Production values aside, these two are perfect to demo the Nextone for someone like me that ends up using clean-ish tones most of the time. I have the Blues Cube Artist, and I really like the different power levels. The half watt setting is still pretty loud of you have master up high, and I've never used it at a gig past the 45 watt setting. I imagine it will be the same the Nextone series. Thanks for the demo.

man, i didnt read the full title of this video and clicked on it not knowing who was presenting the amp, and I heard the first guitar lick and thought "man that sounds like pete honore" and then it totally was. it takes one hell of a player to be recognized by a 3 second lick

    The team up at last!
Could do with a 15min jam session included.
Amp wise, gonna need a few a-b comparisons (e.g blackstar tvp vs, orange rockverb vs and Supro vs) not keen on amps having controls anywhere but the front, therfore preventing stacking, not mention protection from drink spillage.

Hello Boss folks, I just got mine and the tones are awesome. But I noticed 2 things that worry me. I could not get the tone editor on my mac to connect to the nextone ( on a windows computer it worked fine ) and there is a audible gap when switching from clean to dirty . That would make life use of this amp difficult. I did not expect that from a Boss product 😳. Can these be fixed ?

Was interested until I saw that the 40w weighs around 30 lbs and even though that's pretty light, I have a back issue and even that is kinda heavy when you lug it all over the place. My Quilter heads weigh 2 lbs each, and my Fender Bassbreaker 1x12 cabs weigh around 20 lbs each. Nice and light and the sound is pretty decent. This demo is a bit awkward I must say.

You could not have picked two more capable guitarists.
However, the room setup with two players facing each other, 'advanced' lighting and camera angles created a forced and inauthentic impression in me.
I actually don't think the conversation in and of itself was scripted, but the planned and elaborate format didn't jive with it. I'm still interested in the amp, because some of the sounds really are great. All in my opinion, of course.

I’m not taken with this amp I could with a bit of tweaking get close if not match the tones of this amp with my Katana although I wouldn’t be able to replicate the tube logic response. If I was going by this type of solidstate amp I’d go for a blues cube much nicer 👍

I am all for this idea, I hate spending money on tubes and all unreliability issues that come along however the driven sounds seem fizzy, dynamic but thin and harsh. Maybe they can be dialed in but at least I cannot say I am sold based on this. I like boss products but this did not hit home with me.

The amps sound good and the guitarists demonstration was excellent with this exception: guitar players want to hear the product and specs. Unnecessary dialogue didn't explain anything to me since I got lost in the conversation.
