Really love your chats, boys, and I’m gonna keep listening regardless, but would it hurt to be a liiiiiittle more informed about the topics you bring to the show? I’m not talking about your impromptu tangents/rants/arguments (which can go off the rails and are absolutely hilarious), but when you ostensibly title a podcast/video “The Revuelto” I’m disappointed and annoyed when I have to sit through 10 minutes of Tony clearly not knowing what he’s talking about.
@C J B that really bugged me, him and Tony slagged off the Artura based on the fact that Sam was being an idiot and didn’t listen to the Mclaren people. It’s like they create issues to talk about then they get corrected, correct themselves on the podcast then just move on like they didn’t just act like 2 uninformed pricks.
Sam I enjoyed the Podcast as always. However, I am amazed at the way you brushed off the new Gordon Murray Automotive cars. For a guy that raves on about his Ferrari 360 because of the visceral feedback from the normally aspirated engine, manual gearbox and light weight, I don’t understand how you don’t see why so many wealthy driving enthusiasts would be so willing to pay the high price for these fantastic GMA cars. You said you would rather just get a Chiron, but people who buy a GMA car likely already have a Chiron and many other modern super or hyper cars. To me its a similar situation to people paying astronomical prices for the Singer 911’s. They want the unique and involving driving experience that a modern, big, heavy, powerful supercar can’t deliver.
“Big Cosworth V12 anyway let’s move on”. Skipping over probably the greatest engine ever made, 3.9 litre n /a Cosworth V12, 609hp, 11,100rpm red line, and sounds like an old F1 car.
@@-LK34- I think the design will age really, really well compared to almost every other car being made now that is incredibly overstyled, has fake vents, aero bits that dont' really do anything but look flashy etc. That's Gordon's design philosophy. If an aero bit is present on the car, it has to be there for a reason. Otherwise he's eliminated the visible aero bits to clean up the design and make something similar in elegance to the F1
@@-LK34- to each their own. I'd love to see one in person. I get the impression that the road T cars aren't nearly as impressive on a screen as they are right in front of you
Tony letting his Lambo dislike cloud anything with the Revuelto. I personally think it looks sensational and look forward to proper drivers getting hold of it.
It’s wild how overwhelmingly negative the comments here are. This podcast is falling apart, when your audience are addressing/attacking your constant negative attitude about cars you know NOTHING about….. you’ve got a huge problem.
Sam you need to go have a proper look at the T33 spider. Firstly they are shipping T50s already. The T33 is moving forward and the spider would be a year away. This has the potential to be a future MCLaren F1. Go back and look at how simple yet incredibly beautiful and ageless that is … same approach - very limited, timeless design, 11000 rpm engine, downforce without fuss … beautiful to me
Absolutely. You could be cynical about how you now have to pay over a million for a car WITHOUT batteries, overbearing electronics and touchscreens, but it still looks like a fantastic prospect
T50s are not shipping. They just started assembly on ONE car with expected delivery later this year. I do not see the hype about these cars. Yes they are fully engineered in house with a great engine BUT i think design wise, at least the T33, is not going to age that well. And just saying that they are the purest driver focused car doesnt justify the price. But each to their own. At least GMA have managed to sell them.
I do find it entertaining on most occasions but in the case of the Revuelto Tony’s reasoning was slightly too ignorant and just made him seem less intelligent than he most probably is. It appears like he just makes up his mind too early and has a really hard time shifting perspective. But it surely makes for some great controversy and drives Sam absolutely mad😂😂 coming back to Reveulto, I’d rather have the predecessors!
Really polite and considered way of saying he’s an ignorant bell end 😂 I can’t watch him most episodes but I’m a big fan of Sam. Important thing to remember is that Tony isn’t a car fan he’s a car salesman who buys a Ferrari and pretends he’s a fast track driver 😂 But each to their own, he’s an ego with jeans on but live and let live ✌️
@@tomnutting3836 I really liked listening to Tony back in the day but over the years he's become ignorant and cocky. Like I said he just reminds me off my father in law who's a "car guy" but comes out with stupid remarks about cars as he gets older and more cynical. EVs are usually the main trigger for this generation and might I add I don't think Tony is even old enough to fit into this category. 😂 Sam isn't much better the last year if I'm being honest. The last few episodes about McLaren and synthetic fuels were a tough listen. The two of them have good energy but I do find myself shouting at the car radio every time they pull a made up fact out of the air.
Have to disagree with Tony on the Revuelto (??). How is it a facelift aventador? It's completely different in all aspects, powertrain, exterior, interior, carbon tub. If the revuelto is a facelift aventador, the sf90 is a facelift F8 Tributo, the LAF a facelift Enzo and so on 😂
Hard disagree on the GMA cars, that T.50 is in production and being delivered this year, they sold 100 of these T.33 spiders within 24 hours, they had to cancel the auto box because everyone wanted manual which means the audience gets it. I know you probably have made up an idea in your head of what the Gordon Murray cars are but please please try to clear that thought and actually look into them properly because what they have made is amazing it's literally the perfect drivers car with no restriction on budget, if you have big funds and love cars and actually driving them this is the car for you. Gordon said that he'd found many of the people buying the car are current CGT owners which says all you need to know about what kind of car this is. I don't know if you read the comments but don't take this as criticism, I just don't think you have realized how badly this GMA take will probably age especially as someone who likes driver focused engaging manual cars this is the epitome of that.
The cars are fantastic, however i think what put Sam off GMA is that the world just doesn't need another hypercar company. Too many cars are stupid money these days. But I guarantee if / when Sam drives a t33 or t50 he will love it.
It just doesn’t make sense to me because I was looking at the car on shmees video thinking, it’s great… for 200-500 grand. 2 million..? It is no 2 million dollar car
@@badway420 it’s not exactly a hypercar company though. Gordon Murray certainly doesn’t want his cars described as such, whilst the prices are Hyper-car level, his cars are clearly designed for the driver who wants to hit A/B roads every weekend, not once a year to drive through Mayfair/Monte Carlo
@@Dyltheboy that’s because you don’t know that much about the car nor how significant the engineering involved in making this car is. How many V12 road cars weigh under a ton - (there is no other). It’s the lightest v12 engine with the highest power to litre ratio, beating the Aston Martin Valkyries even. It has a higher power to weight ratio than a mclaren P1 or a Bugatti Veyron super sport and it does it naturally aspirated. Redline is higher than the Valkyrie and the downforce of the T50s is similar to the Valkyrie track version. The cost of development of this car was considerable and it’s created attributes not seen on any car before. The aerodynamics are fantastic without the use of big wings (T.50S excluded) or garish vents. The materials used are of the highest quality - massive amounts of carbon fibre, titanium and forged aluminium, keeping it lightweight, immensely strong but still compliant. This is also a practical car and a daily usable car which is not common for cars with similar performance. All that I’ve just mentioned is great and everything but the real reason it’s worth that much is because of how it drives. You will probably have more fun driving these cars than any other car in any price range.
I’m a huge fan of Sam and Tony. By far my favorite podcast. I know in the past they said they read most of the comments. I wonder if they’ll see the valuable critiques in this thread. Seems like fans have more to say then usual.
no hate but i think you've done us a disservice by not at least fully reading an article or watching one video to provide a more informed discussion the revuelto is smaller than the aventador in every dimension and has an entirely different carbon tub with different suspension mounting system.
Does Sam realise T.50s are literally in their production line as we speak. They said at the start they would unveil a new model every year, not 6 months. Don’t think it’s fair to accuse Gordon of just ‘needing more money’ when you don’t have the facts straight. The cars are literally ALL Sam goes on about in terms of non-show off, driving focus, manual gearbox etc. What are manufacturers supposed to do then to make you happy? Koenigsegg/Pagani is too over the top, GMA is too simple and understated. The T.33 is not my cup of tea in looks, doesn’t mean it is now ‘trash’ and isn’t worth its price tag. The arguments are just a huge load of paradoxes. Opinions are opinions though I guess. Love the pod either way haha
One is a UA-camr “content creator” and the other a used car salesman, sometimes they can be inconsistent/ignorant when reviewing cars live. If Sam had actually watched his UA-cam “competitors” recently he might have remembered why he likes GM and the 11,000 reasons to love his new cars.
If you're going to talk about something, at least you should get the facts right. Tony talking bollocks is no news, but Sam basically telling that Gordon is a scammer was the nail in the coffin.
I think the trouble Sam finds with GMA is they’re launching cars every year. That’s great and all but they haven’t delivered a car yet. Should you be releasing the car that sits under the T.50 before any customers have got their cars?
I like Sam but he didn’t get invited to film a GMA video so I’d say he’s salty as fuck 😅 He’s only human but I feel like too much Tony chat has an influence on him in a negative trash talking way.
@@GazMoby Stating they need money to complete the first car is not an opinion it’s inaccurate and not based on fact. I wasn’t referring to him disliking the looks
I am not sure whether Sam has a bit of a problem with his senses. Like saying Gordon Murray having a hard time- trying to sell his cars when it literally does. Just because someone doesn't agree with someone else's idea of a pure driving experience, doesn't mean its a bad idea to begin with. The 'big Cosworth' engine comment itself kinda says a load about the absence of facts and a bit of research.
I love how both of you started to compare the Revuelto to other cars dynamically without having even started the car up. You just don't know, wait until you drive it. I won't discuss personal aesthetic preference, but it is absolutely not a facelifted Aventador, at least design wise, you would have to be blind to say that. SF90 is not that special dynamically either, so...
SF90 may not be dynamically special like a GT3 is but the Revuelto with that much weight isn't going to better than the SF90 dynamically and that's what was being mentioned.
@@amarjit_singh_ with the new dual clutch gearbox, better suspension set up it’s obviously a step up from the aventador so I don’t understand the hate already from tony
@@sp3ckedout224 Ofcourse in that department it's a step up but a lighter car will always be nimble and a driver would find it more enjoyable driving it.
The segment about GMA was just Sam spewing lies 😂 If they backtracked on production date fine, but they are delivering in 2023 AS PROMISED. Stop lying 😂😂
Gordon Murray is doing something incredibly refreshing in the car market. Clean, simple designs that I think will age very well long term. If you listen to Gordon talk about his design philosophies he explains it very well; almost every car now visually is too complex and is covered in aero bits that look "cool" but probably don't do much of anything. His design is rooted in simplicity and if an aero bit is on the car, it is there for a reason. Most of the aero happens under the car to keep the surface clean and simple. Plus the fan trickery in the T50. I'd much rather look at and talk about Gordon's T cars compared to the newest Lamborghini, even though the Revuelto is a nice looking car in its own right
It is cool, but for £1.5 million you would kind of expect to see something special...you could probably get 3 Revuelto's for that price. I doubt the T50 is 3 times more of a car...
@@chiller1017 how are Gordon's T cars not special? There's only going to be 100 of each model. There will be who knows how many Revueltos, so many that the vast majority of them are driven mostly in shopping center parking lots.
@@chiller1017 I think nothing could compare to driving a GMA car and especially this one. Just imagine an open top car with a better power to weight ratio than the F1, a V12 that revs up to over 11.000 rpm and all this with a manual gearbox. This car is not about ‘look at me’, but just pure driving pleasure. I love the fact that the design is understated and does not shout small dick energy to everybody.
For a car dealer and enthusiast Tony knows F all about cars. If he'd done even the most basic of research he'd know the Revuelto has a new V12 engine and it's mounted differently in the car, Plus the car has no reverse gear. It is not in anyway a "facelifted aventador" Also SF90 (which he loves) is 1700kg
I wouldn’t even call Tony an enthusiast anymore. He just gets on the podcast and complains about literally every new car that’s launched. It’s getting stale
Having been a watcher for years, I feel like these episodes are becoming more and more negative each time. The constant EV bashing and the ‘we were right all along’ attitude with synthetic fuels. Sam and Tony constantly contradicting themselves with their opinions - which is fine, I get it’s their opinions but just a little jarring when they’re so adamant on it and then change their mind two months later!
Full EV is a meme. When we all have EV! How are we going to charge our cars when the country is closing down powerplants and replacing them with meme wind and solar energy? Electricity price is already through the roof and it doesn't look like it's going to get any cheaper! In fact it'll get way more expensive as power plants close down.
He goes on about depreciation on EV s he doesn’t take into account 2% benefit in kind very low running costs servicing is peanuts. My previous car Macan gts was around £5k a year just to keep on the Rd not including fuel, that can go towards any depreciation! Let’s not forget he lost around £50k on a performante a few years ago…you own a EV?
I feel like Sam does it for views a d comments and maybe Porsche are paying him to promote the synthetic fuel thing but they genuinely don't have a clue and as more of their listener try and buy electric cars, they're narrative will just become more and more boring to people who will eventually move on or skip past the EV bashing.
@@pato10111 do people really think we can carry on regardless with no consequences I am a true petrol head but sold my dream car after realising I was just doing plenty of short trips in it. You only have walk down any busy rd to breath in disgusting fumes all the cars chugging away. EV’s aren’t for everyone but I do believe there is a strong case for many to buy but will listen to unfounded negative information and will stick to ice.
Tony as always has no idea what he is talking about in case od new lambo Everything is new, carbon tub, clutch, engine stayed what everyone wanted to, it is upgraded with new hybrid system so faster and better. He says 488 has different engine the. 458, yet is same engine- upgraded with added turbos, Lambo has same engine upgraded with added hybrid system but its same car. And it looks nothing like aventador Next to each other aventador looks like 30 year older car 👌🏻
I’d really trying to appreciate the looks of the T.33. I think it’s gradually growing on me but I still think it looks awkward from the front and the lights are too big and weirdly angled, but just my opinion. The T.50 I think is beautiful and timeless. The cars themselves seem incredible and as a Lotus Elise owner can only dream of having a drive in one.
I realy think your wrong about GMA, all the cars just seem mega, completly different to anything else out there, tge engine screams and its a true road car.
First of all, how the hell could Tony comment on the car without even having driven it? Secondly, what Lamborghini customers wanted was a more powerful V12, but only this time with a dual clutch box which was the core compliant of the Aventador. That's pretty much it. They still want the modern aggressive Lambo styling and the sound of the raging V12. This is what the Lambo client base wants whether you like it or not. Would it be a deal-breaker if it was a little slower than the SF90? No. Would people rather have a naturally aspirated V12 over the V8 twin turbo in the SF90? Absolutely. And by the way, the Revuelto is sold out for the next 2 years. So, while Tony might not like it, I can guarantee you many people do. Different strokes for different folks, that's all.
Aside from the Records, looks, and awesomeness, Mainly because they are known to be very unreliable, many an old owner has written about it over time, hence why Supervettura always have a healthy amount of them that sit for sale for years.
@@Driver_88 No, but that's not reason enough for them to be so flippantly dismissive of Koenigsegg. Because they bash McLaren for unreliability, but still recognize their greatness. So just because Koenigseggs are unreliable is not reason enough for them to dismiss the brand always... They just need to watch Top Gears driving video on the Jesko, just try to bash them after seeing that masterpiece on the go!
I get that its "two blokes and their opinions" , but they do have to at least consider what they say, or else they run the risk of becoming grumpy old men. It becomes less interesting and fun to listen to them when they talk without being educated, and when they continually talk down cars. I'm just a guy with access to the internet and I can find out more than they seem to know before they start talking about a car. Tony even seems to brag about not watching any videos to help him understand new products before he gives his opinion....his opinion that he holds without driving the vehicle. Its almost like he is pushing his persona, which we all originally loved, to the nth degree, where it becomes almost tiresome.
Tony talking bollocks again. Porsche have built the same car (911) for decades that Tony loves. The Pista that he loves so much is just a face lift Speciale. La Ferrrari is a face-lift Enzo. F8 is a face-lift of a 488 which was a face-lift of 458.
The Revuelto weight argument is a bit silly because it's barely more than an SF90 in terms of weight. It's really not that heavy by modern standards. Anything is heavy compared to a McLaren, Valkyrie etc.
@@mojojojo_BB And? You don't like it, then go legal, do something about it! Judging from your statement that you have seen all of my comments, I can clearly say that's some weird stalking skills you've got there! Stop stalking and get a life!
It's not a face-lift aventador. The whole architecture of the car has changed to accommodate the revised V12 plus battery. I like Tony's input. Jesus, he's so wrong about the revuelto. Lamborghini literally addresses all the issues people had with the aventador and still whinge. Dynamically, it'll probably really impress with torque vectoring on the front axle. So many supercars have the gearbox mounted at the back. That's a complete moot point. 😂 The F8 and 488 is a revised 458.
He went full fanboy mode 🤮 Said a Turbo S is dull, what a brat, also said “if you show it a corner it goes straight”, a damn Turbo S doesn’t corner in his world 😂 He’s too busy massaging the balls of other Pista drivers to keep resale high 😂
The 812 and f12 look the same to me, the artura, 570 and 540c look the same to me But they'll never say that, they need Ferrari and Porsche and McLaren on their good sides to get allocations for cars they'll use and flip
“Hosted by two rather uniformed enthusiasts” Absolutely nothing wrong with having an opinion but be more open minded mate and learn first before spewing. Still love STG and the Podcast but this was a Poo’dcast mate.
You guys are SO wrong on the GMA cars. If you actually did more research and when/if you ever get the chance to test them, you will be blown over! The T.33 will undoubtedly be a far better drivers car then a Pista that Tony loves so much. The engineering excellence for a driver focused car is what we petrol heads wanted. It's just the cost that most of us struggle with 😂
How hypocritical. You both absolutely bashed Aston Martin about the Valkyrie. And now as Tony says it’s got more brand value 🤣🤣🤣🤣. How easily he changes his mind The Lamborghini conversation was hilarious. Surely more info or research before Tony comments. Did he take his pills before the podcast 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I used to watch every episode but the last couple ones are completely out of touch with what's happening in the automotive industry in terms of opinions about cars .
I always enjoy listening to BTG, but you've just spent nearly twenty minutes trashing two of the most eagerly anticipated new supercars in years, and haven't bothered to do any prior research into either of them. The cars in question and your audience both deserve better. By all means have your opinions, but please try to make them educated ones. Or just stick to cars/topics that DO interest you.
As of koenigsegg, the whole “talking a lot without actually ever producing it” was a bit weak IMO. Koenigsegg are really pioneers when it comes to their cars, and have never over-promised and under-delivered. The One:1 really has a p/w ratio of 1:1, were as the Valkyrie would also be a 1:1 car, but it became a lot heavier. The AMG One was supposed to be faster and lighter. They promised too much and couldn’t deliver. Therefore I think bashing Koenigsegg at that point is a bit cruel.
It boggles me that you have little to no interest in the GMA vehicles. Everyone is complaining how supercars are getting heavier, engines are becoming quieter, manuals are going away and here is GMA doing the opposite
A friend of mine has made the fuel tanks for the various GMA cars and you would not believe the level of detail involved in the spec of the builds. It shocked me and I a nerd with this stuff as it is lol
Tony, Lamborghini have a design philosophy, a signature. Of course it’s going to look similar, but it’s possible every nut and bolt is new. 991 to 992 look similar but they changed a huge % of parts. (BTW I bet you wish you could take back the remark about runner beans. Really)
You guys are doing yourselves and your audience a disservice by coming into these so unprepared - you don't need to be journalists but at least don't be aggressively uninformed, it gets to be a bit of a tough listen when Tony's doing his grumbling if Sam doesn't have first hand experience to discuss stuff. Between moaning on about the Artura being impossible to start up (inaccurate as you know) last time to the Revuelto and GMA stuff this time it's not been great. Either stick to stuff at least one of you knows, or do a bit more work prepping imo
Why do Porsche and Ferrari fans just hate Lamborghini so much. Lamborghini doesn't set out to make the fastest car, they don't claim to make the fastest car. Why does a car have to be the fastest thing on the planet to be good according to Tony? Why does a supercar have to be usable? It's a toy, it's meant to be an experience everytime you drive it, it isn't meant to be a perfect City car, so i don't understand the hate for the Aventador either Lamborghini has done whatever everyone wanted on the new revulto so the hate is purely just hate
Sam and Tony have claimed in the past they do read the comments. Man, they better be prepared for this episode...Stop slagging off literally everthing Tony and live a little. And Sam, please be more informed about the Gordon Murray cars. I try and get most of my automotive info from this podcast and everything I'm reading in the comments suggests you guys were way off on BOTH main topics in this episode...
Can't buy a Chiron for anything less than 3 Million Pounds. On the issue of the Gordon Murray T.33 and T.50 the target market is the elite of the elite
That clown really has zero clue about cars and the specific purposes. Put on different guests maybe Shmee etc. People who actually use/own/know supercars
I wish you guys would do more research on the cars before talking about them. Gordan Murray has a whole plan for his cars in which each series of car will have production of 1 year and then they move onto the next. Pagani is also not a kit car company. Everything is bespoke. Engine is made by Mercedes and is tuned by Pagani in house. Just a bit of ignorance here and there.
If you’re not a “connoisseur” of either brand it’s the Revuelto all day. 296 looks enough like the SF90. Pull up in the Lambo, doors go up and it looks the business
Oh guys, please please please do your research on Gordon Murray Automotive - your commentary couldn't be further from the truth. T50 is already in build with all cars sold. The cars are beautiful in every respect from the inside out.
I’ve had to watch this episode again to see if I feel differently than when i first watched….. after Tony’s runner bean comment I’ve had to turn off because that’s 8 year old boy humour. I think you need to address this awful episode lads ….
Watch the GMA vid of the Cosworth engine build.. 140 hours to assemble each engine. Awesome tech, design and quality. You really should watch it top appreciate the concept and at that level of purity who cares about the price. All sold anyway
Huracan is the best all round supercar ever made...and it's nearly a decade old. Says a lot about the state of Lamborghini's competitors which are dull in comparison.
We'll probably have to wait for reviews but I reckon the Revuelto will be a more exciting car to drive than the sf90 in most situations. The sf90 will probably be faster in a straight line and on a track but honestly, a Pista is more exciting to drive on the road than the sf90 and it has way less power.
This has to be the least informed podcast from you both I have seen, the take on GMA cars is particularly poor, its a car that should be right up your street, bit disappointing overall.
I have to go back to last weeks episode where you discussed the Macan and said how expensive they are. Have to disagree. I’ve just ordered a new S and specced up it’s mid £60k. What I will say though is that this worked out cheaper on PCP than a cheaper 3-series and equivalent 5-series touring primarily due to residuals. You don’t seem to mention that when discussing cost but most buy via finance and this is very important.
New chassis, new gearbox, addition of the hybrid tech, heavily reworked and lighten engine, new tech on the interior, completely new body and so on - Tony-'it's not a new car'...
I thought last week was bad with the Artura operator error. But this weeks complete misunderstanding and obvious zero research into GMA was painful. Come on guys do your research. 2 inaccurate and poorly researched pod casts in 2 weeks. I think that's the end of the road for me, after listening to you guys from the start this is my last pod cast. Total inaccurate waffle.
What seems to have not be mentioned is that a lot of the EV's have been company cars because of the huge tax breaks, and those are now coming to the end of their contracts, so maybe there are more available than the market demands?
As someone who just got a Genesis G70, I'm glad to see them getting love. The design and finish of the car is just as good as the Germans for less money.
I agree with Tony on the new Lambo, very underwelling, Hycade was making renders months before its release and it look pretty much spot on so no surprises, it's just the internals that are very different, so it probably drives amazing. Also shout out to Paul Wallace for making the best unveiling video, factory walk was so much more interesting than walking around a sterile studio.
It's design patent already got leaked before. That's why its renders were accurate. I'm not a fan of big lambos too but that v12 revving to 9500 rpm will be nuts.
Dynamically Tony is also forgetting, or just didn't research the fact that this has electric motors on the front wheels which gives far better dynamic development for torque vectoring the front end. With this in addition to the recently developed rear steering will probably make this punt quite well down a twisty road..... albeit perhaps not quite as well as a 1300 - 1400 kg car.
I'd love to see evidence of these EV price drops because as someone who is looking for a new EV company car, they're really expensive and there's very little stock.
Other than Tesla not much drop in new prices. Also higher interest rates haven't really affected PCH/PCP prices that much unfortunately. Some used EVs have gone down
I just bought an ID4 £33k 1k miles 6 months old for my wife. I really can’t fault the car it’s very well made drives like a 60k car and is very cheap to run and own and looks great no discount from dealer as hard to find in great spec. Not sure Tony lives in the real world forgets that most people stepping out of a normal ice car will be properly impressed by low running costs and drivetrain smoothness. Her last car was a 2.0 leaf after 5 years of ownership it never put a foot wrong cost £600 to service in total. Ice car would be in its thousands…..I run a MYP it’s an incredible piece of kit!
There's no price drops. Tesla reduced the price of the Model Y to react to brands coming from China selling great EVs at lower prices. Also, I think Polestar are making a lot of strides and they wanted to undercut them.
@@BarryMakariou agreed. Tony and Sam are clueless to the mindset of car buyers at the moment. Tony's uninformed whinging about anything even remotely interesting is becoming increasingly difficult to tolerate. The discussion surrounding the Lambo and T33 was laughably ill-informed. Please do better.
They should spread the podcasts out more. Sam is clearly overstretched and Tony tends not to think very much when he has the pressure of one podcast per week to deal with. I'm tuning out a lot more and the recast thing is irritating with the F1. I've just moved to P1.

T50 isn't being shipped any where. They just starting making the first customer car.
I do find it entertaining on most occasions but in the case of the Revuelto Tony’s reasoning was slightly too ignorant and just made him seem less intelligent than he most probably is. It appears like he just makes up his mind too early and has a really hard time shifting perspective.
Ya but they are very bland and not worthy of the price when it comes to looks/style. Which is a big factor for many as well my brother.

They are just making things up. I didnt realize until this episode.
Smaller? Get your facts right before commenting. I suggest you do some research
The Revuelto is larger in every dimension, why did you just make that up..
To be fair mate if you're here for facts I think you've got the wrong channel...🤣
Sam says it literally in the intro of this podcast that they are uninformed.
This episode made me lose all respect for Sam. Just making stuff up as they go spewing misinformation
I like Sam but he didn’t get invited to film a GMA video so I’d say he’s salty as fuck 😅
He’s only human but I feel like too much Tony chat has an influence on him in a negative trash talking way.

They've hated Gordon Murray's cars from the begginging because they never got an invitation to the press launch

Tony is just a grumpy old man. Negative about everything
Thats what I love about him. So many people in this space never ever say something negative because their business depends on the brands!
Tony has talked a lot of shite in this episode 😂
Come on Tony, you haven’t been behind the wheel of this new Lambo. You can’t say it drives like crap just yet. 20:41

Tony even seems to brag about not watching any videos to help him understand new products before he gives his opinion....his opinion that he holds without driving the vehicle. Its almost like he is pushing his persona, which we all originally loved, to the nth degree, where it becomes almost tiresome.
Just this, well said.
Tony talking bollocks again. Porsche have built the same car (911) for decades that Tony loves. The Pista that he loves so much is just a face lift Speciale. La Ferrrari is a face-lift Enzo. F8 is a face-lift of a 488 which was a face-lift of 458.
Can't agree with Tony this time. Revuelto has many changes, making it significantly different than Aventador.
You right. But they played it too safe on the design.
The Revuelto weight argument is a bit silly because it's barely more than an SF90 in terms of weight. It's really not that heavy by modern standards. Anything is heavy compared to a McLaren, Valkyrie etc.

It's a toy, it's meant to be an experience everytime you drive it, it isn't meant to be a perfect City car, so i don't understand the hate for the Aventador either

We'll probably have to wait for reviews but I reckon the Revuelto will be a more exciting car to drive than the sf90 in most situations. The sf90 will probably be faster in a straight line and on a track but honestly, a Pista is more exciting to drive on the road than the sf90 and it has way less power.

Got to be honest, the new lambo makes the sf90 look like a cheap shopping trolley. Isn’t it a 488. Sounds like fiat 128. Have a word with yourself.
Great point Sam about chasing stats. Funny that Revuelto's bang on 1000bhp, no? After all the hoohah about SF90 power output...
Lambo just trying to one up on Ferrari.
1001""
This has to be the least informed podcast from you both I have seen, the take on GMA cars is particularly poor, its a car that should be right up your street, bit disappointing overall.
Tony just hates and talks crap about anything other than a porsche or ferrari. Such a fan boy
As much as I love you guys i find the constant EV bashing tiresome. I’ll gladly come on the show and defend the EV…
They genuinely haven't a clue.
The design and finish of the car is just as good as the Germans for less money.
and the engines blow up at 100k just like the germans!
@Mitchell Steindler what information do you have to support this? Or are you just flapping? As an owner I'm genuinely curious.
@@stran-air-jordan flapping . Just do a quick google search my friend
A kit car? 😂
Tony is a cool guy but talks too much shit😅
I agree with Tony on the new Lambo, very underwelling, Hycade was making renders months before its release and it look pretty much spot on so no surprises, it's just the internals that are very different, so it probably drives amazing. Also shout out to Paul Wallace for making the best unveiling video, factory walk was so much more interesting than walking around a sterile studio.
It's design patent already got leaked before. That's why its renders were accurate. I'm not a fan of big lambos too but that v12 revving to 9500 rpm will be nuts.
@@devanshgupta9860 ah I didn't know that, makes sense. Yeh it's going to sound wild
The new Lambo is beautiful , fulfils the legacy
No offence to Sam's Uncle, but wearing Balenciaga pops you very firmly into the 'industrial grade bellend' category. 🤭
WTF Tony 😂😂😂 Someone got out of the wrong side of bed that morning.
Who wants to be shifting gears in a clunky 1.5l Golf when they can cruise around in a lovely, refined ID3 and charge from home at night. Remember that Tony sells high performance chavy ICE cars and his market hasn't adjusted yet to the EV. It's coming for him whether he likes it or not.
43:50 that's also because those 3 year old cars (which are desirable anyway) have stupidly low miles for that usual age range due to Covid 😂
