Am I the only one who looks at this from Araujo's perspective. He hasn't played with this team much yet and he doesnt know how high he ranks in the lineup yet. And after last year when he was one our most important defenders and then finds out he was on a transfer list. Doesnt it make sense that he wants to protect himself with a way to leave. Why would he want to risk being trapped on the bench. With Frenkie, how can we say that hes disrespected the club. Hes differed his wages, played through injuries and no matter what hes been put in the headlines as someone the club is looking to sell. Now that its convenient for the club hes just supposed just negotiate when they want even when he was injured. They say jumo he says how high with no loyalty shown in return. I'm just saying these guys are people too. We can't just expect absolute loyalty from these players but not show it back.

I dont see ahving a lot of midfielders as a problem . Today we have way more games to play and you have to rotate a lot. Another thing is that players get injured a lot now because of so many games. Sometimes 2 and 3 players get injured for long periods and this causes the midfield to get thin and then players are overplayed.

Great pod. About Frenkie, I like the team 1st mentality that many Barça fans want displayed, but then I think it should be applied to everyone, including the executives. I like everyone to be held accountable of their actions, not just the players. Guys I know we appreciate eric garcia and pau as cbs we still have to consider that this was valencia. Eric has struggled in the past against tough strikers. And he doesn't have the pace to cover distances. But he is a good squad player though. I would still choose pau, inigo, araujo and christensen. Eric can start probably against low block teams.

Yknow how you beat teams that sit back deep for 90 minutes? You have 1-2 players who are willing to shoot from deep to force the defenders to move up! That’s why Madrid can beat theses types of teams cause they have guys like Velverde who can take shots from 25+ yards out. All it takes is a few shots from out there early to test the keeper and then the whole game can open up. It’s a shame that we keep trying to dribble through 6 defenders in the box.

I think we should stick with rapha , torre, olmo as 10 as they can provide you games with goals. The problem with rapha as lw in laliga is he is a crucial player that needs to be closer of the goal, but they makes the lw empty and the field doesnt get strached .
