I’m currently an amateur photographer, but it’s definitely a hobby I’ve fell in love with, it’s nice to see that you are also into photography. I enjoy landscape and wildlife photography, at the moment I currently have the Canon 2000D, not a bad camera for a beginner such as myself. Nice review! I went from a D5 to the Q3 now that my kids are grown up. Waited 8 months from B&H, love it.!

I used a Sinar 8x10 and loved it, the 2 point focus was a brilliant design.

Lol, jeg skal også sælge min goe solide Toyota klassiker, så jeg kan købe mere Leica gear 😄 og Q3 er virkelig noget der trækker, men en go Leica tele til min SL2 vejer mere… uanset valget får man som regel enormt meget glæde ud af deres produkter, de gror bare mere på en end andre mærker 👌 har før haft Canon i flere år, derefter Fujifilm og nu Leica…
Ja helt enig ...Leica kan noget og kun min kærlighed til Hasselblad kan matche det. Jeg har desværre ikke en Toyota klassiker jeg kan sælge 😆 ellers ville jeg nok købe en M10 monocrome. Tak for din kommentar ...dejligt at hører fra dig og godt at skrive på dansk indimellem. Mvh Tom

Hi, do get a Leica Thumbs Up for your Q3, it's very comfortable.
Have great fun with your Leica camera, it's an amazing tool with a wonderful lens.
I bought both thumb and hand grip and returned them both. The thumb fits fine on the built-in thumb rest. I like the slimness and feel of the body as is. It’s already heavy so I prefer mine minimalist.

I’m a Leica M user and thought the Q3 would be fine to use. After a few months, I realised that the fixed 28mm was too limiting and sold it. Most of my photos are taken using a 50mm; yes, you can take a photo with the Q3 and heavily crop it but it just wasn’t for me.
I undersand ... but Iv'e come to love the 28 mm ...it challenge my creativity, and make me look different on my motives. Thanks for your feedback, that means a lot to me. Tom
To an extent I agree. 28mm is very limiting and although the crop options partly mitigate the limitation, give me a 35mm or 40mm lens any day. However, in most situations I can cope fine with 28 [actually nearer 24mm field of view with this lens] but I chose my camera according to what I think I’ll need that day and half the time it will not be the Leica Q.

I think also about it but I wonder if it’s a good idea if I want to photograph people. You always have to stand in front of the person. 🤔 Hm. But it’s a beautiful device. No doubt about that. Bye

I think if Leica makes a "Q"-model with Leica M-mount, an excellent joystick and a built-in stabilizer in the Camera, then it will be close to a perfect Camera.
Yeah you could be right...but the Q has a build in stabilizer in the lens... Tom
@@TomSondergaardPhotography I know, but you cannot change the Lens with another Lens on the Q3, so not a Camera for me.

You probably mean used original Q and rather carelessly used Q2 models?
Yeah I guess that must be the reason. I don't think Leica will sell them at half prize anywhere.

@@arsulaksono881 In the UK these are selling at from £3200 to £3500 in excellent to as-new condition. The few rougher ones are selling for no less than £2800. I believe that they sold new for around £4200, so very nice ones have lost £500 to £700 in value so an average of a fifth, 20% depreciation at retail.
How ironic. I sold my Leica and spent it on a Harley D. Such is life.

It’s not really overpriced compared to say a Canon R5 and L series lens though is it. It’s similarly priced to any other FF 60 megapixel camera with a top quality wide aperture prime lens. It’s good value in my opinion.
