- Hey Mary Cherry - Don't worry about Bernard, he was not killed he was just hit with the dehydrator gun, and then put in Megaminds pocket, if you wait for the End Credits, you see Megaminds laundry being done, and Bernard pops up out of the washing machine, so, he isn't dead.
Megamind turned Bernard into one of those blue dehydration cubes (like he did with himself to survive the fall) and stuck the cube in his pocket. There's a mid-credit scene where minion rehydrates him while doing the laundry.
In the beginning, Roxy is wearing a red dress as the opposite of blue, when she hates Megamind, a purple one when she's conflicted about him, and at the end a full on blue one when she's full on into him.
Technically, _Orange_ is the opposite of Blue on the color wheel (because it's a combination of red and yellow, the other two primary colors). I believe red and blue are chosen as opposing representations because they're capable of being distinguished by people who are partially color blind, not because they're actual opposites. Which is also presumably why most multiplayer games have red and blue teams.

I had no idea I wanted her to react to this (The way she Reacted to “Metromans Skeleton” was Hilarious and also the way he acts both Professionally and like immaturely)😂
IM SO HAPPY YOU ARE REACTING TO MEGAMIND Mary THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE MOVIES OF 2010 YOUR GOING TO LOVE IT. I Watched it some many times as a teenager and today.. The first time I watched this film was when I was 14.
A major recurring theme throughout the movie is about being who you want to be rather than what people seem to expect. Megamind was typecast into being the villain from the moment he was a baby, but only truly found happiness when he became a hero. (I think Metroman knew this the whole time they were "enemies") Metroman meanwhile had great powers and as such was expected to protect everyone else. This was obviously very easy for him, but also very unfulfilling(imagine how boring life would be if nothing you ever did was difficult). So when he got bored of being a hero he went on to become a musician, notably a career where all of his powers mean nothing and he seemed to genuinely enjoy it. Then you have Hal. Hal was given great powers by Megamind and was thus expected to make the same choice. However as is the theme, he made a different decision and ended up as a villain. Then last but not least Roxanne also plays with the theme as well several times throughout the movie. She was expected by the public to be romantically involved with Metroman but he wasn't her type, she would have been perfectly within her rights to hate Megamind and shun him forever after everything he's done to her, but she decided to help him and even ended up falling for him. She had no powers and no gadgets, but still chose to stand up to Hal when nobody else was willing to(because she's a real hero at heart).
In their video on Megamind, one of the guys on the Cinema Therapy YT channel said, "I do not want to live in a world where we have three Despicable Me movies and two spinoffs and only one Megamind." That pretty much sums up my feelings as well. Nothing against Despicable Me, but I think Megamind is better, and I think it's a shame we've never gotten a sequel.
The real Megamind are the writers of this, I mean the line "That was weird for everybody ´cause you accidently hugged him instead of me" is just pure gold and Megamind having this speech impediment is so good as well cause it´s in consisted fun factor
3:29 dodgeball is the absolute best sport kids could ever play, and you will never change my mind. -sincerely, someone who played baseball since he was 6.
This movie so underrated! Megamind was never really the villain, he was more of an anti-hero and grew up believing he was supposed to be, but never really hurt or killed anyone and was just playing dressup. If you watch the after credit scene, you'll see that Bernard didn't die.
I wonder if one of the reasons he got so many life sentences as a villain is because the people of that city didn't understand dehydrated cubes come back. Because 85 life sentences seems like a lot for what is basically property damage, theft and kidnapping. But if they thought that all those people he dehydrated were actually dead that would make sense.
Your reactions to this movie are precious and cute, Mary. I got such a kick out of them. That you'd thought Metroman "dead" had me in stitches! As well as your thinking that Megamind had killed Bernard. When in actually he'd never killed anyone. I think I want to watch Megamind again right now. I love this movie because it's a non-stop laughter one. But it was watching and enjoying your reaction so much that makes me want to sit back and watch it again.
Megamind (2010) the film is a good quality animated film. However, it got overshadowed by being the second animated movie with a villain protagonist that came out in 2010, just a few months after Despicable Me (2010).
This is one of my favorite animated movies. Another one I like from the same era is Monsters vs. Aliens. I was a fan of 30 Rock, and hearing LIz Lemon (Tina Fey) voicing Roxane, together with the rest of the cast, Will Ferrell, Brad Pitt, was a real treat. Also, I've read that they are preparing a Megamind TV show on Peacock.
I watched this as a child. However, I only started placing it as my absolute favorite animated movie recently because I was able to pick up on details I overlooked as a child.
Another animated superhero movie I very highly recommend is The Incredibles from 2005. It is one the best Pixar films ever released, surprisingly mature, and won Academy Awards and the Hugo Award. Some even consider it among the best superhero movies ever made.
It's a great film, feel good, funny, great voices and just hits all the right spots. I am glad you came across it and enjoyed it. Have you ever watched the 2007 'Meet the Robinsons'? If not I recommend giving it a go, another animated film that didn't really get huge attention but is really good.
Metromans new passion is music BECAUSE he's so bad at it. It's the one thing his powers can't help him with, therefore he's getting better on his own talents.
Missed the extra credit scene: Minion was doing the wash, and Bernard was rehydrated as he was stored in the back pocket. Minion then uses the forget stick.
9:50 - AC/DC. Although recognised as an Australian band, all but one of their main lineup, Phil Rudd, was born in Australia. The Young brothers, Angus & Malcom, and Bon Scott were born in Scotland. Cliff Williams and Brian Johnson (who became lead singer after Scott's death) were born in England. Just had to let it be known.
This is one of my favorites!😉 Will Ferrell was just so funny in this voicing Megamind🤣 I just wish they had made a sequel to this😒 By the way, Bernard did NOT die if you see the last little scene after the beginning end credits.
Just to let you know Metroman is Voiced by Brad Pitt And Metroman is like the dreamworks Version of Superman And Titan is The Dreamworks Version of Homelander
I wasn't good at dodge ball as a kid, but I loved it. I played it again in the military for morale, sporting events. I was a little better as an adult. A little. -- As far as I can see, the only problem people have with dodge ball is when its not voluntary. Otherwise, its a perfectly normal sport/game.
As far as who Megamind was originally going to infuse the powers with, honestly I'd agree and say so on it being Roxanne. I DID see someone point out in another reaction comment that it might indeed have been his original plan to infuse her with the power if they didn't have the scuffle that accidentally gave Hal the powers. Also Metro Man going for music makes sense for his goal of wanting to do something to call his own that he wasn't naturally gifted with already due to his powers. It takes time, effort, and build up your skill to be good at music. Plus, of COURSE Megamind would be able to (mostly) fool everyone into thinking Metro Man came back. He's known how he acts for YEARS, literally all of their life, and knows all his little quirks. Also, this movie DID get a sequel, but it was that kind of like, straight-to-dvd movies.
I really loved your reactions to this movie. When Roxanne showed up with her wild hair Megamind complimented her. When Metroman tried to sing Mega mind said "Granted you have talent". Megamind could see the good in people but people never took notice. I love this movie.
OMG! You can't believe how happy I was to see you watched this! I LOVE this movie! It's massively underrated and one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long, long time! Can't wait to watch it with you. :D EDIT: The Forget Me stick is my favorite gag. lol
The little things in this movie are great. Like when Megamind is pretending to be the 'Space Dad', he's looking/sounding like Marlon Brando, who played Superman's father in the 1978 movie with Christopher Reeve.

This movie perfectly sums up “There’s no hero without a villain” and vice versa.
Hope you saw the end credits scene. See what happens w/ Bernard.
They really should make a Megamind 2
This is one of the best movies. So funny! You can tell the voice actors are having SO MUCH FUN
I'd love to see Mega Mind meet Tony Stark.😂
This is one of my favorites!😉 Will Ferrell was just so funny in this voicing Megamind🤣 I just wish they had made a sequel to this😒
By the way, Bernard did NOT die if you see the last little scene after the beginning end credits.
Have you ever heard of Despicable Me - its the one with the yellow minions. I think you'd enjoy that one too
How crazy is that, that there are people who didn't get to watch Megamind thanks to someone's recommendation but Netflix's one
Code: this movie is better than Despicable Me.
Code: you're not wrong
Code: I'm glad you agree!
Just to let you know Metroman is Voiced by Brad Pitt
And Metroman is like the dreamworks Version of Superman
And Titan is The Dreamworks Version of Homelander
“There is no queen of england!”
*”lols* “not anymore!”
The most underrated Dreamworks film that should have gotten a sequel instead of Despicable Me.
Post credit scene: Bernard is alive.
Great movie. Wish there more MegaMind stories.
Great reaction, you’re awesome 😎
Keep it up 👍
He dehydrated Bernard
OMG! You can't believe how happy I was to see you watched this! I LOVE this movie! It's massively underrated and one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long, long time!
Can't wait to watch it with you. :D
EDIT: The Forget Me stick is my favorite gag. lol
This is such a fun film that never gets old. Whenever I'm feeling down I watch this and instantly feel better.
David Cross is always fantastic. He played Noah in Archer for a few episodes and stole the show.
Being an anti-hero is way better than being a superhero
Absolutely just ask Black Adam⚡️!!!!!!
Hell yeah!!! better equipment!!!
Deadpool
Exactly like the suicide squad, loki, even fricken boba fett
eh
Olo Mary!! I LOVED YOUR reaction. Made my happy day. I loved this movie. Loved your laughter in this. Fabulous reaction as always.
The little things in this movie are great. Like when Megamind is pretending to be the 'Space Dad', he's looking/sounding like Marlon Brando, who played Superman's father in the 1978 movie with Christopher Reeve.
Another Fantastic Will Ferrell movie Stranger Than Fiction
Thank goodness for Netflix recommendations. Awesome video as always
I love this movie, Minion is a better minion than the minions.
Megamind was so good. Hal Stewart is an obvious Green Lantern combo. Hal Jordan and John Stewart.
