I also study on Ipad, but never took notes on a different note page. I just do it on the slides pdf the doctors give us, like I highlight the text, add something to it and things like that.
We have a lot of study I don’t know if I will have time to design it like this. What do you think?

How did you get those pictures or lecture slides? Do you just take a photo of your book with the ipad camera? Then you can drag them to the right side and write on them? Can I make a educational video using this app? And how would that work?

Wondering how you did on your exam; from your notes, I would think you would have received an A+++. Are you able to share the completed video on cranial nerves with all of us? I'm fascinated with this topic and I would love to learn more, more, more! lol NO worries, either way; I will keep my vagus nerve, CX, happy by not worrying about it and instead, chill-axin.

Awesome tips! However, I'd love for you to show how you duplicated the lines at 1:45. It looks like, after you created the first line, you somehow dragged a copy of the line. I can't figure out how to do that. (Know how to do it in Adobe Illustrator, but those tricks don't work on Notability.) Thanks!

So once I have drawn one line, I select it using the lasso tool and press duplicate, and do this 4 more times to give me 6 lines in total!

Can you go in detail on how to do the lines for the columns because when I draw a line it doesn’t convert to a straight line
Draw the line and hold it for a few seconds (keep your pen on the ipad) and it turns into a straight ;ine

How to do use the split notes because I am trying to do it and it is really confusing
if you swipe left on notability, from the left side of the screen, you will find your other notes and you can press the 3 dots to add your notes to the left or right!

Hey! Draw a straight line and then duplicate it using the Ken burn tool

You do it manually by drawing a straight line, duplicating it and spreading it out to create the columns you would like
When I download a signed document to notability the signature disappears! So frustrated! How to stop this?

If you have a Samsung Tablet you can use Samsung Notes, other android tablets I recommend the app Squid.

I keep trying to use the “split” template you have but still fail 😭 can you share an empty template of the split columns, please 🧡
Heyyy!! I’m not sure how I can share a template but I Can try explain it better:
So draw a straight line down the side of your page
Duplicate that line and move it about 8-10 squares across from the first one to make your first column
Then duplicate your first column to make the second and third
Does that make sense? If not let me know!!
Hey Bettina. I'm not sure you can draw lines in a note, and then save a template with that brings in those lines. If you figure out how to do it, let me know...(!)

@@LydieandHazal Ok, thank you! :) and may I know how is your ipad pro? :o im really sure what size 11" or 12.9" I should buy because I know 11" is more portable and 12.9 is heavier than 11" a bit too big to use it while taking bus, walking but its much more useful for school and work; multitasking, split the screen, screen bigger for taking notes and I guess more confortable. But I should think about the future too after my studies like will I still use this so much the 12.9"? Which do you suggest me to buy? Thank you!
@@xsaylayne3323 Hey!! so I have the 11 inch iPad Pro and it's more than enough for me! I see some people with the 12.9 inch and it does look nice but I think 11 inch is better overall as it's more portable and the size difference isn't massive. I would suggest maybe going into an Apple Store and trying out both sizes to see which one you prefer. from what ive seen most students have the 11 inch.

@@LydieandHazal Thank you, I should have spotted that, looks like a handy layout for finance related subjects as well. Can you just save your lines and this sheet as a template of your own and save some time?

I wish you would go slower on number 3. Making those columns. I slowed it down and rewatch 7 times and couldn't figure it out.

You upload the lecture slides on the IPAD via powerpoint then take screenshots or copy and paste between the two applications. You can split screen and have both notability + powerpoint up on the IPAD
