- A quick, but hard hitting storm moves over northwest Denver and dumps 1.34 inches of rain in less than 45 minutes. It resulted in urban flooding across parts of the area, including here at 80th and Chase about a block west of Sheridan.

Standing in a median recording people drive through water is hardly storm chasing. And the only casualty seems to be the Audis rear bumper coming loose. What did I learn? Drivers in Denver DGAF.
Some people just don't understand this could really mess up your car if water get sucked in the engine can Hydro lock .

The faster the better, depends on how high the water is. From going faster, it stops the water from getting up under the motor, the tires move the water upwards, that's why you can see the road in the middle of the car after it gets out of the water. The tires move it outwards.
If water level hits the hood 99% it's sucking water in thru air intake couple seconds and air box fills up and hydro damage to the engine, puff.... (Cold air intake you are doomed) keep below front grill

I'm a Volunteer Firefighter and I know that should have been shut down. Because of the flooded roads, it's a safety risk.
@TamiyaRunner thats because smart people know that flying through it in there car can flood there intake. you go for it with your car next time you see a flooded road tell me how it turns out.
three month later half denver was in for a wheel bearing replacement
