I’m 54 and a musician and I grew up in the 80s. Not sure how I came across this tune, but I routinely come back to it to immerse myself in this delicious and longing pop soundscape. The video and production quality of the song is, on one level, quintessential late 80s (even some early 90s pop is similar), especially with the programmed drum track that blossoms later with empathetic, cavernous synths. On another level, it’s enduring because she’s stunningly beautiful in the black and white with simple, mundane (but interesting) settings to adorn her as a backdrop. Really just the music, the lyric and her, making the entire package pop gold. It truly is (an increasingly rare) instance of pop perfection with a memory and homage to the past.

We drink outside watching the sky and laughing to stupid things cus we are high , looking at the stray dogs run around shaking their silly tails.Then we go to the river through all of that urban decay , swim in the cold refreshing river and jumping from the old tree on the river bed .Then we would get to the hill and the abandoned hospital and stare at our city , the summer fireworks show is lighting up the place and we would just stand there , the flashes would light up our smiling faces and we would look at each other with our foggy eyes and laugh.I love those days , I was happy and this song makes me happy .

When I first heard this song I had the the exact same odd feeling : like I heard this song a long time ago
I clicked on this song out of curiosity because the name of the artist was original and during those 4:13 I was in a different reality as I imagined what it would be like to bump into a girl like that on the streets of a city covered in lights. The moment your eyes meet as you apologize with a shy little smile on your lips and you want to say more to her because you just dropped your heart in her hands. Well, you can always look it up, but astrology is pretty much the zodiac signs that I'm sure you've heard about (or "horoscopes"), but everyone doesn't have just one sign, the sign they know is just the one they can easily figure out because it's always on fixed dates, but that is just your sun sign. In astrology the zodiac signs go through all of the planets and thus you have a sun sign, moon sign, mercury, venus, mars etc. There is also rising sign which is based on the time you were born and not based on a planet but perhaps the earth (I don't know too much about that). There are even signs in asteroids. You figure out these signs based on your birth date. Sky's sun sign is cancer and her moon is scorpio, moon in scorpio gives off a dark, intense and emotional, sexual and interesting vibe. Which is why I feel like I can really see it in this video.
