That being said, I think Aventus and GIT are probably the most versatile regarding casual/work/formal/day/night/season, etc. Thanks for the review!

I little while ago I ordered a sample set from The Creed Boutique which included Aventus, Silver Mountain Water, and Virgin Island Water and I absolutely loved SMW (which might as well be my favorite scent in my collection and signature scent) and VIW. I wanted to like Aventus so much because I love pineapple but I could NOT smell pineapple at all and I was completely disappointed. Hate it so far but my nose is not as “trained” yet so maybe I just have to let it grow on me and learn to love more complex scents.
As for now my favs are GIT, Viking and Aventus. But at the same time I love Bois du Portugal and Millesime Imperial. But it's from GIT, where I fell in love in frags community ;)

I'm late for this party but how about Neroli Savage Creed? A beast of a summer fragrance in my opinion. I think what makes Creed such a power house of a fragrance design house is they are sure footed in the scents they put out. And no flankers, this is a powerful mind set.
I was all in on buying Green Irish Tweed, until you said it smelled a bit like Coolwater. I hate Davidoff's Coolwater. Kinda grosses me out. However, perhaps I'll get a sample of GIT to take home, and try it myself.

I have really enjoyed your offerings and have to look forward to your reviews. Question, When you say it smells "musky" what exactly is that used to describe? You used it a few times once describing Santal as musky dryer sheet and once in the Oud. I always thought musk would be a damp earthy smell. But I love dryer sheet smell so maybe I've missed some scents described as musky.
Musk originally was a perfume ingredient derived from a musk deer. It's rarely ever used now, so perfume companies use man-made musks instead. It's kind of difficult to describe, but they smell sort of airy and warm. Many laundry detergents and dry sheets have these musks in their scent because it's one of the few ingredients that can stand up to the heat of a dryer. So you might be able to recognize musk by that type of comparison. The damp earth smell you mentioned is probably another accord. Patchouli can really give that impression.
Two words, "atomize it!" I don't leave the house without my keys, celly, and many times an atomizer. For MI, every 2-3 hours, a couple hits...im good.😎

Aventus is so overly popular now a great fragrance but now unfortunately it carries the old spice or Brut controversy now. Everyone knows Aventus even my nan with an iron lung knows what it smells like! But Green Irish Tweed hell yeah that's the champ of all time!
I owned Aventus and Millisime Imperial and wasn't impressed with either of them after all I had heard and read about them. I would take Dior or Chanel scents over Creeds any day of the week. They smell far more elegant and are obviously much cheaper in cost.

All i get is a shitty cheap synthetic lemonish smell insect spray like.....directly to trash can....Only Parfums Vintage Emperor extrait is a good clone but yet Aventus is the king PERIOD.

They recently did a redesign of their bottles. The one I have is an older design, but was also a 2.5oz. The older 4oz bottles were also black.
