The expressions on Harry's face when you were talking about Dance were priceless. And I'm with you Harry... It's a waste of flippin learning time. Whoever came up with that as a subject is pinching a living. No wonder schools struggle for cash to buy books. Don't get me going... I'm on a rant 👿😠
Harry next time it's dance class, just go in and sing the scissor sisters song, i don't feel like dancing! 🤣🤣Say to teacher i'm a farmers son, i'm not dancing round class like a blooming fairy!😂😂😂
Hi Richard, ihave always believed that one day i will find some treasure from a molehill while out with my dog, its been many years and no luck yet but you never know
Def October unless we have an exceptional summer. Ground conditions allowing it always pays to plant early, that will more than likely be ready in Sept.
Can't stop looking at that beautiful new Holland 😍 I always thought the pole by the side of the seeder helps when I play farming simulator on Clarksons farm I never use it before
i think harrys guess for harvest is about right........things seem to be a bit later this year. we've had quite a lot of rain this week......tricky harvesting weather this year we only seem to get 2/3 nice days then it rains again
We don't have remains of a Roman Villa in our land BUT there was one in the field next door. Kent Archeological Society turn up every few years for a bit of a Dig (No sign of Baldrick though 😹😹We are on south facing land overlooking the river. It was all Vineyards 2000 years ago. Some of the Ragstone was quarried and sent by barge and used to build the City of London The same area was all Hop Gardens 100 years ago and now we keep it as grassland (for our Sheep & Alpacas - Harry would love it 😹😹😹)
Great video Richard 📹 🚜🌽🌽🌽Thank you👍Do you use a different variety of seed maize ever year?Hope you have a good yield this year.I'll have a guess of 8th October harvesting.🌽🌽🌽
Hi Richard and Harry the muck ye spread will be still breaking down in 4 yrs ,if ye looked at the sod turn over with the plough you see it as it breaking it's breaking down .Where the air get to it breaks down faster
Great video Richard, good to see the maize in and growing , them drivers are not very film friendly lol it's only the chopper driver who let's you film a ride inside the cab.
Ooh could I have those Maize pellets for my brekkie 😂. Farmers around here have some silage in but the weather is still not great. It's a bit nippy too.More fecking rain on the way, flipping eck..☘️🇮🇪......("would Rich ever stop filming me "😊)
I'm sure Harry knows all there is to know about Arable with all his Farm Sim Experience I think with the marker on the return run you line the marker mound strip up with the middle of the front bonnet of the tractor when I did Farm Sim I used AI so not that sure.
Hi Richard didnt know you hate sheep , but i often wondered do yous keep sheep , as i never seen you upload a video on them, definitely more work with sheep i prefer cattle myself always did,
The point on the seeding machine goes into the ground and there is a tube behind that that drops the seed down and you will see the little wheels behind that it rolls the seed into the ground you studie it closely hope this helps a bit
Hope you get good crop of maze this year last year's crop was good also
Good Moring

What relative maturity is your maize? We plant 90-120 day, depending on where we are at.

Good morning Richard and Harry, Nice to see your maize coming up hoping you get a good crop, you both have a great day and stay safe. 🚜⭐️⭐️👍✅
You can definitely work too much muck into the soil, too much ammonia, will reduce the uptake of nutrients such as Potassium, which is not good.
are those new rafters in the seed shed?
Do you ever pick up those bigger stones ?
yes
Morning funky farmer, 👍
Hope those seeds stay in the ground and don't go hoping out, French seeds indeed I dread to think how much tax is paid on that loud.🧐

There’s no way it’ll be ready by late Sept. Harry’s far closer. I’d say somewhere around 10th of October. Remember maize is a 150 day crop.
Good vid boys.. hope the fish and chips was was great.. better try some when your up in this neck of the woods 😅.. stay safe 🏴

Good to get your Maize planted in the soil after all of rain 🌧.
I don't think you can grow corn-seed for reproduction on Great-Brittains latitude.
