Panhead Dave here, the wiring diagram in the HD manual is extremely easy to read, and it's simple to only use the areas you need, the color codes are universal to Harleys for decades, a couple of circuit breakers and relays, and away you go, helpful hint, wire the starter relay with the ground side of the switch side of the relay to the neutral switch, (ya don't wanna start any Harley in gear, it WILL take off!)
@@guywilsonwelding Oh I think it's fantastic but at 6' 9 tall and 267 lbs I don't think I would be able to enjoy it the same way others like yourself could. I really appreciate the excellent work and your fabrication skills. I too am a builder & fabricator. I just build things a bit bigger than most if I plan to use it personally 😁
Your doing a great job mad love the work. I was wondering if doing a project similar to this but as an electric would that even be worth it. Like your seems like it’s going to rip around but with the weight to the whole project
The battery is relocated to the rear to off set the weight of the engine in front. It's offset to the left to counter the weight of the exhaust and carburetor on the right.

Another fantastic video Guy!! Do you have a schematic of how you laid out the wiring?
I want that in Golf Cart form . And the Sound LOVE !!!!
Holy crap that’s badass. Subscribed!
I would like to build one but in a larger scale where I can fit . Fun looking little beast
A few people have built the full size roadster, same setup. This one wound up this size because the side car body was donated to me.

Thanks. It depends on what electric power it would have. That would also determine how much battery weight it has.
Why is your underwear by the battery?
