Guys I know we appreciate eric garcia and pau as cbs we still have to consider that this was valencia. Eric has struggled in the past against tough strikers. And he doesn't have the pace to cover distances. But he is a good squad player though. I would still choose pau, inigo, araujo and christensen. Eric can start probably against low block teams.
@@curtischarles5299 he is a good player don’t get me wrong. Girona beat us because they were much better as a team. They exposed us. If you remember the first season under Xavi especially in ucl when araujo and kounde got injured we were so bad defensively. Eric was starting those games. We exited in the group stage. So yeah. He will struggle against top strikers.
I dont see ahving a lot of midfielders as a problem . Today we have way more games to play and you have to rotate a lot. Another thing is that players get injured a lot now because of so many games. Sometimes 2 and 3 players get injured for long periods and this causes the midfield to get thin and then players are overplayed.
talkfcb could never be in a podcast because of his mental problems of always screaming for no reason at all. In a podcast people need to talk to each other, not scream 24/7
Great pod. About Frenkie, I like the team 1st mentality that many Barça fans want displayed, but then I think it should be applied to everyone, including the executives. I like everyone to be held accountable of their actions, not just the players. If you get a reputation of mistreating your players, you might find many who want to come to Barcelona but the best ones will make choices too. Keep up the good work.
Seriously every time i hear a player hinting on moving or something fans jump on them to leave and not want him again as if there aren't alot of issues financially
On the araujo and szczesney point they are both players who need more playtime araujo was out since start of the season and gk was retired they have to integrate to the system and they slowly will
My shout on tge CB question if Inigo is out is Curbarsi amd Christianson. Christiansen is ckoser physcally to Aruajo but is much smarter with his awareness and better on the ball. I think that pairing would be better.
Am I the only one who looks at this from Araujo's perspective. He hasn't played with this team much yet and he doesnt know how high he ranks in the lineup yet. And after last year when he was one our most important defenders and then finds out he was on a transfer list. Doesnt it make sense that he wants to protect himself with a way to leave. Why would he want to risk being trapped on the bench. With Frenkie, how can we say that hes disrespected the club. Hes differed his wages, played through injuries and no matter what hes been put in the headlines as someone the club is looking to sell. Now that its convenient for the club hes just supposed just negotiate when they want even when he was injured. They say jumo he says how high with no loyalty shown in return. I'm just saying these guys are people too. We can't just expect absolute loyalty from these players but not show it back.
I used to like Hansi very much, however after his press conference, I got a kind of bad feeling about him becauase of the position he took on who is the first choice goalkeeper.
If you could question hansi flick decisions , who have done an excellent job and made us look like Barcelona again , then you don't understand anything
@@quality6823 you need to come down from that UA-cam Manager throne in your head. You never kicked a ball in your life but you have the greatest football mind . Boy sit down and be quiet
I wouldn't be surprised if Araujo left. Definitely wouldn't be putting Garcia in an important match. Iñigo will be 34 in a few months, so how much longer can Barca rely on him? So with all that, I do hope Araujo stays. So let's say Barcelona are in the final vs Liverpool. Your starting 11?
Bench Lewa more often and we will see more trashings 5+ goals!!!! Our attacking midfield proved that in 3games when Lewa wasn't starting...the "flow of the ball" is like OLD Tiki-taka Barca, pressing is WAAAAAY better and we don't focus passing to only one player..we are actualy playing our game!!!! AGAIN bench Lewa and watch more trashings!!! Put him in as (lets say) "super sub", don't force youngsters to only search for him in the box, allow them to play their own La Massia game!!!(I hope Flick sees that)
Great cast. I'd love to see you bring Mo in more in the future.
Mo's insight and analysis is so good

Agree 100%
Ok he struggled in the past .so how come we loaned him to girona and he was excellent and even was on the girona team that beat us twice last season ?
And something that goes unmentioned cubarsi is 17 i prefer he gets rest time

This really is more than a podcast! We are witnessing greatness 🫡 question. Does anyone know if Jonathan Tah is a done deal for sure?
