Couldn't have picked a better actor to play Edward V1, Oliver Zetterstrom is an excellent promising young actor, the whole cast is wonderful, best series I've seen in ages, one I will watch several times. Just superb.
This was hands down one of the best portrayals of Edward VI ever. For his age, he was steely and determined, and from all accounts he was someone to be feared, just like his father.
What an intense scene! And wonderful dialogue; as always, France and Scotland causing caos on internal debates lol. And Edward was just savage here! Thanks for posting Lili!
most definitely. seymour grew arrogant, controlling even of his nephew. at this point, edward vi was already of sane control and power. the idea of edward vi getting superceded by his uncle's greed is unforgivable. especially knowing that mary was dedicated to his brother, even with her catholic faith, she would not lie to him and was right to tell her brother about it. edward seymour is done.
Tudor Edward VI: why the forgotten Tudor king had the makings of a monster The son Henry VIII always wanted is often maligned as a sickly child - but does he deserve this reputation? A classic argument between a young king and the lord protector.

The scenes with the male actors are great in this; the ones with the actresses (particularly Elizabeth) are often flat. I don't know why.
