Hey bro, I'm working with the same scenario but the inner wheel panel is damaged pretty bad bottom left right behind the wheel. Would you ever section a piece like that the way you sectioned the quarter panel or would you just replace? It's the only thing holding me back from putting the new quarter on. Appreciate the advice.
Hi I have a question to ask you, usually how long it take for you to order the quarter pannel part from dealer? what the short time and the longest time for the quarter pannel?
Would you be able to tell is mine is fixable , I could send you pictures if you would like , I don’t know if i can pull it out or id have to replace the quarter Patel . If you could please help me I’d appreciate it . 🙏🏽
@@AutoWizard94 my 2017 gt was hit in same spot. Inner and outer quarter panels to be removed and new ones installed . A prestige body shop down here in Australia are telling me it will take 4 weeks working on it everyday . The shop are authorised to fix BMW and Other high end cars.obviously they just feeding me bullshit

How did you pinch the arch lip on the new quarter panel? I am in the process of doing the same thing right now ! Thanks
I hammer and dolly along side a tool that helps me fold the lip

About 5k roughly , it varies depending on the severity of the impact

Just depends, sometimes they have it in stock, sometimes parts are back ordered. It really just calling around and asking
