Hi TW, can you compare the Tecnifibre 300 RS and Head Extreme Tour. What’s the difference in feel, which one has a more cổmtable, stability and more connected feel? I’m not a fan of rackets that feel hollow, tinny and muted. (Don’t like the Ezone 98, muted and stiff hoop)
We would give the slight edge to the Extreme Tour for the comfort, and connected feel. Comfort is pretty close between the the two but a bit better with the Extreme Tour. The connected feel is a bit better with the Extreme Tour, feeling a bit more solid, and the slightly thinner beam at the tip and yoke. Stability is pretty comparable between the two. Troy, TW
@@tenniswarehouse In stock form, I assume the RS is more easier to play with and has more putaway power? Lots of reviews have said the Extreme Tour really needs some lead tape to get it going, stock form it has some stability issues? Also on TWU the twistweight of the 300 is higher. Does the foam-filling not do that much in this racket?
Still have the Ti Radical OS such a pain to string. Needed almost 21 feet for the mains. If that version came out in a 16/19 string pattern I would buy in a heart beat.
The bumblebee radical mid plus is indeed the best, and a beast. I capped mine and it comes in at 12.8 ounces with insane plow through and perfect stiffness. No other radical compares to it. The Zebra radical mid plus just too soft but just as heavy with insane plow through. All other radicals not worth trying. Agassi himself never played with any of the later models but the original under all the paint jobs Head deceived their consumers with.
Any idea if the Wilson blade 98 v8 is coming out any time soon? I’m debating on just picking up the v7 from tennis warehouse or waiting for the new one. Thanks!
We have not heard anything, as far as a particular release date. We would like to think maybe sometime closer to 2022, or later on in the Fall of this year, but nothing we know for certain. Troy, TW
Can we hear from HEAD or perhaps a well respected distributor like Tennis Warehouse address why the traditional 107 sq in 18x19 Radical Oversize was discontinued after the Youtek/IG? I understand the Microgel Radical is still mass produced and sold but I mean why new Oversize are not introduced anymore.
@Sa Sa, I actually think we covered that topic a bit in the full podcast, you can check it out here: ua-cam.com/video/2Td8IUxBNOU/v-deo.html Michelle, TW
Racquets are such a personal, subjective choice. I’ve tried many racquets over 40 yrs. of playing tennis but I always gravitate back to my Ti Radical MP’s, with 18 grams of lead tape added at 3 & 9. For whatever reason that stick just feels right in my hand.
@@DavidGao1988, The MicroGEL Radical MP, and a pack of lead tape! haha. But based on stock specs of that Radical Tour you would likely find a racquet like the Yonex VCORE Pro 97HD 18x20 to feel pretty good. Also, the ProKennex Ki Q+ Tour Pro 325, Tecnifibre TF40 315, and Wilson Blade 98 18x20 v7 (but with some weight added to the handle). Troy, TW
Hi! Id like to buy a nike gp turbo, but I dont know which size. I have a yonex eclipsion 3 I wear 46 eu (12us I believe) so should I stay in my true size or go up a half size?
Why take out the oversize versions and change the throat to a more circular shape from a more rectangular that was perfectly fine until after 2015.Please remake the oversize versions for the players who want to keep the classic feel.
The 2nd Twin Tube is The Candy Cane! I still use 2 of them in the MP 18x20 - just perfect imo.
Also please release the true Djokovic pt346 radical. The speed is way too different.
Great to see all of them!
Bring back the true Agassi radical OS. Not just a paintjob.

Head liquidmetal radical OS L3 ... the best rocket I've ever played with .... I've never had a chance to have a better rocket ...
I have always used the MP version. I liked all the old versions.but LM is my choice! never change a winning team!

As you said. The zebra was a success why discontinued it ?
More expensive to produce it? You know...

I wish they released different color option for radical.
Head don’t need new mode or new tech, just sell pt630 only and it will rock business.

What are the current/recent models (any brands) in the market which have the similar feel as Liquidmetal Radical MP?
Likely the closest is the Head MicroGEL Radical MP, www.tennis-warehouse.com/Head_MicroGEL_Radical_Midplus/descpageRCHEAD-HMGRAD.html. Troy, TW
@@tenniswarehouse Thanks Troy. For Liquidmetal Radical MP Tour, any current/recent models close to it?
