Exactly. The part of the movie that hit me hardest, and continues to haunt me, was the end. The look in that girl's eyes, knowing she would never be the same, that the happy, confident child she had been had been murdered and was gone forever. She was crippled for life emotionally. The poor father lost both his children, even though he got them back...

Jim Caviezel had to do research, to know what the agents were going through, so he watched some of the videos. He mentioned, in an interview that once many of these kids reach age 15, and are no longer useful on a daily basis, they are killed and their organs are harvested. He said it took him 2 years to get right after making this film.

Jim Caviezel adopted children and his third child was rescued from sex trafficking . Jim and his wife adopted the child years before he was asked to be in the movie . They auditioned many actors but Jim had such a close experience that the others didn’t have and it showed in the audition and Tim Ballard wanted Jim to play him as well . Eduardo Versategui didn’t know about Jim’s experience with the child he adopted . God orchestrated everything . It’s true those that say it’s a conspiracy and have stayed silent people such as Oprah , Megan Markle , Salma Hayek all those people with powerful platform have stayed silent , it speaks volumes. These people to me are involved one way or another when they don’t support and or attack this movie !

@@peachykeen7634- this fact may be why some people associate it with Q Anon - which touted beliefs like adrenochrome and blood harvesting of trafficked children.
Some recent notable proponents of the adrenochrome theory include former government agent Tim Ballard and actor Jim Caviezel, both of whom are linked to the box office hit, The Sound of Freedom.
Adrenochrome, which has no rejuvenating effects, and very questionable psychedelic properties, would have long faded into obscurity had it not been rejuvenated by the QAnon twaddle,” McGill University’s Office for Science and Society director Joe Schwarcz wrote, adding that claims that live humans must be used for adrenochrome extraction are false as the compound can be synthesized by researchers for research purposes.

Yeah there's a lot of inferring going on...the actual children have been pretty much forgotten already, it's become conspiracy fodder, trying to find the most contrived way of implicating people like Oprah Winfrey rather than any serious discussion about trafficking (we also need more focus on issues such as female genital mutilation). It would actually have been better for that purpose to have made a documentary not a 'based on a true story' drama that's in reality heavily fictionalised

@gohb29 The opposition is because of the elite world of pedophilia. This is $150 billion industry worldwide. The US southern border is wide open. It was reported in Congressional testimony that there are 85,000 children that are missing from DHS custody. Those are just the ones they know of. How do you lose 85,000 kids? There is a 4 part docuseries coming out soon about trafficking children of war out of Ukraine and the industry of organ harvesting. Selling children has become big business and the global elites and corrupt politicians are the only ones with the money to push this kind of system. If you look on Twitter and Rumble, there is plenty of evidence to back up these things. The more it comes to light, the harder media and the rich rail against it. It's only controversial because of who's involved and they don't want to be exposed.

The worse part is that in real life, the little girl wasn’t rescued. They added that in the movie to give it the feel good moment, but that didn’t really happen and she wasn’t found and rescued.

WHY would anyone object to this movie?..we all know child trafficking is prevalent all over the globe and this movie is trying to highlight that..anyone that objects must have an ulterior motive and trying to cover their ass as it's bringing the heat on them!...Well done to Mel Gibson and all the cast here... they've done an excellent job!

Angel Studios has said that these are just rumors and in fact AMC has added more showings for the movie.
Do you think the reports are all coincidences? I’m curious as to how many instances like this has happened during other movies. That way we can get a better idea if it’s coincidence or not.

The truly interesting point was that when Tim Ballard actually freed those children (and many more) in 2013, CBS showed it as a documentary on, I believe, 60 Minutes and had high praise for Ballard and his team as heroes! How times have changed since then!! Now, when calling pedophiles “Minor Attracted People”, society has taken a sick twist towards the dark side!

I am happy this movie came out cause people are talking about the topic but at the same time, I know its going to fade away like everything else. Didnt know it was PG 13 , thought it would have been more explicit or have more shock factor. The shock factor is needed to drill into peoples heads the evil of this world.
Still remmber watching born in the brothels years ago, nothing close to this but human trafficking is just evil but will truthfully never end.

    - Yeah, I had a family member in the RCMP, and he had told me how the child sex investigation units are always understaffed and come in under budget. Its just so unpopular, even other officers are kind of weird to those going into it as someone looking at the stuff everyday either gets weird and cracks or if they don't its just hard to not kind of sort of wonder if they are in it for access to all that material. So they just kind of get cold shouldered and not treated as warmly by fellow officers. Seems like a problem that needs a dedicated organization and task force devoted to it so no one involved has to deal with that unfortunate aspect.

Watched this movie last night. This movie showed the 'grooming' and s3xualzation of the youngest children in the simplest non-threatening way ... and the results of that grooming ... preying on the trust of parents and children ... it opens one's eyes ... see something, say something ... the movie states that the US is the largest consumer of this - dear Lord what has happened to our country? It is past time we me make a stand - 'God's children are not for sale'.

Excellent review! I couldn't have done a better job. The Sound of Freedom is a MUST-SEE! It will change your life and bring awareness to very important issues. You can't help but put yourself in the shoes of these kids, the father, Tim, and his wife while watching it. The audience clapped after the movie, and it felt so good to experience my community like that.
Tim Ballard and his wife are living heroes, thank goodness for GOOD PEOPLE!!
Pray for the light of god to shine on those who are experiencing and have experienced trafficking. Let the perpetrators be found and dealt with so the occurrence of this issue is little to none ❤️🤍💙
