These videos aren't that bad; but if you love a good story teller and Kenshi you should look up ambiguousamphibian and his Torsolo series.

You deserve more viewers, lol. Your videos are always hilarious and entertaining the entire way through.
If you want to train van damme well, you should give him armour that reduces his martial arts bonus, so he gains xp faster and give him a wakizashi to train his dex allowing him to swing his fists at light speed, after that his damage scales with strength. Sensei and some of the others could do with some dex training aswell, other than that, loving the series.
I don’t believe negative debuffs actually give an xp bonus but they do make fights last longer since less damage so it will be more effective.
Van Damme already lacking in strength for his martial art skill, just a little bit of damage to his core bring him bellow his required 47 strength (because of level 59 martial arts). Playing it 100% optimally isn't required though and martial arts characters are busted anyway. Van Damme is doing just fine.

the reason that assault happened is because you recruited Eyegore into your squad, the game considers him ALIVE (or OKAY, in game terms)
Even if he is allied towards you, the game won't be able to tell the difference between an allied Eyegore and an alive Eyegore, and any events/worldstates that are related to him, the game will consider as default, because he is not imprisoned/dead.
I'm assuming that's the recruitable prisoners mod you're using to recruit him (Idek cuz I've never made it that far into the game yet), which is the 1 limitation of it when it comes to world states and all
YOU CAN, however, recruit a normal Hiver, edit him to look like Eyegore, open the modding tool, edit his stats to be similar to Eyegore's, and just have that random Hiver as a substitute for the real Eyegore so the game will continue as if he's actually been defeated/incorportated in ur squad.

Note on the driving story... in the first few minutes of rain the oils in the road lift making it extra slippery, and high traffic areas will accumulate more of these oils

Pretty sure you can’t get crab amour until you are allied with them. Only way to ally with them is to beat them in the crab tournament lol
There's an easy way to get the tech hunters neutral again. Just beat them up and heal them up. Trust me, it works. I get the "no longer hostile" message with the dust bandit training dummies all the time. My squad is in good standing with the hungry bandits too.
Or you could install an additional pacifiers mod instead.

You need to talk to their leader in the big house in the middle, she is called crab queen i think but anyway when you talk to her you will become allies and then you will be able to buy crab armor
I had a similiar fall with my scooter a few months ago in a rainy day in rome. The road was one of those damned ones paved with "sanpietrini" (sort of stone tiles) that become incredibly slippery when it rains. As I turned a corner my back wheel slipped and I had a near identical fall and slide on my ass. Slight pain in my arm and leg for a couple of days, a few scratches on the scooter.
Damn those slippery roads. Hope you're doing good 👍🏻
