were just incredibly lame compared to what could be done with the character. Clint is a veteran operative with decades of redacted craziness that could be explored. The consequences of him going all Frank Castle for a couple years is really not that interesting.
When I first heard of Hawkeye, I thought it would be bad for basically being a xmas movie (sliced into several parts) but it was actually good. Way better than Falcon and the Wintersoldier...
Liked the series, was descent enough of a watch. But damn, Florence stole every scene once again. She’s easily the best thing to come out of phase 4. Can’t wait to see more of her going forward.

The thing to remember about Hawkeye is that he was a top SHIELD agent for years before Tony Stark started playing with a box of scrap in a cave. We're talking one of Nick Fury's personal troubleshooters.
Like Arrow?
Clint and Natasha were SHIELD operatives that specialized in wetwork years before Tony Stark had his change of heart. Clint didn't need a tragic origin story or branding to be a hero, just a good heart and the willingness to kill the right people.
The only thing wrong with the series is that Kingpin didn’t commit murder by car door in it.

@Trevor Dennis The same way a professional golfer can blindly reach into his bag and grab the desired club. The arrows are probably secured and don't rattle around in the quiver.
@Trevor Dennis Well, it's not like his arrows are cartoonish in the movies. They're most anti-armor and explosive arrows, with the occasional trick arrows like tasers and knockout gas. Hawkeye isnt super diverse with his munitions. They're probably positioned for access and the fetchings are probably different. Or maybe he's just been doing this so long he has a perfect setup.

Agree I liked seeing what happened to Yelena getting snapped
