Nice HD DVD collection Dude! I love the collection of your movies, I only have like around 12 titles. I wish HD DVD was still around today, HD DVD should’ve replaced the Regular DVDs.
@@TGWMofficial That is not true. Here in Germany there are no Blu-Ray/ DVD combo packs and the dvd shelfes in stores are often way bigger than the blu ray ones
Pretty cool collection though I will admit that out of all of these, I have only seen Transformers and The Polar Express and the only HDDVDs that I own are Hulk and Transformers (both sealed)
That's actually very interesting! I never thought of that. Most of those are a mouthful to say but I like the sound of UHD DVD. But I'm not sure if those would have taken off though. The DVD makes it sound low quality and outdated, Blu-Ray OTOH sounds more modern and "hi-def."
I was collecting HD-DVDs, but I stopped collecting when my Hulk disc failed on me (it is Universal, and didn't have any scratches or visible rot). Is that a problem with the disc or my player (which I got used at Value Village)
Blu-Ray is definitely way better quality than HD DVD. Much more punchy and bassy audio. I'm kind of glad Blu-Ray won the format wars, the support just wasn't there for HD DVD and the whole quality thing above. Plus having both HD and DVD in the name of the format is pretty paradoxical if you think about it. It's like having a format called 4K VHS. Just me rambling.
That's a hot take. Identity is my favorite though and I guess Supremacy was alright too. I did not care for Ultimatum at all, same with Jason Bourne. I haven't seen Legacy yet though I've heard pretty mixed things about it.
I'm kinda glad BR won the format wars too but there just wasn't enough support behind HD DVD to make it last. Only 3 studios made HD DVDs, Paramount, Universal and WB. It wasn't going to last the way almost all studios jumped on the bandwagon for BR so it was inevitable.
You should listen to With_Teeth by NIN, since it's the album from the tour of the Beside You In Time concert. Pretty good album, but you should also listen to The Fragile and The Downward Spiral before to see if you like their music.
I Have Peter Jackson's King Kong ('05) on [Blu-ray] It Features Both Theatrical Version & Extended Edition The Extended Edition is 200 Minutes Which is Longer Than It's Theatrical Version And That's 187 Minutes I Watch The Extended Edition More It's Better But Don't Say Peter Jackson's King Kong ('05) is Better Than Kong: Skull Island (2017) I Like That Too (edited on 8/20/2020) I Use to Like Superman: Returns But Ever Since Man of Steel Came Out I Started Liking That More Than Superman: Returns I Have "BumbleBee + Transformers 5 Movie Collection" Also on [Blu-ray] & Which I Do Have Man of Steel on [Blu-ray] Along With Other DCEU Movies I Have Also on [Blu-ray] Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman, Justice League, Aquaman & Shazam! (edited on 5/5/2020) I Finally Own Superman/Batman 9-Film Set But I Watched Superman: Returns I Take It Back It was Still as Great as I Remember I Like Both Now But Man of Steel More
Never got around to Peter Jackson's King Kong. Just so long and haven't had the time for it. Probably will soon. Never saw the entirety of Superman Returns either. Just bits and pieces of it but that one's super long too.
Some of the WB HD DVDs were notorious for disc rot.
Nice HD DVD collection Dude! I love the collection of your movies, I only have like around 12 titles. I wish HD DVD was still around today, HD DVD should’ve replaced the Regular DVDs.
Nice! Yeah I agree. Nobody buys SD DVDs anymore. They come in the Blu-Ray combo packs anyway.
That’s is cool! I just found some more HD DVDs a few days ago, I have like 4 HD DVDs that are still sealed!
@@TGWMofficial That is not true. Here in Germany there are no Blu-Ray/ DVD combo packs and the dvd shelfes in stores are often way bigger than the blu ray ones
@@TGWMofficial DVD sells more than Blu Ray. So lots of people are buying DVDs.

Your collections are incredible 300 is a awsome movie
Thank you! Agreed. The sequel wasn't as good though.
No problem keep up the good work! In my opinion I dint mind the sequel but the first was better
I’ve still got my hddvds about 50 or so and a German T2
This goes hard
Dat collection lookin kinda *T H I C C*
Lol
I wonder if HDVD won the format war would we have gotten 3D HD DVD and 4K Ultra HD HD DVD or UHD DVD
That's actually very interesting! I never thought of that. Most of those are a mouthful to say but I like the sound of UHD DVD. But I'm not sure if those would have taken off though. The DVD makes it sound low quality and outdated, Blu-Ray OTOH sounds more modern and "hi-def."
@@TGWMofficial I'm sure would be 3D HD DVD not sure about 4K HD DVD
Just 4K DVD
How did bluray beat hd dvd?
I was collecting HD-DVDs, but I stopped collecting when my Hulk disc failed on me (it is Universal, and didn't have any scratches or visible rot). Is that a problem with the disc or my player (which I got used at Value Village)
Some HD DVDs can delaminate and glitch on you. But you shouldn't quit collecting just because some discs don't play super great.
Cool video
Thanks!
Nice HD DVD Collection Do You have The Fast And The Furious 2Fast 2Furious The Fast And The Furious Tokyo Drift On HD DVD Or Twister
Constantine was really good
Thanks!
One of my favs
I read HDDVD is more compressed then Blu ray disc only has about half bit rate not all have Lossless audio.

Bourne Supremacy is the best movie. Way better than Identity. Even Ultimatum is better than Identity.

I'm Glad Everyone Choose Blu-Ray Over HD-DVD
Blue isn't my Favourite Colour but Red's my Favourite Colour
But I Love Blu-Ray #GoBluRay #FuckHDDVD

I have 46 Films (10 of which don't work [Warner Bros] ) + 3 TV Series.
You should listen to With_Teeth by NIN, since it's the album from the tour of the Beside You In Time concert. Pretty good album, but you should also listen to The Fragile and The Downward Spiral before to see if you like their music.
Will do. Thanks!
Amazing.
Thanks!
Nice collection. I back mine up to DVD-DL in compliant format that works on HD-DVD players. I have a tut on my channel.
Watched a couple of your vids and I like how you do that! Pretty cool to see new movies on the HD DVD format!
The ones you have that will not play have rotted.
I didn't see any rotting on the discs the way you see it on Laserdiscs. Could be different.
@@TGWMofficial Most Warner brothers titles have disc rot dont play.
Would watch but this video is littered with ads

Wait What Van Helsing Was Released On HD DVD
Yes it was. A good amount of Universal titles were released on HD DVD.
Hope you are better. :)
Thank you for the kind words! This is almost 2 years old though...
HD-DVDs are NOTORIOUS for disc rot.
No protective coat like Blu ray disc.
@@RobertK1993 That is not what causes disc rot.
Tom Hill It doesn’t help that it lacks it.
Warner brothers titles are worst

How much do you want me to talk? I have to say at least something about the movies.
