Super cute, practical, easy to sew, scrap buster idea Deanna! Will have to make a few for some of my family members/ friends for Christmas! Thanks for sharing!! Another great tutorial! You got this teaching thing down woman! Congrats on the growth of your channel! I told you it was gonna blossom quickly and that it has! Look where you were at 6 weeks ago to where you are today! Be proud of yourself and where you will be going! Your a great inspiration to so many of us here on YT!
This popped up today. I need this. Been thinking of searching pinterest but haven't had time. Lol. You're a good teachet.teacher. I'm always late to the party 🥳
I first saw these this morning and so far I've made 3 of them. All the time trying to figure out what I could use instead of rice that was washable. When my husband came home we talked about it. He suggested I might be able to use some small pea gravel. I'll have to go to the store tomorrow and get some. I will let you know how it comes out. TFS I really think my family will love these.
Hello Deanna! These are really nice and practical too! I think they will sell very well at your craft fair! I don't sew a lot, but I think I could make these! They would make nice co worker gifts. Thanks for sharing. I hope you have a great day!
This is adorable!!!! I love how it turned out. Great gift idea. I just wanted to mention I too have a very supportive hubby and loves that I enjoy crafting! I just got into cake decorating and he has REALLY enjoyed that :). I love your videos.
I just found your channel and I hit the subscribe button! I have looked at many tuts for this and I have got to say you're is THE best! Especially that you demo'd this with a directly fabric! You rock!
I was also thinking about these last year and made some for gifts . Not sure that mine were as easy, liked the Pellon , which I did not use ! I believe I will revamp using the Pellon. Thanks for sharing, they look great !!
I just made two of the phone holders for 2 teenage neices. OMG! They came out adorable. I think you started something with these. Now, my daughter in law wants one. I think these will be a winner for Christmas presents. Thank you so much for such a cute idea. I hope you do great with these at your craft fair! I would definetyly ask $10.00 at least, they are adorable.
Great video and great gift...if your making them for gifts i would use a smaller needle and do a more hidden stich so it doesn't show ...or you can use steam a seam or fabric tac
These are AWESOME!!!! Deanna.. Tyvmfs. They reminded me of making hand warmers. With the rice in them. Just a FYI.. you can get 3 pounds of rice at Dollar Tree for $1. Comes out even cheaper then Costcos price. 😀 tyfs!!!
I made some in Houston Astros and Houston Texans fabric and they are super cute but I think I'm going to try fabric gluing the openings closed because it's so time consuming to sew them close enough together so the rice doesn't come out and I don't like how I can see the stitching so I'm gonna try that, thanks, you made it so easy
Great instructional video! I love this! My daughter and I were just talking about seeing if we coujd make sonething like this. We are both new to sewing, so looking for simple projects. This is perfect! Subscribed to see what other neat projects you have.
These would be great for a craft show! I think I will had a loop on the top that you could run your charger through my charger is always falling off my nightstand. For people that are planning on selling these what do you feel is a fair price to sell them for?
I love these and have watched several tutorials. These are very nice & they sit up straighter than some which I like. I would like to sell these. How much do you think they could sell for? Thank you!
Great job...I've made myself one of these and love it...don't know what happened to it...going to have to make another one ...I'm sure you could get $10.00 for these....there great Xmas gifts too....tfs
I make these all the time but leave one end open instead of across the front so the stitching doesn't show. Also leave a small opening in the center at the top so hand stitching is minimal. Don't use Pellon or anything else and works perfectly fine.
OMG, I could actually see your imaginary line! lol Great video! I tried a different video about this, and the bag wouldn't hold my iPhone upright. I'm going to try this one. Thanks.
I was new to You Tube last fall. I love this and want to put this item into my craft fair into my items this year. How did they sell lest year? I think I would be charging about $9.00 each this year. I think each item is worth the individual price. You could sell them for $2/ them at $2/$16.00.I know I'm a year behind the times. I really do like this item along with the chicken pin cushion. All 3 of these items are super cute and look great for items.
fun idea...was looking for a quick and simple project to create for friends..this fits the bill...was wondering...what do you think filling it with scented Epsom salts?
Hi! I believe I purchased one of these from you at the craft fair at Augusta Civic Center. Id love to purchase another one! Are they available to order online?
Excellent idea I have some Polly pellets I’m gonna use I might just weight the bottom and Polly full the top and possibly use some muslin or broadcloth to line it with. Now to figure the measurements for my tablet. Cause watching my tablet in bed gets tricky sometimes no more propping it up and having it slide around. Thanks
i have searched around to find a tutorial for this that is one piece of fabric.. i would advise that you actually use either the Styrofoam beans for bean bags or even better is MI Poly-Pellets Stuffing Beads which is plastic and can be washed.. so you don't have issues if it gets wet or dirty you can throw it in the washer with cold water and let it air dry...thanks for the video
I totally agree. If you have the pellets or beans the is no need for the flat bit either. Here is a great tutorial that shows sizes etc. ua-cam.com/video/oPxr8Poibw4/v-deo.html
Thanks, for sharing this cute phone holder.❤🎉🎉🎉🎉

Absolutely adorable, will try this.
so cute! I think putting the interfacing strip in is good. Besides rice, you could use Plastic Pellets
That bag is too expensive
Just made my first one thanks for the tutorial 😁
A wooden skewer would probably be good to use in the funnel to get the rice to go down easier
Super cute,love them
Rubye Wiggins thanks!
This is wonderful. I need one for.my phone. And have not been able to find one. $7 I would pay that.
I loved this video thank you so much! I already made one! I wish I could upload a picture!
Melissa Gaumer yay!!! I am glad u made one!! I bet it turned out beautiful!!

I need to add this to my craft fair as well! And figure out the dimensions for a tablet one too!
Sometimes, I will buy an inexpensive pillow at Walmart and it is so much cheaper than buying the polyfil..
Came across your channel today. Super doper cute ideas. Love this. Instead of the Pellon could you use heavy chipboard? What are your thoughts on it?
Yes! That would work!
fun idea...was looking for a quick and simple project to create for friends..this fits the bill...was wondering...what do you think filling it with scented Epsom salts?
Hi! I believe I purchased one of these from you at the craft fair at Augusta Civic Center. Id love to purchase another one! Are they available to order online?
I have never been to the Augusta Civic center so sorry
Which Pellon interfacing did you use?
Excellent idea
I have some Polly pellets I’m gonna use
I might just weight the bottom and Polly full the top and possibly use some muslin or broadcloth to line it with.
Now to figure the measurements for my tablet. Cause watching my tablet in bed gets tricky sometimes no more propping it up and having it slide around.
Thanks
Love it!
You do have to consider the expense of adding the rice too.
Thanks, Deanna. I think you should charge $10; that's what I am going to charge.
Elaine Bruno thank u!
