I am one of those you mentioned in the beginner of the video regarding where to start cutting. I was sitting down to make one and that is what happened to me. I said go to Jackie's page and there this one was.
Jackie, just a suggestion. You need to do this video again with current paper, greetings, etc. It is such a great idea, and I love it so much...and I wish others got to see it NOW (call it a REBOOT?). Since this was a while ago, I think others may have missed out on this one. It is my "go to" idea from you for using up my paper on cards. Love your videos so much!!!!
With the broader exposure of Soft Succulent on the one card the Sahara Sand really works well. The white sentiment looks great with the larger dsp piece. Really nice layout.
Love this!! I just cut up a bunch of 12 x 12 papers Into 6 x 6. Got brave and went for it. NOW, I can start cutting them up and make cards. Simple with impact. Thanks for sharing. Need to start Christmas cards.
I love this idea using a 6x6 pad, but even if I cut all of the 12x12 cut into a 4x5.25 I could do the same technique by cutting one 4x5.25 into half and make two cards with the 2” strip!
Beautiful cards! When I made my Fourth of July cards, I didn’t pay attention to horizontal versus vertical. I messed up quite a few but since they were all cards for 11 kids that I send cards to, I didn’t freak too much. The perfectionist in me was so mad.
I love the layout of both cards. I definitely hoard my DSP, so this will be a great layout to use up paper. I like the Sahara Sand that you used for your sentiment on the Christmas cards. I think it pops out a little better than the white. Thank you for sharing and have a great day.
I came across you videos and just love all of the cards that you make. What kind of paper do you use for die cutting? Looking forward to watching more of your videos.
Thank you, Jackie! Love these simple, yet beautiful layouts...my problem isn't using my DSP. I can't ever toss the scraps, so I'd have to use those 2 leftover pieces for something😉
Thank you so much for these designs. They are so pretty. Your cards always are amazing and I feel like mine are dull when I do that. I’ve got to try this layout. 🥰
I wonder if you have a video on how you are lining up the cardstock on your paper cutter and making the measurements. I have slowed the video to watch (in slow motion) as you place the paper on the cutter and by looking at the measurements on the cutter I am confused on how you are determining the measurements.
I don't have a specific project for graduation cards... but I have a ton of different layout ideas you can use with a "congratulations" stamp! All depends on what you're specifically looking for. Here's an easy layout with a congrats stamp: ua-cam.com/video/DkMO5H9bovc/v-deo.html This would be a fun grad card layout if you're adding a little gift: ua-cam.com/video/KR0IQ4nq5Mg/v-deo.html
I was afraid to cut my DSP for fear of ruining/wasting it. No more. Thank you for this great tip.
I love the quick and easy cards and the suggestion to use the Designer Series paper without the suites. Who knew .. Thanks Jackie.
I have quite the DSP collection, and I think it's time to use it! Thanks for the help and good advice!
You're welcome! I have many more layout tutorials letting DSP be the focus. Some of my favorite cards is letting all the pretty paper do the work!
This is a great technique for making multiples to donate to charitable organizations! 🙂
Absolutely!
I have to make 30 thank you cards for a golfing event. I have the golf paper from last year. Going to use this formula. Thanks Jackie!
Jackie These are great designed cards & look very nice. Thabks for sharing all these with us! ❤🩹
Thanks for watching, Judy!
You are so true about knowing how to cut the paper. Thanks for sharing your ideas.

Love it and it’s simplicity!
I love the simplicity of this layout. I see so many cards that are overdone and it distract from letting the paper do the work.

This was great and I love your flexibility! You change your mind and get rid of first idea, so real. Very helpful vid.
I like the white better.

What size is the circle punch you used?
Could you add the product list?
Do you have a card for graduation
