The pride appears to have inexperienced mothers. Kupona's chances looked bleak from the last update as he was clearly not groomed by lionesses. Mbiri Mothers are having a tough learning experience. We need to remember the high mortality rate for lion cubs.
My heart dropped when I read this headline today… Don’t under estimate baby Kupona … I’m praying for him and his spirit… I agree the last video he looked unkempt and Sickly…praying for him❤️🩹
Poor Kupona 😭💔😭💔😭💔 I couldn't watch but friends have told me that the cubs have also been introduced too soon to the pride. What's going on with this pride 💔💔💔
I agreed that Mbiri lionesses are not good mother. These cubs are too small to be with the pride, especially during feeding time. The cubs probably got hurt during the feeding frenzy. Look at the Nkuhuma; those cubs are bigger than these but still haven’t join up with the pride yet.
The 3 Nkuhuma moms had their litters within days or weeks of each other and are raising the cubs together. They've managed to keep all 7 alive and I believe they are about 8 months old now. On the other hand, these moms are having their cubs months apart and it's not going so well🤦♀️ . The older cubs actually look good (hopefully the one with the limp recovers soon). However, the last two litters haven't gone well at all. We all know the cubs from Kupona's litter died (hopefully, Kupona can survive) and the small cubs shown here don't look good either.
I still hope to see Kupona💞again with the pride even if the chances are slim...but I notice that all the little ones have marks, scars or limps, I don't know what's going on, the competition must be very hard for them...I hope the cub💞of Junior will recover from this baddly limp soon as well as the little one💞of Tintswalo males.
The small twins look perfectly adorable. I agree that its early for them to be introduced to the pride. Unfortunately Hyenas & Rival Prides are dangerous at kill sites & unattended in the den. My services are available as a Lion's Den Cub Care where intruders will be locked out & only the Mama's will be admitted to nurse & carry scraps of meat, water & cozy bush is provided. Hopefully this early introduction will only make the Cubs tough for hunts & battle. Kapona's absence is concerning, but we hope for the best.
Usually, when they are neglected by the mom, someone makes a call to the rangers to try to remove the cubs that are being neglected and placed in safer care.
Exactly what I have been saying in all along these videos. This is unheard of in E. Africa and even other parts of S. africa but i guess this particular place they do not " interfere with nature ".Lions are endangered and everything is usually done to preserve them
I never felt as hopeful as many of the other viewers about little Kupona. I still believe the cub was malnourished because the mother didn't produce a sufficient amount of milk. I think the dark unhealthy looking coat that we saw in the last Tintswalo video was a sure sign of malnutrition.
Honestly, the poor surviving cub was sick from the beginning, maybe that's why the mother neglected him . All of these Lions look pretty rough, is there any disease surveillance even through scat analysis ?
The lionesses look great! The older cubs look well taken care of by their mother. The last two litters (including Kupona's litter and the smaller cubs shown here) look terrible.
I think Kupona looks much better than she did the last time! Her eyes are clear and she looks more groomed. She will hopefully heal from the puncture if they don't make her walk a long distance before it heals a little more! She a tough little cubbie!
Hmmm - the two small cubs don't look great either 😢. Not sure what's going on with this pride and their cubs. I think cubs have a better chance if the different litters are born closely together. There are 3 different moms here and the cubs are all several months apart 🤷♀️. The older cubs look a lot better than the younger litters. Hopefully the one with the hurt leg recovers quickly. They usually do... Prayerfully, Kupona shows up. Sometimes cubs get lost. I'll be praying for his safe return.
Saw this coming with the last video. It was dark because it was never groomed, its not part of the pride because of maternal neglect. I was hoping things might change with a second lactating lioness, but those cubs will outgrow him any day now. Sad, not all lionesses are good mothers.
I feel that if the rangers are nearly certain she will die without human intervention, in this case it would be a net positive. They can save her life, possible discovery of whether or not she had a good mother, and if no, then why was the cub so neglected when it came to grooming, suckling, and eating.
Gutted to hear this i had high hopes for kupona. Life can be so cruel; sometimes you can be so close yet so far. Unfortunately i believe that the chances are, he will not survive longer than 2 days on his own when there are so many predators nearby. His only chance is to hide in a hole and hope his pride returns for him.
Oh nooo, so hard to read the caption... wish he could be adopted. It’s unimaginable how much he has endured. These lionesses r inexperienced moms... Cubs r not being well cared & protected..Come on, act on the real conservation. Give something to safeguard the cubs.
Many mixed feelings watching this sighting. On the one hand, I’m happen to see the Orpen cubs look well fed now….but also sad that Kupona is likely no longer with us and the two new cubbies have to struggle at these kills. Hope the injured lions gets well
*WOW-those x2 Mbiri cubs are SO well-behaved, especially for being so young-they greeted the lioness correctly, approached the carcass using submissive posture, and knew when to lay down and not bug mom.* *Plus they’re already getting a taste for meat.🥩* *Cubs who are introduced to the pride quite young, mature much faster. They have too, in order to survive.* *I can’t blame the mother. It’s either leave them alone knowing they are unprotected or bring them along and try your best to protect them.* *Yes cubs can get hurt with adolescent or adult pride mates being too rough-but I see the other side-safety in numbers, within the pride.*
There is Orpen cubs, Mbiri ZigZag's cubs, Kupona that I think that belongs to the brothers and the last 2 small cubs that belongs to 3rd Tintswalo male that is not from this pride, so these last cubs are healthy, it is good....so other 2 males that are brothers can not have healthy cubs here in natal pride....is very clear
Beginning of video was so sad. Looked like one little cub just eaten and minding it's own business and The one cub intrudes on moms feeding space and pisses her off cause he mouths back at her. She turns on cub minding it's own business and other cub takes whack at her too. I think these videos screwing me up. Not long ago it would bother me seeing animal getting eaten or hunted, now majority of time I'm hoping for lion's to get it and like watching how their eaten it. But also a good thing watching these. Though I always try to respect women even when they may be tee'ing off at me, I can't help but view the similarities of human women and lion women. Especially when it comes to kids and cubs. Just adds to the respect I have for women more. Bad asses and tough but set that aside for well being of kids and man. Also, is that guy really that close to those lions or is it just how the camera making it look?
I am keeping my finger crossed that Kupona can survive. Does anyone know how ZigZag is going? He got a bad injury on his jaw and did not look good earlier.
My favorite creature of all times. Always.🦁🐾🐾
This is a great channel watching from South Florida USA

She will survive ... It's in her Lion heart to keep pushing and striving on ... She's a born survivor 💛👍
I feel so sorry for the injured cub. Hope he gets well soon. 🎉🎉 Ms. Wong
I feel as a parent wanting their baby to live and thrive. I will keep watch for news on Kupona.🦁☀️😣💪❤️

I noticed hope little one and that one will recover praying 🙏 fabulous thanks 😊
I hope Kupona survives ❤️ poor baby ❤️

Kupona is tough and will fight to the end to over come anything. ❤

The lion cub looks so adorable & beautiful. 😊💜🌸🦁

Great video! I agree that the really young cubs aren't ready to eat with the larger cubs. Hope the missing cub is ok 😉🇺🇸
Oh no hopefully all is well with him. So sad for little cubbies. Life is hard from the start. ❣
I can’t believe how close you are able to get to these beautiful animals
Amazing footage. Beautiful two cubs. Interesting see how quickly the kill is finished.

@@maureenmasara2483 it bs but then humans kill lions the reason there endangered least human could help fix it
Doesn't seem to be neglect maybe just need more experience might be lionesses first liter
Nature takes care of its own
Bellos los amo
Vicious while eating ... makes me anxious watching this. The cub with the punctured leg looks stressed and very young
Yep. Those cubs are too young to be introduced to the pride.
Nature in all its beauty can be brutal, hoping Kupona survives.
Fingers crossed for little Kupona 🤞❤
Good content and hopefully the smaller cub recovery goes well.
That was an amazing video, love the information you give. Really hope the babies survive.
Thank you for the update!

I always love watching your amazing lion videos, lions are one of my favourite wildlife creatures. 😊💜🌸🦁

@@auntiez4917 Last 2 litters are result of inbreeding, their fathers are most likely Zigzag Mbiri then current Mbiri males ( all from the same pride )
mmm, genetic snarl may be a factor but I'm leaning toward contaminated prey or water source
I think Kupona looks much better than she did the last time! Her eyes are clear and she looks more groomed. She will hopefully heal from the puncture if they don't make her walk a long distance before it heals a little more! She a tough little cubbie!
What a beautiful man 👀❤
Hello from Los Angeles.
Thank you for sharing this video.
Yes, he's gorgeous 😍
Watch beautiful animals 😍 x
The BIG miracle here is you being INVISIBLE to them aboard an open jeep at a close proximity 🤣🤣🤣.....
Good job though buddy!👍👍
This is yet again another sad sad lion event. Unreal
hi are you the one also who made a video for misfit cub?

Wonderful and beautiful lions and sweet cubs wishing them all well thank you so much Peace to all in this world
Hi bro thanks for taking the ultimate risk in covering the apex predators in their natural habitat and bring it to our homes. God Blessing.

Yes, he's very thin already. So hopefully, the pride finds him quickly 🤞.
Somebody need to rescued him like brent on safari rescued a small cub to help him live don't wait until he died do something
Intersting interacton. Thanks for sharing.
Heartbreaking 😪so sad. And sad also that nobody helps this poor baby calling a vet...he will not last long 🥺❤

Mi humilde opinión es que las leonas no están cuidando bién a esos pobres cachorros.🙄
3:04 Poor cubs. They seem to have been literally drilled by their parents.
That cub can shred a pitbull to pieces. If it had no choice .
I could not do this kind if work with out helping the sick cups i would loose my job
oh no my heart is breaking i really hope he is ok
So what do you think happened to Kupona?
Likely couldn't keep up with the movement and abandoned. Single cubs are a lot of work for a pride.
Many mixed feelings watching this sighting. On the one hand, I’m happen to see the Orpen cubs look well fed now….but also sad that Kupona is likely no longer with us and the two new cubbies have to struggle at these kills. Hope the injured lions gets well
The new cubbies don't look so good either, though. They look very thin. One of them already has a leg wound.
I can not watch this sad situation..I know it is nature...but I can not take anymore cubs being pushed out and being the next meal.
I feel the exact same way. Too pain5for me to watch
Hum muito lindo 😍😍

Survival of the fittest!
The lions in the opening scene, is one of them Mohawk or Mr.T?
Where is this snd the PRIDES NAME
That little belly is FULL!

Can't some body get him and helo babie cub
Kupona aint coming back
No we didn't see that part
Be careful and go look for babie cub
사이좋게 나눠 먹어~~~

At least Kupona won't have to worry about her gender and what her pronouns will be.
Lions are too aggressive and territorial over food, just learn to share.
