I feel like the smarter move would've been to make him a spellcaster so he could Repairio the stove instead of replacing it with money, usually it's a pretty fast spell to learn with Scruberoo too, to clean the stove so that the sim isnt uncomfortable.
I've played this scenario and I found that when I got the grillmaster reward trait from the reward store, my sim had way less fires happening. So that's a little tip if you plan to try this scenario again
what if you snagged always welcome from the rewards store and did your cooking in other people's houses? get the perks of the landgraabs' fancy stove and, oh, it burned up? whoops, sorry friends, on to the caliente's hehe
Upgrading the bed is Definitely useful in a single or double sim household but when you want all your children sims to sleep through the night, not ideal
This actually seems like an interesting scenario! I haven't played with scenarios before because they seemed kinda boring. I'll have to try this one though!

This Scenario would be great if it offered a trait along with the standard reward. Something like fireproof. Never fear fire again.
My 4-year-old son started clapping when you went "Scenario complete!!" A 2nd generation fan of James in the making! 😀

now I kinda want to see how long it'd take to complete the 1M challenge selling bathtubs...
Am I the only one excited that this is 47 minutes long 😂💙👍🏼 sooo excited!, I started this scenario and omg soo much fun.
Imagine ruining two brand new stoves cooking the same cheese sandwich.
"it's actually kinda handy" - james about the handiness skill
Gordon Ramsay: “I’ve spent my entire career learning how to perfect Beef Wellington.”
can’t believe it’s been 8 years and we finally got story progression

“He’s a loner because I don’t know how much socializing we’ll be doing.”
I love how in true chef fashion James only renovated the kitchen while neglecting the rest of the house. Love that touch of realism. Lol
I wonder what would happen if the chef also got the Freelance Botanist achievement award of "Naturalist" and was fireproof?
"Why does he insist on getting the expensive stove? He's gonna have to keep replacing it"

Imagine doing this scenario with a clumsy sim who hates cooking.
And thus, those weird, raw-only diets came into prominence!
