I used to fly this aircraft years ago ! It was a beautiful aircraft then, looks great with the new interior 👍🏼 glad to see she’s still getting about and well kept.
I’ve seen some amazing views out of those windows !
That’s awesome! What are you flying now?
@@diamondairtaxis flying for an airline now, but still having conversations about the trips I used to do in the baron ! 👌🏼
I have just stumbled across your video but recognized the paint on the engine cowling immediately haha 😂 had to check the serial number on the rego listing.
Is she used for charter now ??
Haha. Cool.
Just found your channel and that is one very sweet Baron ✈️ Nice flight Mate
Thanks! The owner has done a great job with the interior and avionics upgrade.
Bird strike 19:24
I’ve also added another 1 minute clip in 4K 200 fps of the bird strike in slow motion. Much clearer.
@@diamondairtaxis Looked more like a bird split.
Great content sir, can’t believe your channel is so small.
Thanks! It’s a new channel so hopefully it will grow soon!
Great video. As a note for future reference, I would have taxied to parking after the bird strike and done a thorough visual inspection to confirm there was no obvious damage that may indicate precluding flight again until appropriately addressed. Best Regards
Thanks Kerry. Yes that’s what I did - I just didn’t video that part. No damage was evident. What was interesting to me is that I had no idea the prop strike occurred until I watched it in slow motion some time later at home. I had incorrectly assumed that if the prop had been struck I would have noticed!
Steve my first time on your channel and my favorite piston twin is and flown in is the B58
That’s great. I am enjoying flying the G58 Baron a lot. Keeps you on your toes!
Looking forward to seeing some real IFR footage in flight weather conditions IMC
What year Baron?
2006 but has had recent NXi and interior upgrades
2 birds with one prop.
Yeah not bad!
