I LOVE Kristap...he reminds me of a more talented Rik Smits which shows you how old I am! Lol However, looking at his body type, I hope he can stay healthy but he's built all wrong for his past style of play. He comes down too gingerly on his knees too often. It's basically like he's walking on stilts. I'm not a NBA personal trainer but I do workout and I hope they put him through a crazy rehab which includes working on his upper body mass, his core and lower extremities besides his knees. If he stays healthy he and Luka will be akin to watching a young Bird and Dirk so I'm hoping for the best for the duo. Luka is something we haven't seen before though.

He plays at a slower pace and knows how to stay at that pace regardless of defense so he slows down the pace when he has the ball

Yeah i was glad to see Wesley Matthews in this. To me it was a big sign that Matthews mentorship of DFS isn't over yet. Been seeing him in his ear since day 1 of DFS career. DFS isn't a guy you will ever overhype of have high expectations for so he seems destined to exceed what's assumed of him. Either way he's a stud defender and will just get better even if the rest becomes stale.
