I've been watching first-time Dimash reactions for six years and never get tired of them. Don't stop! This was when he was 22 and he's now 30. He's even better! Btw, he's been going on stage since the age of 2. He said he's as comfortable on stage as he is in his home. He's single (has loads of women, and probably some men who would like to change that) and is 6'3". He's also a great humanitarian.

This was Dimash’s first appearance in China in the first episode of Singer 2017. They didn’t know anything about him only that he was from Kazakhstan and he was invited to enter by the organisers. The people shown are his competitors and the audience are the judges. Thank you for discovering Dimash at last. I love to see new reactions to him, and it never gets old. The next ones to watch would be Stranger and Olympico to see most of his range ❤️❤️❤️
The audience is all music professionals, and they also were the judges. Dimash was expected to bomb out according to the producers. They invited him to participate as a joke, a lark, fun entertainment for the audience. Instead, he got first place for this first round of the competition.
I saw a comment that he got second place simply because he's not Chinese. Later, they kind of "adopted" him, and he went to win first place. Not sure if it's true or not.
First everything for dimash here. Youngest show member at 22 yrs in 2017. A show of perfessiinal artist, him brought in as a wild card. First up to sing, first on the show that season. Came in 2nd place because he was not Chinese though Asian from Khazakastan. Was sent in as a wild card expected to be kicked off after a couple shows. On other versions of this performance you see him fighting for his production of the number. With dimashs education and starting in performance arts at age 2 you will find Dimash in charge of everything he puts out from stage, lights, background vocals, writing of the sheet music for all instruments by note or by ear, having his say so of what the sound man does for with his voice and in charge of the grips. With his two masters degrees and his doctorate and having a course in Broadway stage production you’re not hearing a simpleton. Dimash has perfect pitch which his grandmother who raised him as is custom for the eldest child in his country enrolled him in the music academy at the university at age five which was when he started his perfessiinal singing career and won his first piano contest in his part of the world and in the post Soviet countries he’s had spent his life competing.mthis was the first contest he didn’t win. Dimash is a high fashion model choosing his contracts, he has a red belt in taekwando, plays nine instruments and we think has close to an 8 octave range spanning the piano keyboard having growl notes in the first octave and sang the D8 in the whistle register whupich is one note off the piano at the top. He invents genres and picks and chooses any genre he wants to with that wide vocal range. This is popopera, he does hippopera in the music video “Smoke”, opera pop, classical, contemporary rap, heavy metal with the soundtrack song by the same name to the teen movie Go Go Power Rangers. I went to wikipedia for his bio and a two hour read. He’s just done that much with his life. It’s just unbelievable to someone like you who have never heard of him. This has happened because he chooses to be independent his own production and even his own ticjpket selling company. He won’t compromise his music or his morals.

Hearing Dimash for the first time is a revelation. ❤ So many human vocal barriers broken. So many influences mixed together into a genre all his own. I found Dimash right before everything shut down. I spent the next couple of yrs listening to him every day. You mentioned pets.. and i remembered how my cat would always lie on my lap to hear Dimash's voice coming from my phone. It made her happy. This is a show for professional and famous performers. No one knew Dimash, but they applauded him to support him. Then there was a real joy. He was the youngest participant and a foreigner. Great first introduction to THE BEST SINGER OF THE WORLD, DIMASH!! He was born with fabulous voice in his DNA, as both his parents are singers (father has a smooth crooner’s voice and mother is an opera soprano) and top it off, he has the rare gift of absolute pitch. He is university trained in classical and modern music. Probably already got his PhD in musicology, so Dr. Dimash PhD now. You started with the right one... my suggestions would be to continue with some more performances from this show before moving on to his own stuff and later covers. For example his take on Lara Fabian's Adagio (maybe also react to her live performance of the song from the *From Lara with love* show; actually just another rabbit hole) or Confessa/Diva Dance.

He routinely draws fans from 70-plus countries who make challenging trips to simply be in the same building with him. Those weren’t his lowest or his highest notes lol. Dimash has over 100 songs to choose from, multiple styles and languages. And just because he presents a song in a certain way once, doesn’t mean he will sing it the same way the next time. He might add some jazz or rap to it the next time. I've been watching first-time Dimash reactions for six years and never get tired of them. Don't stop! This was when he was 22 and he's now 30. He's even better! Btw, he's been going on stage since the age of 2. He said he's as comfortable on stage as he is in his home. He's single (has loads of women, and probably some men who would like to change that) and is 6'3". He's also a great humanitarian.
If you knew what I know, you'd be a very very happy man. Just you wait to see what he does next! It literally doesn't get better than Dimash, but Dimash does get better!!! This was Dimash’s first appearance in China in the first episode of Singer 2017. They didn’t know anything about him only that he was from Kazakhstan and he was invited to enter by the organisers. The people shown are his competitors and the audience are the judges. Thank you for discovering Dimash at last. I love to see new reactions to him, and it never gets old. The next ones to watch would be Stranger and Olympico to see most of his range ❤️❤️❤️
The audience is all music professionals, and they also were the judges. Dimash was expected to bomb out according to the producers. They invited him to participate as a joke, a lark, fun entertainment for the audience. Instead, he got first place for this first round of the competition.

I saw a comment that he got second place simply because he's not Chinese. Later, they kind of "adopted" him, and he went to win first place. Not sure if it's true or not.

First everything for dimash here. Youngest show member at 22 yrs in 2017. A show of perfessiinal artist, him brought in as a wild card. First up to sing, first on the show that season. Came in 2nd place because he was not Chinese though Asian from Khazakastan. Was sent in as a wild card expected to be kicked off after a couple shows. On other versions of this performance you see him fighting for his production of the number. With dimashs education and starting in performance arts at age 2 you will find Dimash in charge of everything he puts out from stage, lights, background vocals, writing of the sheet music for all instruments by note or by ear, having his say so of what the sound man does for with his voice and in charge of the grips. With his two masters degrees and his doctorate and having a course in Broadway stage production you’re not hearing a simpleton. Dimash has perfect pitch which his grandmother who raised him as is custom for the eldest child in his country enrolled him in the music academy at the university at age five which was when he started his perfessiinal singing career and won his first piano contest in his part of the world and in the post Soviet countries he’s had spent his life competing.mthis was the first contest he didn’t win. Dimash is a high fashion model choosing his contracts, he has a red belt in taekwando, plays nine instruments and we think has close to an 8 octave range spanning the piano keyboard having growl notes in the first octave and sang the D8 in the whistle register whupich is one note off the piano at the top. He invents genres and picks and chooses any genre he wants to with that wide vocal range. This is popopera, he does hippopera in the music video “Smoke”, opera pop, classical, contemporary rap, heavy metal with the soundtrack song by the same name to the teen movie Go Go Power Rangers. I went to wikipedia for his bio and a two hour read. He’s just done that much with his life. It’s just unbelievable to someone like you who have never heard of him. This has happened because he chooses to be independent his own production and even his own ticjpket selling company. He won’t compromise his music or his morals.
Dimash is the best of the best. 😀 In this performance he sang for the first time in China and on I´m singer, one of the hardest competition shows in China. I found Dimash right before everything shut down. I spent the next couple of yrs listening to him every day. You mentioned pets.. and i remembered how my cat would always lie on my lap to hear Dimash's voice coming from my phone. It made her happy. Lots of purrs. ❤

This is a show for professional and famous performers. No one knew Dimash, but they applauded him to support him. Then there was a real joy. He was the youngest participant and a foreigner. 👉 Part 2: In 2017, Dimash surprised everyone, not only in China. His first album was certified 1x platinum in 37 seconds, 3x platinum in 47 minutes and 5x platinum in one day.
He opened the eyes of his critical compatriots. Today, Dimash is his country's "cultural ambassador" and a "national treasure" (no official title). He himself is a proud Kazakh and patriot and is passionately committed to peace in the world.
Dimash plays at least 7 instruments, traditional dombra is a must in Kazakh familys. He speaks 3 languages: Kazakh (mother tongue), Russian without an accent (second language in Kazakhstan) and English. So far he sings in 16 languages (phonetically). Dimash says dancing is difficult for him. But he moves great on stage and his hands speak. He is a grandios and sensitive story teller. Dimash trains his voice 3 hours every day...but he says: "You don't have to know how hard I've worked, you just have to enjoy the results."
In professional circles, Dimash is considered a lyrical baritone with a typically wide range. Some believe that he does not sing his high notes as a countertenor but as a natural soprano. He is the first singer to sing all 5 voices: bass, baritone, tenor, alto, soprano.
His current pitch range is G0 - D8 (outside the piano), 7,7 octaves! At least that's what Dimash shows us so far. 😃

Dimash's 'heavenly' vocal abilities, from bass to coloratura soprano, are difficult to classify. Dimash doesn't drink alcohol and of course he doesn't smoke, he doesn't drink iced drinks and he doesn't like socks. He loves fire and water on stage, of course only as stage sets. 🤣
