I was right up front for this show. Leslie's tone was massive as always. The best part is Leslie handed my daughter a pick while onstage and then was handed another pick after the show by Leslie, and being shy didnt know what to do -- so she asked Leslie for a hug and Leslie and my daughter hugged. We got to see my friend Peter Baron play so well on bass as well. This night was pure magic, and when two 15 year old girls (my daughter and her friend) I was accompanied with enjoyed the music so much that they are telling all their friends at school, you KNOW Leslie's music is cross generational. And yeah, it also means Rock and Roll will Never Die!
What a great Leslie memory yall have! Thank You for sharing. Met him after 2 different Long Island shows in the 90s. The white signature thin pick Leslie gave me is a treasure as was the time he took to speak to me.
Leslie West, you are my favorite rock star ! When I first heard "Mississippi queen " from my moms kitchen radio , it made the hair stand up on my neck and arms . I always wanted to play like you, but I was only in 10th grade , and fell in love with Harley's and MC's which took me on to the dark side , but I can still play that song , note for note. God bless!
I love the music of Leslie/Mountain, and this is my favorite tune. It sounds cool how he modified the vocal to fit his voice (this being a Felix vocal on record). Awesome to see him continuing to kick ass!
Tony , I love it, getting Geary eyed we all miss Leslie and Mountain. I just got off my kit,and played Theme from an Imaginary Western. Give us more great vids. Thx again…..
An interesting adaption of their original. I still have my bootleg copy of a show Mountain did at New Canaan High School in 1969, which was basically before anyone really knew the band. That was well before Mississippi Queen.
Time has effects on vocals etc…. Adaptation is the key to longevity…. Coupled with talent and killer music. Leslie will live on through his music and the music of all inspired by him.
RIP Leslie, a true legend.

They don't make em like they used too. The massive power, killer drum beats and beautiful melodies of Mountain. As good as it gets.
You're still my hero and my brothers too may you rest in peace
I love how Leslie would sometimes yell Felix while looking up . ...
Monster tone 😍😍
❤you Leslie
Great show, we had a ball, wish he played all nite!
Great to see him still playing after all the health problems.
Great song. The seventies were the best for music

The King of KILLER tone!!!!
Rest in peace big man.
A true legend!
Love the mountain
poor Leslie, at least now he's with the friends he mentioned here like Johnny Winter, Felix Pappalardi and Jack Bruce.
Saw the original Mountain @ Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY early 70's. Front row seats tripping my balls off. Awesome time.
R.I.P. 🙏🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
