Ableton! lol, I'm a Ableton DnB\House producer that got into making UK Drill about 6 months ago. Been an interesting road since every tutorial I watch is made with FL Studio. I can't open all the projects and racks\presets like others be using to learn, and the Drill MIDI bass sample files don't glide like they should, etc. But I've been making it work. Ableton finally updated the MIDI note glide, so that's a big help with the 808s. I can definitely see some advantages both have on each other. Got a feeling I'm gonna pick up FL Studio this year as it looks fun and there's some MIDI roll shit and hotkey commands that I wanna fuck with. Seems like it's got a good flow for Drill, shit that saves time in the long run over Ableton on some processes common with this type of music. Plus my mate rocks it so it would be nice to collabo. and apparently, I can open FL Studio has a VST inside of Ableton as well. On a side note; are there any strictly Ableton users that are a heavy weight in the Drill scene?
I feel you I love Ableton for it's live feature where you don't have too put too much quantization you can just record and move to next pattern and everything sounds still good without sounding to robotic.
@@hl8tv Drill trap. I know people won’t accept you at first but you try something from the heart, with your talent, it would be something to sign up for.
@@ДжонСнежный no because you're pretty limited in fl. In ableton I can use unlimited amount of plugins on one channel. You also have a better overview when you mix and not this weird channel linking like in fl

Both Ableton and FL are equally nice. Learn both and be inspired by different workflows. You win either way.

i see producers use both that’s probably what i’ll do one day but for now it’s ableton live all day!!!
I'd recommend Ableton most of the time even though I use FL, I like FL for trival things like, looks better and has a better piano roll
Yeah fl studio have better piano roll, piano roll in ableton is trash
