I think he's from India, raised in the UK, but now lives/works in Germany. Few pickups there, mainly Chevrolet Colorado size in the countryside.
I watched in suspense.
Was really interested in hearing / seeing a new comer playing with an American full size pick up for the first time.
Was not disappointed... I was excited and proud to impress and amaze a visitor :D
His impressions was like watching a child open his Christmas present and seeing the toy light up his eyes.

Haven't been a fan of the 1500 since 07-09 models. But this is a handsome truck.

I'm torn between the 2500 mega cab for extra space or this 1500 that might do the job. Just leaning towards the Cummins since the VM 3.0 seems weak.

I do find full size pickups to be ridiculous when they’re not used for their intended purpose of hauling a huge amount of stuff. But having said that, there’s just something cool about them. So maybe Tesla’s pickup will change my mind.

Those buttons behind the steering wheel aren’t paddles, they’re audio controls. It’s a feature Jeep/Chrysler/Dodge & Ram models have had for many years :-)

This is the truck who will set the bar this Year. Ford and Chevrolet sit back and relax.
Wow active aero on basically a large brick.. still good on Dodge. For the geography and how roads are designed in the U.S. I can surely understand why they're the no.1 selling vehicle, but for most outside the United States it would be so impractical.
I'm very impressed with the cabin, it's ruggedly luxurious. Tops for that large tablet screen and reclining rear chairs, all new Chevrolet Silverado seems so very budget in comparison.

Still under FCA/Chrysler/Dodge/RAM Trucks, still confusing but yes split was since 2009.

Ex RAM owner here, this new design looks incredibly boring and uninspired. It lost all character, like a toyota or nissan truck too.

Bill H RAM is it's own brand and Dodge is it's own brand. It's not a model under the Dodge brand anymore. It's been 8 years since the creation of the RAM brand.
Lets hope this one wont bend during a car crash and earns 5 stars on crash test...

Who drive this monster cars these days
They sold just over 500,000 Ram full size trucks last year. That's only the Ram which was "only" the 3rd most-popular vehicle in the US last year, to the 800,000+ Ford F Series and the CHevolet Silverado. I would say a VERY large number of people are driving these EVERY day.
Please change the title of the video. The make is not Dodge, it's RAM. RAM is it's own brand. The make is RAM and the model is 1500; 2019 RAM 1500.

Skylin Megas I agree with you about making RAM it's own brand being a bad idea but the only way to protest FCA about the decision is to not buy it. Buying it and telling people it's a Dodge won't make FCA change its mind about the Ram division.
Autogefühl they are stuck in the past but you putting "Dodge" in front of RAM is playing along with their fantasies. Instead, you should educate your audience and that means calling it what it really is.

+1. .. Autogefuhl covering Detroit .... Well Gawd Damn ! .. These silly fuel guzzling unsafe crash-test failure US Pickups are everywhere. .. Check out the failing IIHS ( www.iihs.org ) crash tests of many US pickups. .. The US P/U manufactures are making money hand over fist. .. Profit margins up there with Porsche AG's.
The newest and best selling truck in the segment currently for sale, the F150, is actually a IIHS top safety pick. It's probably one of the safest vehicles you could own anywhere on the planet. Is lying something you normally do?
Michael Schneider All the pickups that failed to get top safety picks are old, outgoing models, and they were designed or introduce around or well before the current testing standards were introduced. I wouldn't expect them to get perfect scoring on the latest crash test. Besides this, none failed crash tests of any kind. And as was said by the person above me, the F150, which is the newest and biggest selling, scored a top safety pick by the IIHS. Seriously, your comment is entirely unfair and dishonest.

Michael Schneider I did view and touched on the issues, and you completely ignored what was said. There is no segment where every vehicle gets top safety picks. And the truck segment has no Americans that failed safety tests or even received poor ratings. Even the oldest vehicles in the segment received marginal to good ratings on the test. There is no more safety issues with American trucks than are with luxury cars from Japan or Germany, or small cars from Korea or Italy. Some do worse than other, some pass with flying colors, but none receive poor ratings. You're just making up issues and spreading lies.
