This is honestly one the of the best shows out right now. All the interviews flow easily, the guest are open and seem comfortable. I was skeptical at first when they decided to split from I Am Athlete, but I see why now. You guys took a more serious approach with the interviews and dive into deeper topics outside of just sports alone. One of the few podcasts I watch from start 2 finish each episode 🔥
Literally the same thing as IAA or any podcast with ex athletes just different personalities bringing themselves out on their own platforms it ain’t that deep lol….just good to get to know these athletes outside of their sports with no filter
Man I love Charles attitude and mentality. He doesn’t shy away from things he believes in and he stands on it. I love that he continues to push the narrative that blacks are so much more than athletes and entertainers. Keep it up chuck!
My sister's run into him a few times in bars, and talked for hours. Chuck has been a world ambassador ever since the '92 Barcelona Olympics. He was THE star of stars on The Dream Team that Olympics.

We have ecconomic opportunitiees in this country. The US is the best country in the world for Black people, we just have to take advantage of the opportunities. This is the only county in the world, where you can start off in the bottom 10% and work your way to the top 10%. We all have smart phones and access to the internet. Education and opportunity is in the palm of your hand. We need to get off of social media and spend our time educating ourselves. There is so much money out there but most of us don't know half of the opportunities available to us. Charles said right and I agree 100% with him, if you're waiting on a political party or someone to swoop in and save you"ll be waiting for a long time.
OK, this might be my favorite episode. There was a part of the show where Charles and Ryan disagreed on race issues. They both showed how to disagree and DISCUSS without anger and hostility. Much respect RC for showing the media how to LISTEN! He says says the least of you three but when Fred speaks, it's potent. Loves his words today! BTW, don't forget fan appreciation day! The thing I love about Sir Charles is he is so down to earth, doesn't take himself too seriously despite being rich and really enjoys life to the fullest. Of course he jokes around with anyone but when it comes to serious issues like racism, supporting good police but speaking up on unjust police killings of black men, speaking up on the bad people within his own race he is usually right. What I don't understand is that there are blacks out there who really dislike/ hate him in barber shops I've heard for myself and on other UA-cam channels , etc.

This is by far one of y’all best interviews y’all have done. I think it’s also big what chuck said about both parties, I truly believe at the end of the day both wings are on the same bird man, and we truly have to move with the mantra “we the people” we are the ones that truly have the power to change our communities we can’t just wait for rich people on both sides to get up in power and expect something to change.

The reason why we see so little progress is mainly due to low Dem turnout for local and midterm elections. If our vote didnt mean anything then they wouldn't try so hard to stifle it.
Charles is my Alabama homie. I used to see his mother shopping at the Summit when I worked in B’ham. Charles put Leeds, Alabama on the map and I’m so proud of what he has done for some of the HBCU’s including my daughter’s alma mater, Clark Atlanta University. I’m only 7 minutes in, and this is already one of the best interviews ever. Sir Charles is LEGENDARY. I just wanna sit down at the same table as him and listen to him drop knowledge at the same time as he’s making me cry from laughter.

Immediate click when I saw Charles Barkley on the show! Chuck is just a great guy, and really has a lot of wisdom. And I feel lucky to have been a kid at the time Jordan, Barkley, Magic, Bird, Malone, Stockton were all in the league, and as a Pacers fan, my all-time favorite, Reggie Miller!
I only discovered The Pivot a couple of months ago and Ryan, Fred and Channing have become some of my favorite guys. Because I love the show so much, I'm now back tracking and watching all of the shows I missed. BTW, Chuck, Grandma was the proprietor of a speakeasy and from what you told us, a badass OG. My mother's next-door neighbor ran a speakeasy on the weekend and sometimes they would party so hard the stomping and clapping would literally shake our house (after getting a little inebriated, several of the OG's thought they were musicians. LOL!!!).
The Pivot has to be one of the only shows that can take people you either all ready loved or knew about but didn't know the whole story and make you love them even more!

In my youth I was a Detroit "Bad Boys" era fan. Those guys captured my attention as a child. That was until Barkley got traded to PHX. I instantly became a Suns fan, when everyone loved MJ nd the Bulls. That run they had with KJ, DAN, DANNY X 2, and more was phenomenal. The finals against the Bulls was heartbreaking.
Charles this gave me a new respect for you to tell your truth you never thought you would make it and you became one of the greatest basketball players of all time salute you my brother

VERY important dialogue surrounding the “I’m not a role model” commercial. As an aspiring attorney who once thought that the NFL was the only way to make it back when I played football, I can vouch that the mentality was so hard to fight through just to find that sense of self worth. It’s absolutely important for black & gifted role models to also be found outside of entertainment.
My favorite athlete growing up. He had that same attitude like in that commercial as in real life. He often talked about playing basketball in not the greatest light vs other high skilled professions.
Can we just give it up to Freddy T and Channing for showing they are the ones that were the major attraction on I am athlete, have brought it to the Pivot, brought RC and have elevated and showcased their amazing convos and chemistry. The numbers speak for they self!!

We have ecconomic opportunitiees in this country. The US is the best country in the world for Black people, we just have to take advantage of the opportunities. This is the only county in the world, where you can start off in the bottom 10% and work your way to the top 10%. We all have smart phones and access to the internet. Education and opportunity is in the palm of your hand. We need to get off of social media and spend our time educating ourselves. There is so much money out there but most of us don't know half of the opportunities available to us. Charles said right and I agree 100% with him, if you're waiting on a political party or someone to swoop in and save you"ll be waiting for a long time.
OK, this might be my favorite episode. There was a part of the show where Charles and Ryan disagreed on race issues. They both showed how to disagree and DISCUSS without anger and hostility. Much respect RC for showing the media how to LISTEN! He says says the least of you three but when Fred speaks, it's potent. Loves his words today! BTW, don't forget fan appreciation day! You guys are the best! Don't change the show or the team!

Chuck is funny when he's not trying to be love his Granny stories she was a boss. Her side hustle I can identify with my uncle did the same from his house. Great show PIVOT.
The thing I love about Sir Charles is he is so down to earth, doesn't take himself too seriously despite being rich and really enjoys life to the fullest. Of course he jokes around with anyone but when it comes to serious issues like racism, supporting good police but speaking up on unjust police killings of black men, speaking up on the bad people within his own race he is usually right. What I don't understand is that there are blacks out there who really dislike/ hate him in barber shops I've heard for myself and on other UA-cam channels , etc.

This is by far one of y’all best interviews y’all have done. I think it’s also big what chuck said about both parties, I truly believe at the end of the day both wings are on the same bird man, and we truly have to move with the mantra “we the people” we are the ones that truly have the power to change our communities we can’t just wait for rich people on both sides to get up in power and expect something to change.

And though i understand exactly what Charles is saying I still believe voting is very important. To allow others to dictate who's in office and the laws hurts our community even more. The reason why we see so little progress is mainly due to low Dem turnout for local and midterm elections. If our vote didnt mean anything then they wouldn't try so hard to stifle it.

Charles put Leeds, Alabama on the map and I’m so proud of what he has done for some of the HBCU’s including my daughter’s alma mater, Clark Atlanta University. I only discovered The Pivot a couple of months ago and Ryan, Fred and Channing have become some of my favorite guys. Because I love the show so much, I'm now back tracking and watching all of the shows I missed. BTW, Chuck, Grandma was the proprietor of a speakeasy and from what you told us, a badass OG. My mother's next-door neighbor ran a speakeasy on the weekend and sometimes they would party so hard the stomping and clapping would literally shake our house (after getting a little inebriated, several of the OG's thought they were musicians. LOL!!!).
The Pivot has to be one of the only shows that can take people you either all ready loved or knew about but didn't know the whole story and make you love them even more!

In my youth I was a Detroit "Bad Boys" era fan. Those guys captured my attention as a child. That was until Barkley got traded to PHX. I instantly became a Suns fan, when everyone loved MJ nd the Bulls. That run they had with KJ, DAN, DANNY X 2, and more was phenomenal. The finals against the Bulls was heartbreaking.

VERY important dialogue surrounding the “I’m not a role model” commercial. As an aspiring attorney who once thought that the NFL was the only way to make it back when I played football, I can vouch that the mentality was so hard to fight through just to find that sense of self worth. It’s absolutely important for black & gifted role models to also be found outside of entertainment.
to this day .... people still miss the WHOLE point of that commercial. i understood it from DAY 1 (i was old enough to understand).
My favorite athlete growing up. He had that same attitude like in that commercial as in real life. He often talked about playing basketball in not the greatest light vs other high skilled professions.

My brother, a diehard anti-Republican, was playing craps in Vegas and was having a good time with the guy next to him when he realized it was Rush Limbaugh. He said the same thing as Charles, he's a completely different person than he portrays on TV. Charles had always been known as a talkative and funny guy but it's nice to see how truly thoughtful he is.
