Phenomenal job on this one! The filming and editing is great! I love the fact you guys were able to see a C3 on the road! Perfect time of the day for the video. I thought for sure you'd get a shot of the pop-around headlights...Maybe on the next video you can shoot that and get a little more tire smoke. 🙂 So glad you guys were able to have some fun with it!
Thank you so much!!! Yeah the timing was perfect! I don’t know how I forgot to get a shot of the pop up lights that was one of the shots I was planning on but somehow I forgot all about it😂 thanks again for letting me make this video on your car and thanks for watching!!!
My wife and I have the exact same C4, "LORVET the Corvette", right down to the "Salad Shooter" wheels! She does have the 700R4 automatic trans though so not quite the same visceral driving experience, but fun nonetheless. Thanks for making this cool vid that showcases a very special and good looking automobile! God bless!
That’s awesome!!! I love the salad shooter wheels! 😂 never heard that for them before but it totally fits haha. Thanks so much for the comment means a lot!! I’m so glad I could make a video on it and share it with fellow car lovers!!!
Keep your foot on the gas, Grant. Nice work. I agree this car is underrated! I always thought the way the speedo and RPM display worked made it feel so "techy" for it's time
Great video!! I have an 88 35th Anniversary car that I’ve owned for over 22 years. Took it out earlier today and it me sends back in time during the 80’s!!
That’s my year and my colors (red on red); had to make do w/ the 4spd auto, though…manuals are just so hard to find on C4s in general and L98s specifically. I love it to death and have the receipts to prove it. This one looks to be in as good a shape, so I know its owner feels the same way. Nice job on this video 👍
80s and 90s cars are just another breed! The general design language reminds me of the 80s designed Volvo 480 turbo which is the predecessor to my C30, what with the pop up headlights and the silhouette. Our Volvo 850 which is a 90s car also is just a beast with the 5 cylinder turbo! I really have to make a video with that thing again soon... Really nice cinematography in the start!
Absolutely!!! I love those old Volvos too! (You definitely have to make another video on yours 😂) thank you so much! I really look up to your cinematography so that means a TON!!! I try to get a little better with each video and I think it’s working lol thanks again for watching!
Haha that is true but if you find someone that already knows exactly how to do those donuts and burnouts and a nice open space, it’s 10x cooler than a new car doing the same thing but I agree with you that most people shouldn’t even try
@@JustGrant25Can't argue with that, brother. My comment was meant in good spirit but came across a bit obnoxious and out of line. Thanks for the great content. 🤜💥🤛
Add me ill add u im restoring an 88 c4 made it threw a mayjor forest fire house burnt 20 feet from the car insurance wanted to write it off cost to much for a shop to fix they pay me 9k
In my opinion, the best looking vette ever made.mabey because I grew up in the 80,s and had friends that owned them.
Honestly I agree with you I find that kind of funny because because it seems most people dislike the c4 because of it looks but it’s so cool!
I feel the same way great looking car!

Very cool video. I have a black '89 convertible. I enjoy it so much.
That was amazing, Grant. You have a very nice neighbor. Love your enthusiasm. ❤
I have the same year vette with the zf6. 89 is the last year of the digital dash, 1st 6spd. Great car.
Dude this was absolutely insane! Awesome video! Also love this car, one of my favorites
Thanks man!!! Yeah it’s definitely an awesome car!!

Haha thanks! the display is just so cool!!
Super sweet video, G! Love the 80s vibe. What a nice neighbor to trust you with a corvette. 👍🏼

That is so cool!!!! I bet it’s even more fun to drive when you’ve had it for so long and really get tired know the car!

That’s sick! 👍
Thanks man!!
is 3000e for one in bad condition but with working engine okay for this car, ive seen them go to quite high prices
I love the C4 corvette. Favourite years are 1992-1996.
My favorite as well!! I picked up a 92 a couple years ago and absolutely love it! Crazy fun to drive.
beauty
What exhaust you got on it?
Just a muffler delete!
The only year to get the original digital dash AND the ZF 6 speed.....they look amazing in Gray.
My 89 Corvette is better looking I would have to say so myself 😉
"my dad was driving" lol..... please don't encourage idiots to do burnouts and donuts in these classics, or else there won't be any left.

Wow that’s awesome!! Is it mostly cosmetic damage or is everything burned?
