Same here... I used to sing at my church regularly and also often everywhere else, but now I had to quit all. I lost the hobby of mine. It's been over a year now.
I lost my singing voice a decade ago. Just lost it! I can’t hit any notes anymore. I’ve been singing since I was young and had a karaoke company for many years. I experienced some trauma and one day my fav song came on and as normal I sang along…..only, I didn’t. I have like a 4 note range now! This is very devastating to me! I have up trying being it’s just depressing.
I got Covid right now it's been a week and a half since I got it , and 5 days have passed since I lost my voice. Have you rcovered yours and how much time did it take if you did?
@@mynamehaschanged Hi, Danny...I was seeing an ENT about my voice, and she did a laryngoscopy, which relieved my fears of a possible nodule. She prescribed acid reflux meds. Minimal improvement. I am trying a homeopathic remedy now, per a holistic doc. I will let you know how it goes, if you are interested....It is a nasal spray. DM me again and I will tell you what it is, I don't have it handy at the moment
@@mynamehaschanged its called ClearLife nasal spray. Holistic doc thinks it will help my vocal cords. Will let you know if I get my voice back using it!
I`m a singer and I`ve lost control of my voice since having it in June 2022. It`s extremely difficult to sing normally. Plus my guitar playing is now sloppy and my memory is terrible and I feel dizzy. It`s ridiculous and frustrating.
Had COVID for first time Dec 2023. Had a terrible cough with it. My voice has completely changed. Raspy. Hoarse. Just awful. I’ve been going to voice therapy but no real changes.
I'm the same way, I always loved my ability to mimic michael Jackson's "he, he" but now ai can't access any note that high anymore and it's been 5 years after. It's started to come back but it's as if I can't speak.
I feel seen. Interesting to know it could be nerve-related. My ears have never stopped ringing since 2022, and I can no longer sing. My head voice is completely gone. No sound comes out at all.
I had a very mild case of covid, I guess, because I've lost my singing voice. I can speak just fine, but can't sing, just like her. It's been about 8 months. I'm unvaccinated and will stay that way. As I said, even though I'm 71 years old, it was a very mild case, and I went through the pandemic without getting sick at all.
I’m going through that same issue. It’s been over a year I still can’t sing again.

Me too, I lost my singing voice almost 5 months now after Covid. 😢

My singing voice was affected by the omicron variant in July 2022. Am seeing an ENT about it, but recovery is going at a snail's pace.

2 years, no hope, especially in memphis where my downfall is more of a learning experience for the doctors.
I can’t even imagine

I had covid a few weeks ago, my voice is noticeably more raspy.
