Mr Bungle were the reason why I went out and joined a band. Truth be told, it was only a marching band, mostly full of kids with braces, but I joined a band nonetheless. Thankyou Mr Bungle and I hope you're safe.

I was in the balcony for this show. The energy coming off the stage was intense, like a sizzling frying pan. Loved every second of it, got the free poster framed and on my wall.
I was on the floor and upstairs also my ears are still fucked up from this night.

By far the strangest and best incarnation of Mr. Bungle. I enjoy all of their albums but Disco Volante is just a work of art and very other worldly even the title of the album tells us so. And I love everyone’s costumes in this concert video especially Trey’s and Trevor’s.
DV is quite possibly the weirdest album ever released by a major label. No wonder Warner Bros hated them so much and refused any funds for future advertising.

Mr Bungle is a national treasure. They taught me that even if you do everything wrong, artistically there's still a place for you in the world. The ending of the Desert search for techno Allah has always been so epic. A concert without the glowing ocean of cell phone screens.. the 90s were so awesome

I've always wondered how the hell Mr. Bungle put their music together in the studio. How they did it on stage so brilliantly is another mystery altogether. For the rest of my life, I'll always wish I could've seen them live.
Check out Trey Spruance interviews. He usually has plenty of info. They would talk things over how parts would transition into other parts and whoever had the best idea won. It was all democratic when it came to that.. although a good portion of the song was already written by one or two members. They still had to Bungle it up.

I dig SC3 hard since 2007 - I knew of Mr Bungle since 1991 butt never bought anything -TOO BAD FOR ME. This is insanely awesome indeed. TU.
So with Mike Patton Mr Bungle must be like "The Secret Chiefs 4" for you. I love SC3 and you can hear that "Mystical Middle East+Arcane Avant-Garde" sound in Disco Volante more than Self-Titled or California as well as in Bungle's live shows.
