Notre Dame is actually quite small. In comparison, the Vatican, its Basilica, is kinda two or three times bigger than the Circus Maximus. That's a Basilica, Notre Dame is just a Cathedral.

You can send an army to attack a camp by themselves by ordering them to go there on the map with right click. Not sure if it will claim the flag though.

Well the Necropolis is literally the "City of Dead ones". It's a cemetary and a kind of temple to venerate the deads. It's usually located outside the Pomerium (city limits) of the City.

Just a piece of info, sometimes your villagers fall into areas they won't get out of as workers, the way to get them out is put them on guard duty and they will crawl out on their own. I don't know why they won't as workers.

Well about factions I can tell some. - Scipioni family was an aristocratic family of Rome. Scipio "the African" was the guy who defeated Hannibal and destroyed Carthage. - Carthaginians was a rival City-State of Rome during the Republican era, t was mostly a commercial empire, but both cities hated each others and the wars fought against each others was called "Punic Wars" (from the ethnic group of the Carthaginisns, aka "Phoenicians" - Punics). - Sassanids was the royal lineage of Persia during Medieval times, when they fought against the Byzantine Empire, a successor state of the Roman Empire correspective of the "Eastern Roman Empire" which capital was Constantinople, today Istambul, in Turkey. Sassanids was roughly destroyed and conquered first by Mongols and later by Muslims turning their country in what is today called as "Iran". While the name is the western name of their country/nation. - Hoplites was the foot soldier of ancient Greeks. Usually spearmen that fought in a formation called "Phalanx", they was the spine of every greek army of ancient era until the arrive of Alexander the Great, his father Philip the Second (Macedons these two) that introduced a more complex form of Phalanx equipped with long spears, pikes. Indeed they was more pikemen rather than Hoplites. Just... the earlier version of that stuff. They need to make it where you UPGRADE houses. Would save some time.

You'll never get the full yield from those vegetable plots and orchards unless you have four families in them, as level three double burgages, which looks really strange, having huge townhouses out in the countryside - to be more realistic, the tradespeople would have been those upgraded soonest, simply because they would have become wealthiest. You are still making people commute to another zone for work, which is a very 20th-century concept. It just didn't exist before then except in a few areas with highly specialised industries.

The metal ore nodes can run out. If you have a level 3 mining structure, they can continue to extract ore even when the vein has been exhausted. That's why the vein remains on the map even when exhausted

They should also have marriages in the game and children.

I'd do the double meat cards along with hunting grounds if you're stuck with what to get you might be surprised, set your deer to 14

You should have hit back straight away with a claim, he doesn't have an army at that point

Tip: Have all warriors carry a quiver. They can then carry spare arrows for your longer raiding trips. It's a cheap way to carry spares. If some don't have arrows then you can grab all the sturdy arrows that drop and bring them back home. Saving resources and production time.

The word is pronounced gam-besson not gameson (unless maybe your sheep produce lames), and if you had ever had the misfortune to wear mail without a gambeson underneath it (as I have, both with and without), you would realise why the gambeson was always worn, with or without chain or plate mail over it, although the full thickness of gambeson with up to nine layers of stitched linen was usually not worn underneath anything. Surprisingly, such thick ones were very effective as armour, and chainmail was only harder wearing, and no more effective against most weapons. As a first layer of armour, no more than five layers were usually worn, and often only three or four. But they were essential to stop your mail ripping your skin to shreds.

You could position your mercenaries at Wildfeld to guard it until it has its own garrison. Industrial zoning is an invention of the US automotive industry so that people needed a car for their commute and their market would be vastly expanded. In medieval villages and towns, people lived where they worked, so they had barely any commute. Much more efficient, and you won't get the look of a medieval village or town without emulating it. Commuting on foot wastes half the day in winter, end even in summer about a third. Distances matter, particularly between work camps or cabins and their work areas because everything is moved one at a time, instead of ten at a time between the workplace and granary/storehouse.
