This is a great review as I had purchased the capsule 3 as a gift. However what I found the capsule 3 annoying with is not bright enough. I would love to see your opinion on this when it is used during the day when the room is not blacked out. For me I haven't found an "affordable" projector which acts as a TV replacement if you wanna it use it during the day as well.
the different Capsule models look to be in the 150-300 lumen range so the Cosmos 4K SE is at least 6 times brighter and would be much better in a brighter room, though not great still, since the darkest part of the image is still as bright as the screen shows with the room lights and no projector.
What do you think is better out of this one or the Dangbei Mars Pro 4k. Since they are both in this price range? Thank you for all of your reviews, i love watching them!!!
Hello, I have a 30’ inflatable outdoor movie screen. Can I use this unit to display a film that big and if so will I lose the 4K quality because of the size and the distance of the projector ? I appreciate your reply and thank you.
I just received one. For the most part I do really like it, but I can’t find a fix for the huge amount of light bleed over the border of my projector screen. Is there some sort a setting for this? If not I will have to return this as I find the huge extra border unacceptable.
I recently encountered an issue with light bleed on my Epson projector, where excess light was spilling beyond the edges of the screen. This was particularly noticeable during darker scenes and was affecting the overall image quality. After some experimentation, I found a simple and effective solution that I'd like to share. To address the light bleed, I used black masking tape, applying it vertically along the edges of the projected image. This technique effectively blocked the excess light, preventing it from spilling onto adjacent surfaces. The result was a much clearer and more focused image, with improved contrast and detail. This method is similar to using a black velvet border on projector screens, which is designed to absorb stray light. It's a quick, cost-effective solution that doesn't require any changes to your projector settings or positioning. If you're experiencing similar issues with light bleed, I highly recommend giving this technique a try. It made a significant difference for me.
@@micapoan9 Thanks for the tip. My screen does have about a two inch velvet border around the screen. The light bleed of this projector even went way beyond that.
Considering 100" tvs are sitting in best uy for 2 grand, projectors are getting harder and harder to recommend to the average person who would be better served with a large format tv over a projector
I agree, I would have gotten a TV if it was on sale for 2k at the time. I have one which is really nice but at 3k setup not worth it anymore. Got prob 5 more years until it is done though.
@erictrent4331 I was confused by this also on amazon. The "upgraded" 2200 lumen version is the previous model with a brightness upgrade. It doesn't have all the same features as the 4k SE, only a higher brightness. (From what I have gathered in my research)
Good review. I bought this and love it. What tripod is that you mounted it on?

Nice review. May I know which stand or tripod you are using to hold this projector. It looks heavy.
Hey B! Thanks for the review. What screen are you using for the interior shots?

Which stand do you use?! My use case is stability for outdoors
Awesome projector and review, I will soon get it to upgrade my 10 yo Epson on my home theater 😊.
Would you go with the 4k SE or the nebula 4k laser?
What is th edufference?
Nice video keep up the good work B the installer
In general, how does this compare to the AWOL 3500? Is it 10x better in every way or is it comparable to it?? I am curious about your opinion. Thanks
Does the beamer have an included battery? If not, it should not be in the portable category.😢

How does it look in day light
What is your video source DIRECTV app or cable?
Hello JENN and B.😊😊
Do you know what import pay is normally without gaming mode?
How is the black level and contrast ? Most projectors were very disappointing when it comes to black levels... Most movies have a lot of dark scenes.
hi, what about fan noise?

No 🤭
portability and size flexibility

There is already an updated version of this from Anker. Its substantially more expensive.
You mean, this is the updated version, substatuonally less expensive. 👍
I just went to the Amazon link you posted. It linked to the old version at $1199. The update version is hundreds more.
@@erictrent4331 This is the new one.The more expensive one is the old one from a couple of years ago.

Ugly, putting a handle doesn't make it portable thats not going on holiday. Too long to sit on a shelf. Contast ratio 400:1. Shop elsewhere.
Looks cheap.
