wow! i do artistic inline skating and your videos are helping me so much at the beginning of this video i could barely do any backwards skating without shaking so bad in fear, it took me some good 2 hours of trying and error and two falls backwards but i can now skate backwards better than i could've ever imagined my level of confidence just sky rocketed 🤩 i'm not shaking nearly as bad anymore lol
I'll be practicing my backward stroking tomorrow and I remembered this video from a month ago. Such a great explanation and wonderful videos of skaters of various levels. This has been very helpful for me!
Push - glide - stop I'm assuming the backwards T-stop is same as forward T-stop...whereby the outside edge is executed ? Thank you in advance . Your videos are very helpful...in fact...I'm thinking by practicing this , I will eventually get use to backward cross rolls ?
I use outside edge to do forward T-stop, but I place my free leg in front of my skating leg. In the backward T-stop my free leg is behind and I use inside edge. And you have a great idea about cross rolls. I think this exercise with backward stroking and T-stop can help you with learning backward cross rolls. 👍
I love your 'from beginner to advanced skater' videos. Keep them coming, please!
Your videos are very helpful. I appreciate you have tips for every level.
Thank you for watching! I’m so glad you find the videos helpful. I try to include tips for all levels to support every skater’s journey!
