I played the demo and I jumped right into the skirmish map where there is rain. It’s a good challenge to build roofs otherwise your fighters will miss their shots. Definitely would recommend you doing a run where there is rain after you’re done reaching wave 100. 😁

The tactician roost goes behind your troops. The banners are quite good for cannoneers and ballistae.
At some point you sub your basic archers for rangers and partisan

First, subbed and found you due to Cataclismo. While it might be a bit late to comment but the seed "Sandpoint" I've been able to use the center starting resource nodes without needing to go to map-edge. Its so far my favorite map. Sandpoint is the city in the first Paizo D&D adventure converted to Pathfinder, we do a live stream of it and its been a huge inspiration.
You can really put the air filters in the two towers at the citadel, just face the pathway sign on the stairs

Only thing different I would love to have on day one was some blueprints for basic towers for quick setup. Other than that I am loving the game and some of the randomization for maps need tweaked a little.
I imagine those blueprints won't be long from steam workshop :)

As I'm bingeing FWIW your Elite quarters was messed up at some point (on top of a rock 🤪) when you switched to a newer Cataclismo build. Assumed you fixed it off screen but apparently in the heat of the battle it was lost.
Follow up after correction a bit later: Ah, oxygen. Nice trick, I'd honestly have assumed the elites would disappear if you removed the building. Does that mean you can kill your barracks too?
Yes, all of them can be removed if army is maxed out
Ive played the early access for 8 hours and its been amazing. Im just a little confused on how the mistfuel is gathered, i know you use the mist condenser but do you have to replace it for more? since it gets me 8 mistfuel then i use that and it doesnt give me more when its empty? i hope that makes sense.
it's a balance. So if you have 10 and a unit uses 2, it permanently stays 2 less. it is used the same as population usage.

You have to get mist collectors first

Yes
the game changes dramatically on hard difficulty. On early game they are one hitting ur troops.
