The #beechcraft 58 Baron evolved from a long line of aircraft that have become pilot favorites over the decades. Beginning with the Beechcraft Bonanza introduced in 1947, Beechcraft soon realized a need for a twin to fill the gap between the Model 35 Bonanza and the much larger Model 50 Bonanza. From what I've read, piston twins have very low resale , which largely stems from having an hourly fuel cost of "if you have to ask you can't afford it"

For a similar price, you can get a DA62, and that doesn't look like it was made in the 60s.
