  • This video shows parts of West Chester and Mason, Ohio which are northern suburbs of Cincinnati as they appeared in August of 2013. The trip starts in West Chester on Tylersville Rd. just east of I-75 and continues on that road until the junction with U.S. 42 at which point we turn left and go north. Most of the trip is in Mason, however. The border between West Chester and Mason is probably crossed before the 1:00 mark in the video.

We really like everything about it when we went there for the tennis at Mason and hope to go back for more tennis in the near future.

What ever happened to Tylerville Rd being a country road that began at hwy US42 and went toward Hamilton. It was Country almost all the way to Hamilton outskirts? I have driven that road many times as a two lane road.

I miss traveling there for the tennis every year as we did for 4 lovely years. Loved the tennis and that cool train place Entertrainment Junction. Really miss it all. Stopped coming there for 2 main reasons: 1) it kept getting hotter and hotter and virtually unbearable on our side of the stadium during the day, and 2) the cost of everything just kept going up, especially concessions and we decided to use the same money to travel more. Also, the entire tournament is now on TV and you can actually see better on TV although the live action is great, especially on the outer courts where you can sit really close.

I graduated from Wm Mison High School in 1960 and Mason was very small. I guess time happens

If you mean have all the agricultural fields been replaced with strip malls, apartments or houses, then I guess nothing is there. The owners of those fields might disagree though. The purpose was to show an area in transition where both traditional agriculture and development are still operating side by side so to speak.
