I'm torn on this. The game is fun, paint system is oddly amazing. I have been painting tabletop minis for years off and on and the paint system feels so so good. The models are neat and the game mostly runs well. The multiplayer which is basically the meat and potatoes of the game as the AI is sort of lacking is rough. Over the 5 multiplayer games I played all of them were against people who had been playing a while (I was level 4 or something and my opponents were 30+ to give an example). Every game was effectively over by my 3rd turn and my only take away from each was "I have no idea how I lost". Ended up refunding for now. If the game takes off and the match making gets to a point you can actually get a decent game in I'll pick it up again.

Instead of matching you against a player with similar level, could the game balance out the level difference by giving you more action points?

​@@John-vf6jrLevels only represent the amount of experience/time a player has played the game.
This game has both ranked and general modes, it's just a bit difficult to match you with the same ranked players when there are very few of them.
Especially since probably half of the active players in this game are painting jobs.🫠

A modern Version of MegaMek (Battletech), similar like this would be MegaCool :)
