Don’t know why but I’ve always been a sucker for Original Vetiver and Vetiver Geranium. I also find Himalaya to be very underrated as well as Jardin de Amafili.
my top 5 are.. 1 king aventus 2 millesime imperial 3 original santal 4 silver mountain water 5 GIT HM: erolfa..sublime vanille..spice n wood..virgin island water
Hello Dallas, how are you? Thank you for that great video and list. My infatuation with Creed is over. I do like Virgin Island water, Aventus Cologne and Aventus, Royal water but Silver Mountain water is my favorite. Stay safe brother
I'm a woman, that loves watching Creed men cologne reviews 😆 I find this fragrance house fascinating. Only ones I've smelled are Aventus and Green Irish Tweed, dry down on both are incredible
@@travisn346 I was so disappointed with the Millesime. :( It smells amazing but on my skin it's gone within a matter of an hour or 2, and I even found the same result on a test card from Saks. It was the first to fade. On the contrary, I can still smell the VIW 3 days later. ALL of my Parfums De Marly cards still smell incredible. Which I find most amusing considering I was standing there at the PDM booth thinking "the people raving about this house are crazy" smelling the initial sprays on half the ones the rep was showing me.
Purchased a bottle of Aventus from the newest batch 20A01N. Birch heavy imo, performance isn't too bad. I've been diving more & more into the different creed fragrances. Went to an authorized retailer just to test them out and found a few I really enjoyed. Silver Mountain Water & Millesime Imperial most notably. Tried Aventus Cologne, but wasn't too impressed. Royal Water was nice, the top note was really in your face citrus, but quickly calms into a fresh/clean vibe. Going to try Viking and Himilaya tomorrow, excited!
Everybody can say what they want about Creed but imo you can go get on all these other brands but always gonna comeback to those good ol Creeds it just nothing like them!!!
The reason for that is that this clown is cheap and buys discount Creed thinking they are original. Bois du Portugal is never that dark yellow colour. And yes, if he smelled originals from 100 ml bottles, the Bois du Portugal and Royal Oud would be for sure in top 3.
VIW takes me away ...beach...island... vacation. Green Irish Tweed .. also takes you away to a freshly cut grass land. Erolfa ...not talked about as often. But solid!! Milliseme Imperial..classic Creed. Sean John makes a realistic clone. Himalaya ....is a scent I believe is for the wearer. Silver Mountain Water. Has that metallic sent that separates itself from other metalics like "Azzaro chrome"
I had a sample of Aventus, but if I get a full bottle of a Creed fragrance, it will be something more unique that is unlikely to have an acceptable alternative. I'm quite happy with Banana Republic Black Walnut Legend (I have to spray a lot more of it, but it still comes out to a lot less money). I just bought samples of Royal Mayfair and Erolfa, as well as Xerjoff Nio, Casamorati Mefisto, and Amouage Beach Hut Man.
We all were there . I started my game from GIT ( still love it) . Also bought Royal water ( regret it . Smells like old deo for bathroom ) Aventus and Royal Mayfair . After some time realize that the brand is not versitale ( no sweet , sexy , winter , gourmand and etc ) fits mostly daily office wear and doesnt perform well . So out of three main factors for buying niche fragrances ( compliment factor , longevity , and overall smell ) creed slack in all except smell . Now I m more about initio and PDM coz they are much better bucks for money . Fragrances that are two spray and last all day . Creed should really change something to be in top league again . To stop batch variation , start to realise more bangers , and decrease the price for 150-200$
What do you mean it doesn't perform well? I just got decants of Aventus, Viking, Green Irish Tweed and Royal Oud. Sprayed them on at roughly 8pm. Could still pick up Aventus, GIT and Viking at 6am. I'm new to fragrances, so I don't understand. That's 10 hours. Is this considered weak? My problem with Creed is it seems to be an aquired taste. And I'm not all to sure in what situation exactly I would want to wear them. My favourite are Aventus and Viking. The wife dislikes all 4 though. So I' m starting to get the impression Aventus, GIT and Viking are male fragrance mostly men enjoy. Women, not so much.
@@uramalakia In comparison with the power houses Creed is known for weak projection and longevity. Compliment factor is also average except Aventus . Ladies find them dated and old man smells often . Try Parfums de Marly and u ll see what I mean about the longevity and sillage
Prices in Europe are closer to their actual worth (200-300 euros). The main market they milk is USA. Also regarding the longevity, people either dont spray a lot or go noseblind, especially with Aventus. Ambergris and ambroxan are the main cause for this.
When it comes to range I am with you 100% Creed fragrances tend to be of the fresher and light woods variety. The word effervescent comes to mind. But that is really it. Aventus is versatile but for me, it doesn't incapsulate the idea of date night.
Great video! All my bottles have been bought at discounters although I have purchased the Creed atomizers during their events. I have Viking, GIT, VIW, Himalaya, BdP, Aventus Cologne. I probably will add SMW, Taberome Millesime, Royal Oud and Royal Mayfair at some point in time.
Great 📹 and I enjoyed it and the only fragrance I tried from this 🏠 is Creed millisime imperial and I'm going to try the rest of the house and have a blessed 🌙
It’s a sin that Vetiver Geranium isn’t on this list. When you first first smell it, it resembles Hermes d’Terre but once it’s on the skin, it’s so complex and sublime.
Royal Oud has become a dumb reach for me these days. I had 2 batches of aventus - 17 and 18. I got my fill. I still have my SMW 120ml. I love that one. So unique
Thanks for the nice review. For me SMW is the best from creed the it would be Aventus then Original vetiver then Original Santal then Green Irish Tweed.
Creed should make a new men’s fragrance with frankincense, Holy Water, and myrrh and put a gold label on the bottle, and call it “Apostle Creed”. Lol 😂
When you say 2008 batch, that means that it’s 13 years old - is it working still? On Creed website they say that they last 36 months after first opening. Or I am reading it wrong. Bottom line - does fragrance last that long?
1. Creed Erolfa 2. Creed Original Vetiver 3. Creed Bois Du Portugal 4. Creed Acier Alumunium 5. Creed Green Irish Tweed 6. Creed Virgin Island Water 7. Creed Viking 8. Creed Silver Mountain Water 9. @@DevanteMcDaniel I was lucky enough to find that and I wasn’t really looking for any creeds cause most of them smell to me weird. And I wanted a summer fragrance that sits close to skin but works really great on heat so this was a great option for me. I’ll use it for summer vacation. I blind bought silver mountain water and regret it, Millisime imperial does it much better without the offputting inky/tea flavour. Also IMHO Himalaya is by far the best (behind Aventus of course) Also is it just me but the Silver Mountain Water (White) and Himalaya (Silver) colours are inverted - what was creed thinking.
