Coming back to this in 2024 (almost 2025) is a whole ass trip, the 2019/2020 was the peak of the indiekid era and Clairo was (and is) the face of indie gen z artist, the vibes of this vídeo were very popular among gen z and we honestly took those times for granted… We were depressed but we were hopeful for a better future and that reflected on the fashion/music, we knew the world would turn darker but we were hopeful that it didnt.
