Am5 bracket is mainly for keeping thermal paste out of the gaps of the cpu. The temps don't change much for it, because the cpu is square. Cpu brackets matter a lot with intel 12th-14th gen, because they a longer cpu causing warpage with the default ILM bracket. Anyways, it's always fun to do your first pc build :)

Hello, nice build! I had a quick question, for when you added the second ssd, did you take off only the one heatsink or do you have to take off both? Because there's two heatsinks on under that panel.

thank u! for the second ssd, i only removed the thermal pad that was on the heat sink for the working ssd only. the other thermal pad is left unused and untouched, for my future ssd :)
