ZC was an effort to take a zinc and knock it down to 150 FPS without losing the efficiency that I've been able to pull out of the design. This was the length it landed at.
The reason for the aluminum plunger tube is due to how McMaster Carr sells the polycarb material in 8 foot chunks and wants to charge an arm and a leg to ship it. The aluminum is more consistent ID and cheaper in the quantities I order it in.
Glad you've enjoyed it. I'll be putting your review on my shop page.
Can confirm the ZC is a fantastic little pistol, love using it!
The lore of this thing from what I’ve seen is “I’m trying to make the performance significantly lower by shortening it but every time I shorten it I still can’t get it low enough”
accurate
this was attempt #4 or something stupid like that
I have the ZNC, and it hits 180. Moose’s designs are awesome!
Sweet little blaster. Thank you for the video. Take care
Nice review dude! Sweet blaster!
Great video!
Nice video😊
Cool gun
I was thinking about you guys the other, and now here you are 😋
Doing well. I was thinking about you too as I've done a major cleaning, and organization of my Nerf room. Your artwork is a major part of it btw. Hope you've been doing all right. I know you've had some health issues so I hope things are getting better.
@@NaptownNerf love to see pictures when the Nerf room is organized. Something we all claim to be doing LoL. Currently laid up again 😔 but get to alot of older YT!
Dude i want one. Hope frontlinefoam works with moose to carry this since frontlinefoam said they are the main provider of zinc hardware kits.
iv been wanting to build one of these
Do it!
Nice little blaster. Tbh, the lower fps isn't really going to be an issue. Especially in a pistol. -20 fps is only about 10 feet less range fired parallel to the ground.
Lower FPS is literally the point of the design. It also just happened to make it that much smaller in the process.
@@MisplacedMoose Good, I sometimes feel that fps isn't all it's cracked up to be. Unless you're a sniper.
@@FelixstoweFoamForge Heh
You should see my other designs then. This is my backup for the people who somehow get too close.
I'll wait for the injection moulded one
I would honestly be impressed when someone steals this to make it injection molded. Of all the different flavors, this one could use it.
But I'd also expect it to get like 70 FPS unless they really figure out why it works so well.
@MisplacedMoose
What do you mean, steal?
@@runkurgan see what happened to the Ehdrian's gecko as an example. Usually to get injection molded, a Chinese company steals it and tries to mass produce it.
I can virtually guarantee you that I'm not going to be going the injection molded route with the zinc, and neither is 118 design. If you see one, it's a stolen design.
It’s a Nerf Makarov
looks a bit like the tf2 pistol
this looks so sickkkkk
