This is such a fun and happy song. I love the old time feel to it. Queen was never a band to stay inside of a box, they just loved music, all music. Thank you for your reaction.
This is an AMAZING side of Freddie that is not seen that often. AMAZING pianist.....such an incredible talent, taken from us much too soon. RIP my dear Freddie..........you are missed so much, and truly loved.
Aweome reaction! You should listen to the studio version. This is very difficult song to perform live, and the video quality is somewhat old. The studio version of this is amazing. It is one of Queen's best songs.
Dreamer’s Ball, Jealousy, My Melancholy Blues, Seaside Rendezvous, Death on Two Legs, God Old Fasioned Lover Boy, so many great album tracks! Studio lyric versions recommended (Millionaire Waltz, also, a lot is missing in the live version). Thanks.
For Queen or any great artists try the studio version and then live. Especially if the first time you listening to the song, just to know the lyric and what not. You won't be disappointed with Queen enhanced live version (Live in Montreal, live Aid, 1986 Wembley)
It's a fun version, but in this specific case, the studio version should come first imo. ;) There are so many tiny things they couldn't reproduce live exactly. (Freddie also has to select lower voice lines partially, like he tends to do if it's just too high to reproduce in live conditions.)
Interesting Inna, to see and hear a Queen song, which I had not heard before. And I'm a music collector, everything from Classic Masters to 2000s music, even if there's not much I like about today's music. I prefer music from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. But, I thought, that you might want to hear partly Italian music as well? A very famous and popular artist was called Dean Martin (actually his real name was Dino Paul Crocetti). He was born in the United States, but his father was an Italian immigrant. And Dino (as he was usually called) did many TV shows in the 50s, 60s and 70s and movies as well. He mostly sang in English, but he also made songs in Italian or partially Italian as well. Such as "Volare Nel Blu Di Pinto Di Blu", "That's Amore", "Luna Mezzo Mare", "Bella Bimba", "Mambo Italiano" and "Arrivederci, Roma". Then there are many other Italian artists and groups as well. Good work, keep it up. 😉❤
Queen was the best band EVER. Their versatility is unmatched, and Freddie was a magical being.

This kind of song shows the real magy of Queen. I'm so glad you reacted to it and you liked it.

Two four time waltz?....Queen are a genre themselves......all kinds of tempos...rhythms...you name it, they played it🤩
A waltz in 2/4 time would only take two-thirds of the time to play! 🎶
check the studio version
I have always liked Freddy playing the piano.
