Oh Dear Girl Darlene, life gos on. I’m 76 and raising my two surviving grandchildren after our family traumatic tragedies. My only son and daughter both died. Hell. We feellike we are pretty much all alone except my granddaughter has her boyfriend and his family. My grandson and l face the world alone. He is absolutely brilliant and science is his thing. He carries an A+ average at 13, while l am “retired”and do laundry, cook and dishes and fail at keeping the house decent. I work at it. Same thing happened to me with Patreon that’s why I had to join as a member because I had to have the bank cancel my payments because I couldn’t logon because I somehow ended up with two accounts and I couldn’t log on to either one. So I canceled my payments to Patreon and I joined you as a you tube member instead!

We have so many seasons of our lives. This is another one for you.
Give it time…… you will probably miss Rocket more than the man. Living with someone and adjusting life or them adjusting their life after a certain age is VERY DIFFICULT and it’s amazing how after a certain age you aren’t as willing to sacrifice your precious time on earth to always be trying to fix or make someone else happy that isn’t already. One thing age gives us is wisdom about ourselves and what we need to live comfortably. Sounds selfish but if you aren’t selfish for yourself then who the Hell else is going to be for you. I’d rather be alone and happy than miserable and stuck with someone.

I'm so sorry to hear about you & Joe and that Rocket is gone, too. Just remember the good times and there were many and you have come such a long way. I've been where you are and believe it or not, things can get so much better for you. People don't always break up, because you don't love each other and that is when it really hurts the worse. I'm glad you are able to get out and dance and be with your friends and even cry. I find it almost impossible to cry, because it makes me so numb and the crying must be so healing. You'll be OK in the end, but my heart still breaks for you.
Just thinking of you and hope you can remain friends. Life goes on. Not easy.
It's good to have time to be alone. Time to realize that you aren't 'lonely' anymore and that is when you can choose how you really want to live. Or...push through. Either way, we all reap what we have sown, for better or worse. Good luck.

Hi Darlene, That exact thing happened to me over a year ago. I had a problem with my computer when I took it to a technician and he told me I had spyware on my computer about the same time I changed phone service and got a new number. I changed email and my phone number at same time. Wherever I had 2-step verification I ran into same problem, except on FB. I tried and tried, went through all there steps, even sent ID info they asked for to prove it was me. Everything is automated, so I couldn’t talk to a person to fix it. The automated system sent me codes to log it but it kept going to my old number. On top of that I probably drove the person who got my old number crazy from my trying to make FB understand I couldn’t get to that number any longer, So my account is there, my husband and I can see it, but I can;t get to it and there’s no one to listen to my problem!! I told all my friends and family, make sure you don’t change both things at the same time, or turn off 2 step verification before you do it!
