You are very lucky Lady that had a chance to meet that Lovely Woman Daphne .I hope you are doing weel too these days.Sorry , if I make mistales.English is my 3-d language. I live in New Zealand now. I wish I could make a trip to Kenya. I don't know. Getting bit old and ill((. All the best to people like you! I wish you were my sister!
Gotta admit, Christian, You my friend are one of the wealthiest people on the planet because of all of the memories you have created thus far. Wish you many more years of exploration and creation of such wonderful experiences. Thank you for taking me along for the journey via this video. P.S. The music, for some reason, in this episode was especially conducive to the flow of the segments and the energy of your experience. Great job 👍🏼
This looks like a lifetime experience same with the Giraffe, definitely a must. Thanks again for sharing such moments with the world. Keep it up the great work.
I am from India and I’m a lover of animals I have two dogs and I’m an ardent fan of the videos of sheldrik wild life the ellies are so close to my heart finally loved your video ❤️
Your amazing thanking you for taking me places that I'll probably never be able to visit and enjoy! Dont stop doing what your doing please! Stay safe, take care love from a little island in Essex England xXx
This was amazing. I have been to Chiangmai twice, and the first elephant camp was pretty abusive, but the last one I went to… They claimed and I was pretty convinced that it was a great place for the elephants. They talked about how their philosophy was to love and care for the elephants, and teach them through rewarding good behavior instead of punishing negative behavior. Anyway, I hope to spend a lot more time around these animals in the future. Thanks for the awesome video.
This comment is long over due but I would just like to say from the bottom of my heart a BIG THANK YOU for everything you do to support animals, especially the endangered ones. You are so much on the right track and you should be extremely proud of yourself dear.
You are visiting Umani Springs!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!! And meet Murera, Sonje, Quanza and the others ellies. Murera has boyfriend now! And the princess Quanza still has some ptsd, poor girl. Wouldn't blame her she witnessed her mom, sisters and all her family all being poached for the ivory (her mom was a very famous elephant) This is the place I really want to visit someday to meet the orphan. Umani springs is home for the handicapped elephants after they graduated from the nursery in Nairobi. Almost all elephants in Umani Springs has permanent physical injury. Please consider to adopt.
There are 3 places after the baby graduated from the nursery in Nairobi. After they are 5yo, they are being reintroduced back to the wild in Tsavo, Voi, Umani Springs. This special place, umani springs is for handicapped elephants. They can't be 100% back to the wild because of their injury.
Beautiful story Christian. For anyone who loves African elephants there is an amazing book called Elephantoms by Lyall Watson. It will break your heart in the nicest way. These are conscious, intelligent, complex, sentient beings.
Wow I'm Korean and I will try to be a travel UA-camr, I booked the ticket to go to South America next year in Feb. I can feel how you spend time and make an effort to make the video bro, I am impressed
Hey Christian - love what you're doing and project black tusk. I'm not being facetious asking this: why do you draw the line between helping elephants but then eating bacon for breakfast? Factory farming is 1000x worse than what these animals experience.
This question comes from a good place, I'm just genuinely curious. I've been vegan for over a decade now. A really great book on this weird hypocrisy that people have is 'Eating Animals' by Jonathan Safran Foer.
This is awesome! What an incredible experience that must've been! From one Canadian to another, thank you for sharing the adoption website with us, so we can help out, too!
How about his 2 adopted dogs abandoned back in Bali? Hopefully they're not living on the streets like most end up when foreigners ditch them and leave.🙏❤
We definitely here for this. I am in time for the first time ever. And I'm already excited for this video. Please come to South Africa next , I'd loved to meet you and ruby. Also visit my country (Zambia) you'll love it
I really appreciate that you decided to adopt an elephant and take care for him,on the other hand you eat animals and do not care: have you ever thought about speciesism, Christian?
Big fan, but to be very honest these africa videos seemed very unreal, like you make thousand dollars tours, staying in thoudand dollars 5 stars hotels, it is just not something worth watching
His grandmother came and spoke at our school when I was child. The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust does great work.
