Good review, but one thing you said is incorrect. Tim Ballard isn't a vigilante. He works closely with the U.S. and local governments, trains the local police if necessary and won't do a rescue mission unless there is post-rescue support for the children, which they will fund if necessary. Mad respect to this man and his wife, he was close to receiving a whopping government pension when he ditched his job.

If you have listened to real interviews with Tim, after the kids have been trafficked for 10 years, things get worse because after the sex trade, they are either sold for body parts or forced to have kids and those kids either go into the industry or are sold for body parts. They rescued one child who was solely born for body parts and he already had his spinal fluid sucked out of his body. I think they said that they brought him to doctors who have new technology and the child is adopted and doing okay now but if he wasn't rescued, eventually, once his organs are gone he would die.

Angel Studios is at 13.2 million tickets paid forward as of July 31st! Thanks for your great review! .04% of trafficked children are rescued - with that realization this movie does and incredible job introducing this subject to a person who is unaware, and thus needs to be shared with others, we all need this to stop - even the so called writers at Rolling Stone, who have no honour and they have confessed this by what they have written about this. Jim said he studied the types of tapes that Tim looked at routinely, so to say this film scratches the surface is an understatement, he said he couldn't sleep without nightmares for 2 straight years - a price he would pay to get the message out as best he could....

It was such a great movie. We went on the 4th of July early and it's good we were early. The theature was packed and it was so quiet during the showing that it was like being in a church. You do need a package of kleenex and you will be overwhelmed by it. I would recommend everyone see it.

My parents saw this at the theater while me and my brother were at Church camp. My mom watches alot of spiritual films and her and Dad both loved this one. I'm 16 and my brother is 13 so I don't know if they'll show it to us or not.

You sound very mature for 16. I believe you can handle it. I'm taking my neighbor and her teenage daughters. I think it's important for young people to be aware there are very bad people out there.

I saw the movie and I paid to see it. Anyone who turns a blind eye after watching this movie on what is being said about child sex slavery something is wrong with them.

Hard hitting stuff that will stick with you long after you leave the theater. Some scenes are still running through my mind a week later.

Sound of Freedom, is the best movie that has been produced in the last 20 years. Based on a horrible and sad reality that is happening all over the world. Emotion and tears when watching this movie come out of the eyes of those of us who love GOD and his Creation. GOD Save the Children from those who want to harm them. Go with your family to watch this movie, you won't regret it. 1000% Recommended!

There are 40 million estimated slaves around the world, never has there been a time throughout any point in recorded history that there has been so much slavery as there is today, and the government and main stream media covers it up… which should tell you everything you need to know

What a lovely monologue. Beautiful words. My only wish and prayer is for peace and suffering to end. Sadly, think all is futile.

4:44 you’ll get emotional. You’ll cry. You’ll get mad. You might even want to get violent. I caught myself multiple times in the movie almost cutting into my own hands with how tight I was balling my fists. And it SHOULD make you want to get violent. Because violence, when directed by a worthy cause, transforms and is ennobled into righteous fury. And this should invoke righteous fury.
Go see it. Please. Go see it.
